Best Baking Pans Set Black

👤The cooling rack was scratched because of the poor packaging. The first one was sent back and the second one was ordered. The second was not as bad as the first. The pan and cooling rack are not damaged. Nordic Ware had a better one at the store.

👤I have only used it once, but I am very happy with the set. I wanted to bake bacon with it. The pan is big enough to hold all of the bacon, and the rack is high enough to keep it out of the grease. Will use it more as the week goes on.

👤I bought this item to bake bacon in the oven. I put a piece of aluminum foil under the bacon and baked it for 20 minutes. It allows the bacon to cook without using grease.

It's made of thin cast iron and has a rough finish. This is cheap. The product page says "10 years limited manufacturing warranty", but the sheet that comes with the pan says "Basic warranty is for 30 days." I don't know what those things mean and the seller can't make up its mind either.

👤The first one I ordered had a poor finish, but my main concern was that it was warped. The manufacturer of the pan claims that it is a multi use pan that can be used on the stove top. It was not suitable for use on my glass cook-top stove since it was unstable and rocking. I have three other cast iron pans that are flat and have a better finish. I verified the stability of my stove top and several areas of my granite counter top. It consistently shook in the same way. I ordered another one after sending it back. The first pan looked like a Rembrandt. The second one was just as bad, had an equally poor texture, and the perimeter thickness along the top varied from 4 to 8mm. I'm buying another brand with better manufacturing and quality control and sending this one back.

👤Terrible pan! The pan made a loud popping noise as it was preheating, scaring my daughter and me. I thought my stove top had cracked, but it was my new pan. I have several cast iron pans that we use on stovetop, on grill, in smoker, camping, etc and was excited to add this one to my collection. Imagine my disappointment when it's less than a month. The anger!

👤The pan seems to work well so far. I have a problem trying to register my pan for a lifetime warranty on the vendor website. The website has been suspended. The vendor told me that I needed to go to their website from where I purchased the pan to register the warranty. The pan was purchased through the Home-Complete vendor. It makes you think twice before buying from this vendor.

👤I wanted to buy American made, but couldn't find anything similar in the budget. We couldn't stand the electric skillet, so we used the great pan. Was impressed with the performance. The original seasoning was very good. If you want to get the surface smooth, you should use an electric sander and a couple pieces of 60 grit sandpaper for a few minutes. Re-season. You'll have a great pizza pan, or something similar, if you find a use for it.

👤The set looks good. The material is not as heavy as I thought. I am a metal worker and a little more weight would have made me think about quality more. It is not necessary for what the product will be used for. My kids and I made Martha White muffins for the first time. You know what I mean, just add milk muffins. They came out well. I lifted them out with a spoon after letting them cook a little. There are permanent scratches to the muffin holes. I was surprised. The dish I have in my kitchen is the most delicate of all the dishes I have. I can see rust from the scratches. I'm not happy. The only decent thing about them is the coating on them. The metal brake was used to make the pieces. Don't waste your money on these. It might as well be a Walmart-special.

👤The first use of these bad boys was awesome. After we finished our meal, I melted all the cheese and goodies on the pans, and it all fell off. It took 2 seconds to clean under the water. They impressed my wife and me. Fast forward a few weeks and they are starting to oxidize. Lots of scrubbing. My wow period with them came to a screeching halt. You feel like you are going to bend them when you clean them, and if you were not careful, you would.

They feel heavy because they are made of carbon STEEL and not cheap material that you see at department stores. The red handles prevent you from getting burnt. These pans have been used to make pizza, loaf cake, and other items. They are easy to clean up. This is a great deal for the price and quality.

👤I was expecting a full set of baking pans, but they are not even a full size. The rubber grips won't prevent your hands from getting burnt. I used a hand towel three times to remove the pan because I couldn't find my oven mitt. They bend easily because they are so thin.

👤I washed my food after I made a bunch of enchiladas in one of these pans. No worry about scrubbing hard to remove grease. It's easy to clean and light weight. With the weight they lack, they don't give up in quality. Saving space is a concern for me as well, and they stack perfectly together. The red plastic grips are easy to clean. I can retire my old pans with confidence because of my new set.

👤trays warp when you cook, it's very easy to stain any food you cook. The product is not recommendable as the options work better than this set. I have only had this set for a short time and it is so bad that I am going to throw it out. Don't waste your money.

👤I have been using this pan for two months. The bread bakes beautifully and never sticks. I noticed that the pan's coating was peeling off from the lid, and I started to notice black specks on my dough. The coating on the lid is not very shiny. I will not be using the pans anymore because it seems unsafe to eat. Please look at the photos.

👤I decided to try this pan because I find the loaves I bake end up oddly shaped and difficult to slice, but I am so pleased with the results. I learned to be patient while making bread from the Great British Baking Show. I put the dough in this bread box to rise an additional 30 minutes before baking, because I now do most of the work with my bread machine. I think 1lb of dough is fine. Since purchasing this pan, I have made loaves weekly. I made 3 loaves of bread, 2 of which were herbs and cheese, and the other was pesto bread. The gold pan is heavier than the black pan. I don't know how common that is, but I don't want to deal with it. The gold is a rose gold color. There are holes in the pan, but I didn't have any issues with that. If I were to bake something other than bread, I would line it with foil to avoid drips. I think the pan is a great size since you can fit 2 lbs of dough into it. I got this pan because of the lid. The lid makes it possible to bake a uniform loaf of bread. It stayed in place while baking. It was easy to remove. I thought I would start with 1lb of dough, but it only filled the pan about 60 percent, so I went back to reading that the pan baked 1lb of dough. I made a 1.5lb loaf and a 2lb loaf which both worked, but 2 lbs of dough will fill the pan nicely. The 1.5lb loaf is next to the 2lb loaf and you can see that the 2lb loaf filled the pan more than the 1.5lb loaf. I baked my loaves at 350 for 35 to 45 minutes. I have a metal bread box, but I also purchased a LOCK & LOCK HPL849 bread storage container, which you can see in one of my photos. It is not large enough to fit 2 full loaves, but it will fit at least 1.5 loaves. I have a bread box and it has a bread container inside it. The 2lb loaf was easier to slice than the 3 loaves I have made so far. I was able to slice the bread into very thin slices. I want to be able to cut more consistently sized slices. This pan is amazing. I plan on making loaves for us regularly since it is so easy and I love the results, but I have never been much of a bread maker. I recommend this pan to anyone who wants to make a loaf of bread that is easy to slice.

👤When using dark cake pans, recipes advise to reduce the temp by 25o, from 350o to 325o. We discovered that our homemade German chocolate cake was baked much faster than suggested by recipe. If we had not checked the layers early, they would have burned. These heavy pans performed well without lining pans with parchment or wax paper. When we cook the frosting, we allow the layers to stay in the cake pans and they initially would not release but a quick return to a warm over for a minute or two allowed the layers to come right out of the pans. One spot on each layer is stuck to the pan. It made no difference to the cake. We initially wanted the 5 layer cake pan set in champagne color, but it was never on sale during the time that we watched; these pans are fine. We only used 3 of the 4 cake pans for the German chocolate recipe.

👤The pans were cheap. I was hesitant to buy since I had never used an Air Fryer and thought the price was too high. The first time I used the pan, the bottom scratched as I put it in the oven. I am very gentle with my new weapon. I am not happy. I can't use them without putting foil in the bottom since a plastic spatula can scratch it. They are thicker than the one I bought with my Af, which only sells with other accessories, and I don't need more of them. Good packaging was used for the arrival. It will not hold up long with us if we give it a 3 for scratching.

👤Happy to see that pans were strong. Before use, wash things. The Drying showed rust spots. Rudy ester could be seen dripping from the rolled edges. Don't take a chance. Returned.

👤I have several Lodge pieces, my favorite is my skillet, and I believe it will be this iron pan. I have only used it for bacon, and it does an excellent job. I start the oven at a lower temperature of 325 degrees and then turn it up to 350 degrees to give the pan time to heat up. I don't use cast iron because I want to add a little hot water to the pan and then clean it with a non-stick sponge. Comes clean and no problems. I have cleaned my skillet this way for over 30 years and it is still as good as new.

It becomes more handsome the longer you use it. It is sure to become a family heirloom with proper use and care. I have a few tricks on how to use and care for cast iron. MEDIUM heat is all you need. You can heat up the pan or pot in just 10 minutes. If you want to cook pancakes more slowly, use medium low heat. If you use low heat and be patient, they will take a while. This can cause cracking if cast iron is given a thermal shock. The liquid in a pot or pan should be boiling or very hot. The seasoned surface of cast iron is important in creating a non-stick cooking surface so don't use soap or detergent to clean it. The only things you need are hot water and a scrub brush. Coarse salt is also effective for cleaning. You can heat the pot or pan for a few minutes after you clean it. Before putting the cast iron away, make sure it is dry and has a thin film of cooking oil on it. It is a good idea to avoid cooking acidic foods in cast iron. The cast iron will be dissolved by this. The food can have a metallic taste. The non-food contact surfaces of your cast iron pot or pan will likely get baked-on deposits of oil and food after extended use. You can use a paint scraper or coarse sandpaper to clean up these non-food-contact surfaces. If you are uncommonly fastidious, you can use a more aggressive technique, such as placing the pot or pan upside-down in a sink with a dishwasher, or coat the non-food-contact surfaces with oven cleaner. The technique of applying cooking oil to the cast iron is great for bringing new life to cookware both inside and out. Do not use this method for aluminum, steel, titanium, or copper. I am not sure if the cast iron coming from China is as good as it was in the past. My parents bought a cast iron skillet from G SW in the 50's. You can see your face in it, it is still in active service and has a beautiful finish. The cast iron seems to have a coarse finish. The material used in the molds is not as good as it was previously.

👤It took me a long time to decide if I wanted to purchase this item. I didn't want to waste my money because there were so many negative reviews. After this choice was in my bottom 2, I decided to buy this one. I am very happy with my choice. These pans are wonderful. I have never heard of these pots breaking easily, the handle catching on fire, or the utensils melting, and I cook using them almost every day. They always compliment the turquoise color when I have company. I don't use the dishwasher for washing. Hand washing is the best way to prolong your life. Sometimes I use only my hands and light soap, and sometimes I use a wash cloth with light soap. My pans have stayed in great shape because I follow the rule of low to medium cooking temperatures. I'm very gentle with them. Take care of it if you want it to last. If you can't decide to purchase this at the moment, please make your decision with this comment. They are healthy for your family and you will not regret it. I am a normal person who purchased this, so I can say that I am a real person.

👤When I decided on ceramic, I read up a lot on how to take care of them, because I did a lot of research when I wanted new pots and pans. I bought this set in August of 2019. This has been going on for a while. I contacted the company to see what I could do after purchasing, and they told me I was cooking at too high of a heat. I do my research when I cook them on low-low heat. I wanted these to last a long time. I have some ceramic chipping off. I bought the utensils to use on the pots and pans because they were melting onto the pots and pans. This is a waste of my money and I would like you to take my advice and not waste it.

👤The pans were perfect in the first couple of days. I only washed my hands. They started to chip. Someone in my family consumed that chip. I will save the world another photo, but the same brown burnt pan you see is what happened to me as well. When I read the other reviews, I thought those people cook on extreme heat. Nope! 👤The product is pretty. The description is wonderful. I heated spaghetti sauce on medium, placed it's cover on to avoid splattering, and a few minutes later, I heard a loud "pop" looked down, all of the glass shattered into the sauce, I picked up the pot to remove from the heat and the glass shattered everywhere I am not sure if the glass lids will hurt someone worse. I was told that the product would not be available until it was checked.

👤These are not very good. There are small scratches on the bottom of the pans after being used a few times, but they are not that big of a deal, what is a big deal is that those scratches are already ruining the pans! They will be returning to Amazon.

👤The bottom of the pans are non-stick. The sides are not coated, and the top edges are barely coated. I could not remove spots on the sides and edges without damaging the coating. There isn't a lot to choose from when you're looking for a good set of non-stick bakeware, so I give it a 4 stars. I used them at Thanksgiving. I couldn't clean the spots on the sides and edges. I could live with them. I burned the juices on my Christmas game hens. I mean black and crisp. The charred mess came out with the spray nozzle after an hour of soaking. They are heavier and thicker than standard bakeware. Don't think that the Good Grips grips are for grabbing without a potholder. They get very hot. The side of the cookie sheet is about an inch tall, which allows it to be used for roasting. I like them a lot.

👤I was surprised with the SHEET PANS. I don't use oil in my cooking. I have to tell you that there was no need to wash any of the sheets. I used a paper towel to remove them. This was not necessary. Baking Japanese sweet potatoes with their Oaxacan risotto was not necessary. I have also used the bread pan and it has the same result: no need to wash after use. I used either paper or a sheet. No washing up after USAGE was necessary. There is no vanishing daffodils, NADA. These are the best! They included a round cake TIN with the set.

👤I haven't read any reviews, but I'm commenting on my experience with this set. They don't get used to cooking 3 course dinners every night, they see a mix of chicken nuggets and patties, various other frozen meats and meals, and bacon when I'm too lazy to cook on the stove. They claim to be non-stick oven wares. I washed the pans with warm water and soap and then cleaned them the same way. It's as easy to clean up as grabbing a paper towel and rinsing with warm water and soap. I haven't noticed any scratches or deformities yet. The pans tend to warp when they are pulled out of the oven and make a loud popping noise when they are done. I'm not sure if that's an error on my part. As they cool they return to their original shape and are no worse for wear.

👤After a couple of months of use, the flat pan started to chip on the edges, and now has a small rush spot where the chip is. It's a good deal for the price. It should have lasted at least 6 months of heavy use before it started to chip. I think that's why there's two of them.

👤These Cookie Sheets are great. They are very strong. They are not like cheap pans. The front and back of each pan are non-stick. When I took the food out of the oven it was just sliding around on the pan and I didn't use any grease. They cleaned up slick when I washed them. You did not have to use any type of scrubber. They used a washrag to clean up. It is important that the back has a great finish. They are hard to clean if they get all scorched. I can say a lot of good things about them. I would highly recommend them.

👤These are very good sheet pans. They don't warp in the oven. I am replacing a set that I have had for many years that have been warped and stained. I like the thickness of these. They don't sound like sheet metal. They are better than my old ones that were warped. I like the darker ceramic coating. It has a non-stick surface. I like that. I like the dark color and use cooking spray on certain items. The spray would stain the pans. They always look new because they wash up. I would use a knife. I don't want to damage the ceramic because it's a coating. They are very small and nest together. The outer rim is shallow enough to bake cookies and deep enough to hold the juices from chicken, but you can use a spatula to lift them off the pan. These are the perfect baking sheets.

👤I was looking to buy a bigger pan. The item looked like it was what I wanted. But... The pans are not as big as advertised. The pan was advertised as 13 inches long, but it is only 12 inches. The depth was supposed to be 2.6 inches. I know that most people don't have a problem with this. I was looking for a pan that would not make a mess when cooking and that was larger. There is a The pans look good. The pans look like steel and are not the aluminum pans that I have now. I don't know how this will affect cooking time.
