The baking powder has zero calories, zero cholesterol, and zero Carbohydrates. Kosher for Passover means you can ensure higher quality and increased food safety.
👤This is a really bad brand of baking powder. There are no refunds allowed on this product. I bought it because it's free of corn and aluminum.
👤I could have seen this if it was listed in the description or photo of the rear side of the can. I am allergic to other items that it is made with, so I wouldn't have ordered it. It's not worth returning, but not throwing it away.
👤If I could, I would give zero starts. I decided to give this brand a try. I've baked more cakes than I can count, usually with great results. I wasted a lot of time and money making a cake that didn't rise at all. Going back to the tried and true brand of baking powder and throwing it in the bin along with the cake.
👤I used this in the recipe for 4 air fried chicken wings. They were terrible. I could still enjoy the taste of aluminum. I am not sure if it was the recipe or the aluminum free baking powder.
👤My wife doesn't use aluminum and Market Pantry used to be a brand of Target. They don't carry it anymore. The product that I found on Amazon did not contain any of the above ingredients. Wife is very happy with it.
👤I love baking powder. It works well. I add it in the recipe, but it's not aluminum. My go to baking powder is here.
One, 14 ounces. The bag is.75 lbs. Kosher Pareve; vegetarian; vegan. R5-ELISA was tested for gluten free. No aluminum ingredients.
👤This is not your mother's baking powder. This is my second purchase of this, and you will have baked goods and pancakes that are more fluffier than you can imagine. You may want to add a little more liquid to your pancake batter. Once it is blended together, resist the temptation to stir your batter more. This batter poofs up big time if you use a larger bowl. Our pancakes are about an inch thick and taste great. I am not supposed to eat pancakes anymore. It's great in biscuits.
👤A damaged bag was placed in a clear bag to catch the spilling contents. When I filled out the information for the replacement, I didn't know if it was non-returnable. The contents are not usable. Who ships open food items?
👤Bob's Red Mill Baking Powder is a double action baking powder that is free of aluminum and has no wheat in it. This baking powder has proved to be the best I have ever used, because I bake with it. My baked goods retain a fresh taste and it provides an excellent rise. When using aluminum based baking powders there is no sour taste. Bob's Red Mill Baking Powder is a must have for baking.
👤When I found out how much baking powder is in the store, I was amazed. I bought this as a replacement after tossing it. It works just as well as the toxic powders that are sold in grocery stores. I can't tell the difference between it and banana bread. I don't know why they make the toxic stuff.
👤America's Test Kitchen reviews of baking powder made me buy this. I put my can in the can so that I wouldn't notice that it came in second. The non-GMO corn that is used in the cornstarch is different from the one used in the #1 pick. I love baking powder. It tastes great and bakes up tall. I highly recommend it.
👤It works well for my food. The packaging is not normal. There is a sticker at the bottom of the package with an expire date of Jan 2022. Not really why. This will be used with my weekly bake. The results are very good after it was tested on my scones. Not sure about biscuits. It is a little pricey, but I think it is better than nothing.
👤That should be the norm. The package would be the one I could change. I prefer a container with a lid, so I throw the package away.
👤The product arrived on time. It was open and had baking powder in it. The plastic was falling apart and it looked like it had been sitting in the sun for a while.
👤It works as it should. Good value for a large pack.
👤What I wanted for pancakes.
👤Baking powder with no aluminum. Good taste in all backings.
Baking powder from Rumford. There is a pack of 2 canisters. The quick-acting formula ensures that your baked goods are consistent in quality. You can achieve a crumb structure that will melt in your mouth and leave your family wanting more. Double acting, Kosher, Pareve and has zero trans-fat.
👤The product was not what was advertised. There is a difference between aluminum free and regular baking powder. The product was the same as regular baking powder. Don't buy it.
👤I just got this and I'm angry. The same thing is on the shelves of both Wal and Krog, but it costs less than $2 a can. When it arrived here, I looked up the UPC and it was the same one at both stores. Got taken again. I'm so angry at myself.
👤It has no aluminum in it. Most of them have it. I can't imagine anyone using aluminum in baking powder. My baking projects were helped by a away. Will buy again.
👤Baking powder is not easy to find in the grocery store, so you have to coat your air fryer wings with it. It makes the wings more crisp. Don't change the taste.
👤The Rumford Baking Powder is not aluminum free. The above picture is my actual Rumford Baking Powder. I kept it because I couldn't find a replacement for it. The ingredients on mine are different from those on the fake aluminum free. When a product's head is a lie, it should be allowed to be a reFUND. There are people who were misled and cheated.
👤It has a better taste than other brands. Some brands have a bitter taste because of the aluminum in it. Everything tastes better because of this.
👤Good evening power and good night.
Baking powder with asealable cover. Cornstarch, aluminum, and wheat are free. Great for cooking and baking. Kosher for Passover and year round use.
👤I ordered this because it doesn't contain aluminum, and I couldn't find my usual brand, so I was out for a while. I was excited to make baking powder biscuits and sausage gravy. I always use my usual recipe. But. What a disappointment! The biscuits were thick. I've been baking for 50 years, and I've never seen biscuits like this before. I gave it a second chance when I made corn bread muffins the other night, but I got the worst. I shook the can to make sure it was dry. Again, hardly raised. I checked the use by date and it was Feb 2, 2022. Couldn't just order one, so the two cans went into the trash. I don't recommend this product.
👤This is a baking powder. Highly recommended!
👤I baked cookies for my wife. Unlike most other baking powder products, your product is made without corn. My wife is very allergic to corn and most other baking powder is made with it. I baked cookies with your baking powder and they were amazing.
👤Yeah. No. I opened one of these about 3 weeks after I received them and there was black mold on the inside. I don't want a nice metal shelf to hold my baking powder. The Baking Powder was bought directly from King Arthur Baking Company.
👤When Amazon stopped carrying the kind I was using, I bought this. I am allergic to sulfites. The potato is processed with something called sulfites. Even though it is not opened, it is non-returnable. I will give it away.
👤32% of your daily intake is for sodium.
👤Baking powder is used daily by me. I shook the can before opening it. Nothing happened. The contents were solid when I opened the can. I had to remove the "powder" from the can with a spoon because the product was so bad. I had to sift the "powder" to use it. I will not purchase this product again. I think there's a reason it's not returnable.
👤I use this for baking, but also for air fried chicken wings. They come out with no change in flavor. It's definitely a favorite.
There is information about the soy allergy.
👤I was excited to get these, but I found out they have carrageenan in it. It is all vegan and non gmo. These marshmallows are good. I won't buy it again because of the carrageenan. It is not safe to eat graded carrageenan. The agency concluded that poligeenan may have the same effect on humans as it has on animals. Some scientists are worried that food grade carrageenan is dangerous. The recipe should be changed. I'll be happy to buy again.
👤I love and hate marshmallows. There are pros and cons to plant-based! It's vegan-friendly! It's good! They taste like regular marshmallows. A nice, sweet flavor of marshmallows. The texture is light and fluffy. I will explain more in a second. The marshmallows are light and fluffy, but after a few seconds of chewing they take on a gummy pasty texture that is off-putting. I could not do without the aftertaste. Add'l con: I wanted to use these with some vegan butter spread and vegan rice crispy cereals to make vegan rice treats, even though I don't eat vegan food very often. The extra stabilizers and gums that are used to replace the gelatin cause the marshmallows to not melt very well. I had mostly solid marshmallows in the pan after standing at the stove for a good five minutes. They just turned to liquid. In less than five seconds, there was no joke or exaggeration. I poured the marshmallows and butter into the rice cereal and started stirring. The whole thing had turned into a thick gummy mess when I couldn't even get half-way done. I had to have my husband finish the job. We got them pressed into a pan and let them cool. The initial flavor was there, but then the gummy-pasty taste kicked in. If you have to, use them, but be prepared for some serious oddity. I don't think I'll be buying them again.
👤These are very expensive. I have been vegetarian for 30 years and can't remember the last time I had a Rice Krispies Treat. They worked perfectly using the recipe on the back of the bag, even though they didn't follow my Mom's recipe. The coconut oil is needed to thin them out. I'm happy I can have these treats again. I'll be eating them all the time. Thanks, Dandies!
👤I was looking for marshmallows that did not contain any animal or alcohol products in their ingredients for a long time. I found this item in the vegan section of Amazon. Product packaging color is a little different than the actual image on display, but the ingredients have been personally inspected and they still match! Thank you! It's a good thing.
👤camping is a big thing in my household. I have to figure out a way to make traditional things veganized. It's a good thing... We can still have fun roasting marshmallows on an open fire as a family. They burn the same amount and taste the same.
👤It only came with one bag. $30 for a bag of marshmallows is not a good deal.
Double acting baking powder is a great leavening agent used in many baked good recipes. Consistency is achieved with their double-acting formula. The project is non-GMO. The baking powders have a lower level of sodium.
👤I care for a man who had heart failure. We have to watch the amount of salt in our body.
👤It is a reduced sodium product. We do not need to add more salt to our food. I use it in all my recipes. It's hard to find. It is a shame that it is discontinued.
👤I don't notice a difference between this and regular baking powder. It is lower in sodium than Rumford's.
👤I like it. I am on a low sodium diet and it works the same as regular. I bake my own food because some of the bake goods I buy have high levels of sodium.
👤For a family with health issues and need of lore sodium in diet, it was purchased. It works so that you can enjoy baked goods.
👤Like that too. I like that it's reduced in sodium, and it helps when I bake.
👤Have used this before and have no problems. I find little balls of lump in the finished product when I look at everything I make.
👤I would like to find in a larger size.
Non-GMO project verified.
👤I use 1/2tsp of this to bake my own keto breads, because not much of a baker from scratch. I checked the date on the container and it expired in 2014, I have had it for a while. I received a new container today and my bread came out the same as it did when I opened it.
👤This baking powder is free of aluminum. The most popular brands have aluminum. It works in all of my baking and I am very happy about that. No funky after tastes does what it was made for and is priced to buy! You'll thank me if you go ahead and make the switch. You're welcome!
👤A small package is very expensive. If it was a better value, I would give it five stars. Feel this is a rip-off.
👤I bought this for a trip so I could make breakfast muffins. I had a very healthy breakfast using a microwave and mug before I left to go sightseeing. I would do it again.
👤I didn't know that my baking powder was making my muffins, bread, pancakes and what-not bite me. I have seen a huge change. My wife said she never noticed the "off" flavor, but she's definitely lying.
👤The product is good and the packaging is good. It's a bit pricey for that small amount.
👤I like Rumford brand baking powder because it doesn't have aluminum in it. Works well! The price is appropriate for a smaller container than I've had before.
👤It works perfectly and is a small portion, but if you bake too much it is better to buy a bigger size.
Bob's Red Mill Baking Powder is used in many no-yeast baking recipes. It has no bitter taste. Double- acting is free ofgluten-free.
👤The product was delivered on time. The fact that I didn't get the baking soda I ordered was a lower star. The premium quality was given to me. I wanted pure.
👤Bob's Red Mill Baking Soda is good. The two stars are for the price. I found the same package in the store.
👤Only one order was received.
👤I don't like that I paid for two and only received one, it's a total rip off.
Double acting baking powder is a great leavening agent. Consistency can be achieved with their double acting formula. Project Non-GMO verified ingredients are used in NON-GMO. The baking powders have higherODIUM than lowerODIUM.
👤I like the fact that this is less salty than baking powder and aluminum free. I use it to make corn bread. Even though the recipe calls for salt, I don't add it because it tastes great. It works well.
👤I ordered the product a few days ago. Today, September 2, it arrives. November 5, 2021, is the "use by" date. It will take five weeks to use 8.1oz of baking powder. It's ridiculous.
👤Baking powder is a hidden source of sodium in food. I have found a baking powder that is 100% successful. My husband is happy that he can occasionally have a biscuit without me making him aware of the high level.
👤Needing to cut down drastically on sodium consumption, had been getting a no-sodium baking powder that has recently jumped up a lot in price with iffy availability. This baking powder is only reduced in salt, but it still has half the amount of regular stuff. It's still pricey, but manageable, and so far works well.
👤We tried this product to cut down on the amount of salt in the food. It is not appreciably lower. I think every little bit helps, but people.
👤Those trying to live a healthier lifestyle should look at this. Both lower in sodium and free of aluminum but still do the job.
👤It works best if you use it all the time, fresh works best but still works after a long period of time. Local stores don't usually carry this size of brand. I would have paid less for 2 than I did for 4oz if I had seen the 4oz price at the store yesterday. It costs less to have it delivered.
👤It's nice to be able to bake with less salt. The pricing is excessive. I don't know if the overpricing is worth it.
Trader Joe's Baking Powder is free of aluminum.
👤The picture and description show that the baking powder is aluminum free. The cans I received didn't say aluminum free. I brought this to the attention of the seller before I wrote this review, and I received a note that said Trader Joe's baking powder is aluminum free. It does not say that on the cans I received. Don't buy from this seller.
👤The picture on Amazon shows the product is not aluminum free. Misleading!
👤I received something that did not say aluminum free. The buyer should beware.
👤I was concerned when I read reviews that the can was not aluminum-free, as shown in the picture of the can in the listing. The front of the label didn't show it was aluminum-free when I received it. The ingredients list doesn't show any aluminum. I have Trader Joe's "Aluminum-Free" Baking Powder in my cupboard, and the ingredient list is the same as it is in the can. The manufacturer made a huge mistake by changing the label and not showing aluminum-free on the front. The ingredient list shows there is no aluminum. I've used Trader Joe's Baking Powder for a long time.
👤I had to buy the two pack because each container has 383 serving. I can't use the contents of a container for a year because each container's expiration date is 11/2019. Very disappointed.
👤Our store is not very good. They stopped carrying the baking powder. I had to look somewhere else. I'm too far away from Joe's. I found this on Amazon. They were so happy to have it. There is no weird taste from it. There is a It is not as toxic.
👤Trader Joe's Baking Powder is free of aluminum. Rumsford isn't always in stock, but is the only equivalent product in our market. Trader Joe's product fits my needs, even though I have a strong prejudice against baking powder.
The new product has many new features. 100% recyclable container; aluminum free. Double acting is kosher.
👤I got the aluminum free instead of the aluminum free I ordered. A picture is shown. Where is the container that says aluminum free? I will not be buying again.
👤I used to bake homemade biscuits and shortcakes. Baking powder is required to make these properly. They always ended up with a bitter aftertaste, no matter how much sugar I added. My go-to supermarket baking powder was the culprit. I would always grab the one that was cheapest. Most people do this and are not aware of it. I was looking through different baking websites a few months ago. I was given a small amount of information that led to the light above my head. Most baking powders have aluminum in them. All I needed was to use a better ingredient, because I had suffered all these years. My baked goods have been 100% better with no bitterness, without an ingredient that's really not good to eat. I checked the use-by date when I received my container of baking powder. The date was past a year. If your baking powder isn't fresh, you'll end up with flat, hockey puck type biscuits and other baked goods. I put a reminder on my calendar about a month before the date that I'll know to reorder it. I would hate to be caught off guard, where my efforts to make a great meal would be ruined. The lid of the baking powder is useful. There is enough room to allow a small measure. There's a leveler after that. You know you're getting the correct amount.
👤You can fit a spoon in and out of the lid of this baking powder, it is a 5+ star baking powder. You are getting robbed by ordering here. You are paying six times more than the supermarket. I have been a Prime member for at least 4 years. I want this baking powder, but I need to go to a supermarket. I am embarrassed that I paid for this to be delivered. You will hit yourself in the head when you see it.
👤The item received is not the same as the item ordered. The sticker on the container states that it is aluminum free. Something I could print and stick on myself was not a factory label. The item was not shown as an option and would be returning it. It wasn't a major purchase because it isn't an option. It's not crazy to just throw away $5. Being misled is something that really SALVAGEDATA Since, has made me rethink a number of purchases.
👤I don't know where it says aluminum free on the label. When I tried to pull the main label off, it ripped the main label under neath off, because there is a sticker of some kind placed directly over the ingredient list. You can't read the ingredients. I found it in my grocery store for less money, but I didn't know it had aluminum, so I hope this one is the same.
