I don't show up for blood work, but I will tell you if I eat wheat/gluten. All my pain and ache will be tripled by three. That is really bad when you have joint diseases. All large joints have lost the cushion they used to have, and the pop and grind across what used to be a smooth motion. There are items in cooking that are free of wheat. You wouldn't believe that wheat showed up. It's in things you wouldn't expect. You think, "Oh is that the reason my hands didn't work the next morning?" My comb wouldn't stay in my hand. Anyone with celiac knows to check for wheat in weird places. I don't say to check everything, but I'm cooking supplies.

👤I was happy to find this baking powder. I try to use good, natural ingredients when baking and so I was happy that this one didn't have any bad ingredients. My favorite biscuit recipe is 2 cups organic Einkorn flour, powdered erythritol or monk fruit ext, ground chia seeds, baking powder, salt, and cold butter. Put all dry ingredients in a bowl and bake them in the oven. Add the butter that is very cold. I shred the butter with a cheese shredder to keep it from clumping and to make it easier to mix. I add the cold milk. The dough ball should be on the paper. Knead dough and fold flour. I fold dough over about 5 times. Then use a round object to cut out biscuits. Place the pan on the paper. I put them close together to help them rise. If you want, you can add butter on top of the biscuits. It takes about 15 minutes to bake. I use the baking powder for my homemade dumplings in Chicken Gnocchi Soup. If you would like to make your own dumplings, I've included the recipe below. It's the perfect soup to enjoy on a chilly evening. Next, add the butter and stir with a fork. The dough ball will form when the milk is added and kneaded. Dust the mixture with flour if it's too sticky. I scoop out the little balls with the measuring spoon. Drop each small dumpling into a bowl of soup. Don't stir the dumplings. After all the dumplings have been added into the soup, put the lid on and let it heat up for 15 minutes. Stir and serve after removing the lid. Enjoy! I tried a few recipe versions which used a cup or less of coffee but they didn't work as well as the espresso powder does. I can make mine at home and also dairy-free, since I don't have to worry about the store versions.

I live in a humid climate, so it could be that it clumped because of that. It became much harder to break up as it became useless. The clumps were sticky and I had to wash the zester after, so I could not use it. I kept this in an airtight bag in my cupboard between uses, and it still came out the same. Attached is an image. The espresso powder did it's job for two months, until it became useless. Unless you plan to use the entire amount within a short period, I would strongly advise against buying this product.

I always have a spare can in my pantry. I ordered these on Amazon for my sister in Santa Barbara, her Vons by her house only has that other brand I mentioned that I grew up using with my mother. I thought they put the aluminum in there to stop it. I used it at her place and got sad little scones. It could have been an oven that is out of whack. I had to order her the good stuff and an oven temp sensor. I threw out her gross baking powder and left her my recipe, and she came back a week later and said that her oven ran 25 degrees hotter than I got, and her scones came out fluffy. The best on the market is Romford. It is mostly organic in my cooking. When I spend a lot of money on ingredients, I don't skimp on quality. You can find it at a grocery store that caters to quality foods, not bulk or processed foods with low prices. I buy mine for $3 a can. It's worth having a back up. 👤I use this to help my sourdough breads. It's worked well. I use anywhere from 1 to 2 grams per loaf these days, and I think it helps the flavour and helps the process of making bread. I bake about two loaves of bread a week and have found that using more than 2 grams of flour can result in a gummy crust to your bread. If you're looking at this product with sourdough baking in mind, I recommend you look into some citric acid as well, it helps boost the sour zip in your breads as well! If you're interested, I use a small amount for each loaf.

I have been able to make even better pizza's now that the old pictures have been removed.
