Best Baking Powder Makeup Huda

👤I am a powder snob. I've tried every drugstore and high-end powder out there for setting my foundation and baking my undereye area. Laura Mercier translucent powder has been my favorite for the past 2 years. I couldn't afford to drop $38 for it because I ran out. I ordered a few inexpensive options to try out. I wasn't expecting much from this powder. It's amazing... I am going away. It's better than Laura Mercier powder. It's a fraction of the price. This powder is very finely milled, smooth and buttery, it sets without depositing any color, and is great for baking the undereye area. There is no creativity and no cakey-ness. It's easy to dust off the extra. I had no issues with touching up my nose and forehead throughout the day. It doesn't bother my eyes at all and has no scent. I will never go back to expensive powders. Don't ever change the formula, thank you ELF! I'm buying more as backups so I never run out. The ELF undereye setting powder is almost as good as the one I got, but I prefer the one for baking. It's worth a try if you like it.

👤I love this stuff! It helps keep my skin smooth. When I coat my skin in too much powder, I let it sit for a couple minutes then dust it off. I use a brush that is not fluffy. My skin will still look shiny a few hours later. I used it when I was a bridesmaid. Before I left for the venue, I did my own makeup and applied it again while the rest of the bridesmaids were getting ready. It should be put everywhere from the eyeliner line to the layers of lipstick. It was 10:30am. Lunch, pictures outside, a trip to the hot, humid park for more pictures, a church for a ceremony, and back to the venue for reception, dinner and dancing. My makeup stayed in place while I was at 10pm.

👤This has a good finish. Not cakey, no white cast, can be retouched without cakiness. This is not expected to be glittery. It looks like you put glitter on it. This might be a decent effect on cheekbones, but excessive and weird on the forehead and other parts of the body. They have another formula without "luminance" in the name. I bought it yesterday at the grocery store, and it seems to have the same properties as this formula save the sparkliness, I would recommend that before this for full face use. It is very light and tends to poop everywhere. Applying a bunch of loose powder to my forehead results in a bunch of loose powder around my eyes, which is an annoyance since it's a bit more irritating in them than talc, cornstarch and also probably a higher inhalation concern. It could be a messier touch-ups. The non-luminance version is the same. I might buy the pressed version to see if it works for touch-ups.

👤I am pretty sure this is a fake product. The lid was covered in powder smudges and it looked dirty on the outside. There was a foundation on the powder puff. It was accompanied by a used powder puff. I will only buy at ulta.

The biggest problem is that I have large pores that make it hard for me to lose your car keys. I've tried a lot of make-up products. I didn't work to minimize my pores. I read the reviews and bought Bye Pores. It works! It is easy to apply. Fine lines and wrinkling around my eyes have been erased. I apply the product with a small brush around my eyes, and then use a big brush on the rest of my face. The big ol' pores around my nose and chin are gone. It's amazing! There has to be a downside. Right. The only problem with this product is that it makes my facial hair look better. This product clings to facial hair and makes them very visible if you haven't recently used a depilatory. Since I can't use a depilatory every week, I apply Bye Pores. I lightly touch my palms and fingers to my face, nose, chin, and forehead after washing my hands. I still have a beautiful finish to my makeup even though I took off just enough product to calm those facial hairs. I think Bye Pores is a good idea. It's a very effective finishing powder that makes the lines disappear.

The true test for me is if my under eye concealer stays put without wrinkling when I set it with this powder. I find that it helps stop shine. The sample I received from Amazon is not the same color as the sample that thousands of people received from Ipsy. It could be a fake or it could be a factory consistency problem. I laid the powders side by side and the product had a lighter, brighter, yellow tone to it. The new color of the product was even better for my olive, golden skin tone. The sample had a smoothing effect. I'm not upset. I was going to warn people about the color. My concern is whether or not I can or want to buy something from Amazon when I run out, knowing that I may be supporting a fake seller or a factory that is inconsistent. I still gave it 4 stars because I am very picky when it comes to setting powders. I have tried almost everything and this stuff is very good. I have dry, aging skin and the Amazon version did a great job of smoothing, setting, brightening, and mattifying without being too drying. I warn buyers that this is not the same color as the original, but it is still a good powder that has outperformed many of my high end setting powders.

I think it helps the concealer on my face spots to last longer and blend in better. The technique I've described has been the best thing I've found so far and I will be sticking to it. 👤I bought the NYX HD finishing powder based on the price. The price was right and it was an add on. I gave it a try. I don't have another brand to compare it to, but I prefer this powder over regular face powder. I suffer with an oily complexion and occasional breakouts in my fifties. I usually use high-end make-up products to prevent the products from separation and wrinkling. The powder works well. It gives my complexion a smooth finish. I apply it to my foundation in the morning and then do a little touching up during lunch. My make-up doesn't make me look old, it looks fresh all day, and it doesn't cause me to look old. I am happy with my purchase.

He is probably one of the people who doesn't listen to the character's voice in his head. This is an actual phenomenon. Yes, dude! Some people have to drive miles away to get to a facility. Who leaves packages on the floor in front of your door for the package to be picked up in this day and time? Rural areas have crimes of opportunity as well as porch pirates. As an educator, our daily routines have become more complicated as we try to adjust to the new hyper-cleaning requirement throughout and after school to decrease COVID-19 transmission. Nobody has time for that. What is happening with AMAZON? $10 of product should not involve a lengthy inquisition with a preset outcome. It might be a good idea to look at the use of the word pivot in the new age of Pandemic responses. Woah. This whole experience feels like a rundown theater on the other side of town showing poorly produced X-rated movies in the wee hours of the morning. ... I am counting on you.

👤It's a good thing... The protective sticker seal that protects the container from powder spilling was creased and bent, as if it had been removed before. Half of the powder was missing. The hair was in the container and it was disturbing. No idea what it is. It looks like a plastic like material, which only happened to be shaped like a hair, but either way it's disturbing and really shouldn't be in there.

I noticed that it makes your makeup look better when you apply it with a damp beauty blender than with a brush, which is how I used to do it myself. Some people may be confused about a few things. Since this is a finishing powder, you should only use it after you have applied everything. Then this powder. 2. Only use this one time. This isn't a touch up powder or something that provides extra coverage. No finishing powder really should be used for baking, so for all you face bakers out there, this is not the thing. 3. You must use the smallest amount. A little goes a long way. Look at your brush. Do you think it looks good? Okay, cool! Shake off more excess. Trust me. 4. To avoid white streaks and moving your perfectly placed makeup, always remember to pat on your powder. Just pat in circles. The main ingredient in this product is Silica. For those who don't know, Silica has light reflecting properties. It's a light reflective ingredient. If you use too much and take too many photos, the flash will reflect off your face and make it look white. If you use too much, that's not possible. If you use the right way, HD finishing powders will give you a soft and smooth look that is great on cameras and photography. I like to use a kabuki brush with black bristles because they are great for applying this powder and also great for determining if you are using too much. You have too much if you can't see the powder on your brush. If you use the powder in this way, you won't have any problems with your face.

👤I can understand why some reviewers love it or dislike it, but I want to explain the pros and cons of it. This product is great for oily skin. My skin is so oily that with most setting powders, I will have to apply 3-4 times a day and then have my makeup melt by the end of the day. It gets to a point where I am too frustrated to do makeup because I know the oil will ruin everything. I've tried a lot of powders for oily skin, from Rimmel to E.L.F.'s HD powder, and even NYX's other powder, "Set it Don't Fret It." That is with a primer and setting spray. I am able to dip a big fluffy brush into the powder, without needing much. Apply my setting spray after swirl it in my oily zones. I leave my house with the belief that my face won't melt off and that my skin won't get dull. If I'm really oily, I might need to apply about 4-5 hours later, but this stuff is amazing. This is not good for dry skin and it is not good for the under eye area. My face becomes very dry when I do the peels because of the old scars on it. If I try to use this powder on my skin, it will look terrible. If you have dry skin, you should check out Coty Airspun Loose Powder. It's affordable and my friends with dry skin have had great experiences with it. If you use the NYX powder under your eyes, it will crease like no body's business. If you're into affordable baking, NYC makes some good loose powders. If you have dry skin or are considering baking with this powder, I would direct you to another place.

It is not up to par with the rest of their products. Go and find your color. Their other pressed powders are good.

👤I received this product two minutes ago and will update this post once I use it. I am not happy right now. Why is it yellow? I thought it would be translucent, but it is not finely milled. I uploaded a picture. Goes on a chase. I like it so far. You definitely shouldn't bake with this. It sets your face well. It doesn't tell you what your shape is even after waiting a few minutes. The feeling after baking is very different.

👤I bought this powder because I have very sensitive skin and most setting powders break me out even if they last all day. I've used many setting powders before, but nothing compares to this one. It has a nice sheen to it, so it isn't completely matt, doesn't dry out the skin, photographs amazingly, and wears all day long with no touch up's needed. It set my La Mer foundation so well that I had no creasing under the eyes, on the side of my both or on my chin like I normally do with other powders. The texture of the powder is very soft. This powder is very good.

👤Don't buy. FAKE. The real product is free of harmful substances. I just received my order from Amazon and it contained talc. I had a talc allergy and it made my skin sting and it looked like I had put baby powder on. The product has a creamy appearance. This stuff is white. It is basically Johnson's baby powder. Returned right away. Only buy from Aesthetica. The product is good. It's terrible that Amazon continues to allow fake Chinese makeup and beauty products. I don't buy those items from the direct source. I have looked everywhere for a setting powder that doesn't break the bank and also does the job without being cakey. This is the one. I will buy again.

👤Excellent setting powder. The container is large and powder is finely milled, doesn't settle into the skin when applied with a brush or causes white sweat dots if you sweat. The powder is very slight and doesn't oxidize on me. The product is distributed by a French company. I took off one star because I am wary of Chinese products. If you remove the plastic sticker, you won't have a problem with spilled or wasted powder.

👤A small sample of e.l.f. I had. I loved the yellow powder but couldn't find it in the store. I use it to set my consealer. I don't find it settlling into fine lines or looking heavy. I think it makes my eyes look better. I don't use it as face powder, but I think if your complexion suits it, you should. It would be a nice setting powder.
