Best Baking Racks Cooling Large

👤I am very disappointed. Within 11 minutes of the oven, the pan warped and twisted. It never did completely change. I was expecting a better price for 34 dollars. This item will definitely be returned.

👤I bought two of these pans to use for Christmas cooking. I spent Christmas eve cooking and baking with these pans. There was a lot of build up in the pans. I baked fish on top of the rack. I loved them! But them. When it was time to clean them, I soaked them in warm water and let them sleep. This is what I woke up to today, as I do with all my pans. My pans are ruined. I have had my 40 dollar pans for 40 years. I loved these pans for 6 hours and then I had to clean them. I'm very disappointed. I wish you a Merry Christmas.

👤I will definitely order another one of these pans. Excellent quality, I love how sturdy this pans is. I checked the Amazon description and it said it was dishwasher safe, but I was hesitant to put it in the dishwasher. I should have washed them with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and dish soap, but they came out with dried spots. I tried and the spots came out. The pan's finish looked scratched. See the picture! Hand wash the pan. There is no clean up if the pan is lined with aluminum foil or parchment paper.

👤The pan and rack are small. I like it. The material rusts because of the rolled in edges that retain water. It leaves brown rust water when I pick it up. I think I will have to return it. It's the perfect size and would be great for baking fish.

👤The pan and rack are heavy, so that's a plus, but there are problems. There is a heavy edge, but there is a gap between the side of the pan and the rim, so you can't really dry it well, so rust will build up over time. The top edge of the pan has rough spots that look like a knife was run over it. There is a spot on the rack edge that is stuck and can not be removed. I haven't cooked it yet, but I think it will be a great pan.

The pan is not holding up the way I expected, but the rack is fine. It works well for cooling and drying out food, but the fit and finish fell apart very quickly. I expected it to be a bit more durable, but maybe there's some user error here, I should have seasoned it or it's not for use with high temperature liquids or foods.

👤The pan/rack set is perfect for me. It was used for drying salted steaks in the fridge. The 1/2 size sheet pan takes up a lot of space. This one is large enough to fit on the top shelf. Excellent quality and weight. It's great for baking and other cooking tasks, if you use it on the small size, and I use it to bake a few sweet potatoes at a time. I would buy again in a heartbeat.

👤Not. After one hand wash, the Rust started. It is chrome plated. Rust starts at joints that are weakest. This one is shiny at the ends of the wire, which is not normal.

👤I wanted to bake the wings in the oven. We were tired of soggy wings and thought lifting them up with the racks would work. Both of the racks have thick wire. They worked well for the wings. They don't fit a regular cookie/baking sheet so I'm only giving four stars. Our pan was too narrow and the rack didn't go flat, but they fit well. We had them where one side was in the pan and the other side was propped up on the lip of the pan, but it worked just fine. It's easy to clean. Definitely recommend.

👤It's just the right size for small batches of baked goods. canisters and small appliances can be moved around on the counter. The grid is large enough to provide good air circulation, but small enough to support cakes and cornbread. Very happy with the purchase.

👤The fine mesh size on the grid keeps small bits from falling through. The wire spacing is 3/8" on the center and there are gaps between them. The diagonal is about 25mm. The drying rack is sturdy. One of the two racks had a slight wobble. The drying rack has less wobble. It is slightly arched instead of flat, this doesn't affect my use, but some might need a flat drying rack. The center is above the edges. It's a standard drying rack for its size. It says it is 8.5" x12", but mine is more like 8 x12". It's not a big deal, it's a convenient size, and I would rather be small than large.

👤I have several expensive roasting pans but lately I have been using the disposable aluminum foil pans these are a perfect fit just what I needed at my age, the extra work of cleaning the grease out of those big pans after baking all afternoon certainly isn't missed.

👤It was cool that order came in much sooner than I anticipated. I use the cooling rack for both cooling and cooking food. They work great and are made of stronger material than the ones I've used before. This product is recommended by me.

👤One use and coating on the grid is peeling off. Not non-stick. It's not easy to clean. I don't want to eat non-stick coating. Don't waste your money on junk.

👤I'm not normally a reviewer, but here I am. The concept is good, a 3-tier expanding cooling rack that collapses to make it compact for storage while providing 3 distinct surface areas for cooling cookies and the like. The item seems to be loved by others here. I'm not enthusiastic about it. It can be difficult to make the locking tabs under the top and bottom rack line up with the bars, but maybe I didn't spend enough time using it to get used to it. It's a little tedious to clean but I could probably get used to it and just deal with it. I had to return the item for a more serious reason. I washed it once before I used it, then washed it again after I used it, and I am already seeing signs of rust. I'm returning it because I want the thing to last and it's already not looking like a promising expectation. I don't know what metal rack-type products are like today, particularly ones that are inevitably going to get wet at some point, either through washing or according to its function, they all seem to rust in relatively short order. This one is not different from the crowd in that regard. If these companies are going to charge fifteen dollars for a metal rack, they need to step up their game in making durable products.

👤This product was opened today. It is used to organize the countertops when the family comes for a big event. The sandwich buns, loaves of bread, and general counter cluttered needs to be better organized. This solution is perfect. Between the shelves is a small area. The loaves of bread have room to spare. Just what we needed. An excellent purchase!

👤There are lots of reviews for stacking cake rack which commented on instability and not being clipped together. The only reviews of this were on Amazon. The shelf is secured on the frame. Well made and sturdy. There were a lot of biscuits and depth between the shelves. I only have a small kitchen so this is a great space saver. It was more expensive, but it was worth it.

👤This product was pretty good. I have baked a lot of things with this pan/rack, and everything has turned out great. I have been using this almost everyday for about two months now, and it has never warped in or out of the oven. The highest temperature I have used it at was 450 F. Very strong. The wire rack is sturdy and can fit inside the pan no matter the temperature. It will scratch. - It will be hard to keep it sparkling. It has brown grease spots. The pan's edges are brown, but I use tin foil in the bottom to catch the juices. It is almost pointless to try and keep it clean, even though there must be a way to get those stains out. I am satisfied with how it performs in cooking my food. Which has been great! In regards to cleaning, I put the wire rack upside down in the pan and pour soapy water in it so that it will soak for at least 30 minutes. I take the wire rack into the sink and use a brush to clean it up, not a sponge or rubber. If you use a sponge scrubber, you can catch it on the edge of the rack and tear it. The brush will reach more areas than the sponge. If you don't care about your pan looking pretty, I would recommend you to get a new one. Good luck!

I didn't have a lot of doubts about the quality, but more of the size I was concerned about, but it fits about a pound and a half of thick cut bacon on here with no problem, and the rack holes are perfect for the bacon not to fall through! I am very pleased with this rack and look forward to many more. When shopping, the empty bacon bag is included.

👤I really wanted to use this product. I was washing for the second time. I washed it when I received it, but didn't use it until I was ready to use it. I wiped the paper towel on the soap I used. The video shows something coming off the tray as I was drying the sheet. I don't think it's food safe to me. I threw away the package I was stuck with.

👤I used this to cook a turkey. The bird turned out well. I received this item and it appears to be bent/warped. The pan is in the middle. I kept it because I needed it to entertain my guests the next day. After the very first use, there were a lot of spots of discoloration that appeared after cleaning.

👤When I picked it up, I was surprised by its heft. It felt heavy so I got a magnet and verified it was aluminum. I think the heft is due to two things. The pan itself is a heavy gage aluminum with a nice robust beaded edge, and within the rolled edge bead my magnet detected what could be a heavy steel wire. A steel wire inside the edge is likely to help stiffen the pan. I'm very pleased with this pan so far. I'll adjust the review once I get used to it.

👤The chrome version was received by some and the black version by others. Here's a heads up. The black version is just a cooling rack and not meant to be used for cooking. It only has 4 legs and the surface is magnetic, so it does not do well in heat. The chrome version is meant to go into the oven, but it is not non-stick like the black one. Don't confuse the two. Half of the reviewers said that the chrome one stuck food, while the other half said the black one peeled off after several uses in the oven. The grill goes all the way across and welded to the frame with only four legs, but it is not stable. A 500g cake sitting in the middle. The rust spots are small now, but I would expect more after use. I wonder if it is made of materials that are safe for food contact. There is a layer of copper between the steel of the wires and the outer plating. The product is rated 1 star because of false advertising. I would give it 4 stars if the rack were made of steel. I like the close wire spacing and it fits my half sheet pan very nicely. The support wires were bent out of shape when I got it. It's not clear if that was due to manufacturing tolerances or shipping. I was able to do it myself.

The chicken was placed on the wire rack and brushed with lite BBQ sauce. 2. There were permanent stains on the pan from BBQ sauce that dripped onto it. The pan was cleaned with soapy cloth. The end of the sponge scrubber is soft after a lot of use. The Americoat coating was scratched off by this. I said very little elbow-grease during cleaning. The reviews should have been listened to. The product is not safe for use and should not be sold on Amazon. Remove this product from Amazon.

👤I think it will help prevent warping by being heavy/solid for the size. It seems to clean up well. I just unwrapped it from the packaging and the coating is rubbing off at 4 of the 6 contact points between the sheet and the rack, the other 2 have rough patches started. The rack had been wrapped in additional cardboard. There are 6 starting points for additional and expedited chipping, and it makes me uneasy.

👤The pan is already garbage and it is unsafe to use it for a long time. If you want a pan for home use that is safe to use for 6 to 11 months, this is the pan for you. The customer was unhappy with the purchase.

This is a review of the Baking Sheets, not a health seminar, so I will simply say that I am eliminating anything that could be contributing to having heavy metals in my system. I am not saying these baking sheets are the cause of my issues, but I will show you why I will no longer be using them. I use these BS twice a day for about two months. When I washed them prior to using them, I noticed that the soap looked gray, because I washed off some of the aluminum. In a rush to use the BS, I noticed some sort of metallic debris on the paper towel, after wiping off excess water with a paper towel. This has been happening after each wash. I was able to fit so much on the tray that I overlooked it. I discovered recently that my body is showing signs of too much heavy metals and I am taking actions to limit them. It took about 3 paper towels to clean up the mess. I've been cooking with these BS since April of this year. I've thrown them away.

👤I ordered Nordicware pans and USA pans at the same time, and used them both for the first time, so there's no difference in age. I baked gingerbread cookies, which were cracked on the Nordicwear pans, and needed a spatula to remove them, but the USA Pan cookies came off without a spatula needed. I can't speak to the wear of either or anything other than these cookies, so take this review as you will.

👤You can roast vegetables under a broiler or at 450 degree F, and cooked-on oil doesn't affect the pan's stickiness. This is all aluminum with steel around the edges so it doesn't warp. The pan is very heavy. My mom gave me an aluminum sheet pan when I moved out on my own. I have been abusing this thing for a decade. My mom had it before me. I have a small family of my own and my husband likes roasted veggies, but I like to make my own food at night. I'm looking for a sturdy one to go with my old beat up one. They would twist or warp over 400 degrees. It didn't seem like the price made a difference. I had cheap and expensive ones. At 400, they went funny. I assumed all pans did that, but I found this one. Actually, two. I now have three pans. I use the old one and the new one for veggies, and the third for baking cookies, so it will stay cleaner and stick free. The metal is really smooth and these are not sticky. These are a good choice if you're afraid of chemicals in your food. To make it easier to remove food from the pan, use a fat.
