The Professional Cross Wire Cooling Rack Half Sheet Pan Grate is a set of two.
👤The wires were attached to the frame of the rack and there were sharp spots. The wires seem to have been cut to size but not deburred, leaving sharp metal ends. One wire had a piece of welding wire still attached. It's not possible to handle these racks without wires. The assembly worker couldn't be bothered to fix the bent frame in one of the racks because they welded the wires offset. It's not a functional issue, but it shows the poor assembly quality. The other rack is not sitting on a flat surface. The center feet are lower than the outer feet, which makes the rack rock back and forth. These are cheap garbage.
👤America's Test Kitchen recommended these and the Nordic Ware sheet pans. According to ATK, the racks were supposed to fit inside the sheet pans. If the sides were square, maybe they would. I got two parallelograms. The wire forming the rack is sharp and therefore caused the brand new pans to be damaged during the fit test. I wouldn't recommend them to others. I will probably send them back because they are not usable.
👤The product has changed a lot since it was tested, but it was recommended by Americas Test Kitchen. The build quality is terrible. The Nordicware halfsheet pan was supposed to be a perfect match for it. It scratched the sides when I tried to put it in my pan. Don't spend your money on a cooling/roasting rack.

There was solder and welding in the middle of the rack that broke when pushed firmly. Imagine if the food was placed on the rack to cool it down. America's Test Kitchen recommended this to me. They dropped the ball. You should buy a rack that isn't going to leave you with cuts, damaged equipment, and chipped teeth.
👤The Libertyware Professional Cross Wire cooling rack was recommended by America's Test Kitchen and I received it 30 days later. Only for cooling. There is no item label or materials used. It could be lead paint. It was made and shipped from China. Unsafe! Trying to get back to Amazon. Don't buy this item from AMAZON.
👤I took the cooling rack out of the package and used one of the two that were left. I cut myself because the edges were rough. The rough patches on the edges of the rack give an impression that it may not be well-made. I threw out the packaging since I already used it, but I'm not sure if I can return for a new one since other people have complained. I would have preferred to go with the #2 instead of the rough edges cooling rack.

I washed it again because I thought it might have leaned against another pan. There was rust around the edges again. I asked for a return and exchange because I realized that mistakes happen. Within a week, I had my second set. I had the same problem. I won't order again. I am disappointed but that is how it goes.

I sprayed the chops with oil over the sink before air frying them. I've read that the pork chops should rest on a rack before being air fryerd, and it was perfect for this. 👤I'm not the cook. I know how to use hardware and tools. My girls told me they didn't have good quality baking equipment so I got this cooling rack. I bought this rack based on positive comments about it from a friend. This thing can be used to beat a man to death. It's heavy, solidly built, won't bend or deform from abnormal use, and does it's job with attitude and an over engineered style. I bought one because I didn't know what I was doing. They have always cleaned up quickly for me with a soapy brush at the sink, and I have never experienced rust issues. They have done a great job for my needs. 👤These are very high quality and strong. They can be used individually or stacked, I have used them to freeze fresh ravioli and casseroles and as a cooling rack for pies. They were a good value and came in a nice box that could be used as a gift.

The rack is thinner and lighter than my other one, and can definitely be bent if you press on both ends, because the feet are not on the ends. It is made from 18/0 steel. It can go as hot as any home oven can get, and is safe under the scurvy. It can hold a Dutch oven and a skillet without bending. The rack would hold up under the weight. I made sweet potato fries and the clean up was good, although I sprayed it with Pam and baked fries don't make a lot of mess. I broiled bacon and chicken wings without spraying them. It was easy to clean after a short soak. I haven't tested it for cooling as I bought it for cooking, and I already have cooling racks that are further from the counter than 1/2 inch. I've seen no rust so far. I think the rack will hold up well for baking. I'll update the review if that changes.
👤I bought 2 for my mom. I don't like the quality. The wires are thin and the spacing is not even. The weld is dirty. I had to remove the metal object from one of the racks after it poked me a few times. It is much better and less expensive than the one I bought previously. It will do the job, but I expected more. Disappointing.
