Best Baking Racks Cooling Small

👤I usually bake bacon in the oven, but when the old baking rack fell off, I went looking for a new one. After about a month of use, I can say that I am completely satisfied with them. The most annoying thing about my previous baking racks was the fact that they were dirty after I baked bacon. My previous rack had a grid of wires and bacon that got stuck in the corners. The lack of a grid, the greater distance between wires, and the thicker wires make cleaning them easy. I don't think the rack loses much strength, although I'm not sure if it would support a half-sheet-sized fruitcake or roast, I imagine most cakes.

👤The manufacture claims that the cooking rack have a mirror finished surface that makes for easy clean up. They are easy to clean and heavy duty. I've bought two sets with no regrets because the price keeps going up. The first set was priced at fifteen dollars and the second set was twenty dollars. They're currently a dollar more than that. If you want to buy a set soon, you'd better hurry because they might be at $499.99.

👤There are no welding problems with the backing racks, they are easy to clean, and there is no sharp edges so they are safe. I don't expect them to rust in the future because they appear to be non ferrous. They fit nicely in my baking trays and they did not bend in the oven. If I ever run into problems with the racks, I will update this review, but so far I am loving them.

👤I purchased these racks for the purpose of roasting chicken, ribs, and other meats so that they wouldn't sit in the fat drippings. I see no rust on the racks. The description claims they are rustproof. So far, so good! I have used them 3 times, and would recommend them to others.

👤I was looking for something that was well made. They fit perfectly on my sheets. I have eaten chicken and steak. It will be great for that, but I haven't used it as a cooling rack yet. It is easy to clean up.

👤If you want a cooling rack that is non-magnetic, but not heavy duty, then you should buy the 3 piece set. The feet are placed too far inward from the edge of the cooling rack, which is my biggest issue with these. They are unstable because of their design and can easily be moved around when used as a steaming rack. Smaller items can easily fall through the wires.

I have not used them yet, but they will keep jars away from the metal of the pot. When I got these, they were in a box. But... That's it. They were wrapped in a thin plastic bag. That's it. There was no paper that said it was machine-washable. It looked like it was just a few racks thrown into a plastic bag. I like to have a little paper that gives a few guidelines for the basics. I like being a bit lazy and throwing things in the dishwasher. This had nothing. A plastic bag.

👤I can't remember how long my mother had the cooling rack. I had more oblong ones than round ones. I became obsessed with finding round ones after being married for 45 years. I found them when I went to Amazon. They are perfect! Well constructed, and finally found round cooling racks.

The rack was able to fit into a cookie sheet so I could bake things without having to flip it over. I have had other cooling racks and they are not as sturdy as this one. There are dents in the grid that look like someone bent the squares out with scissors. The counter is not flat, but it does not sit perfectly flat. Does not think it will fall apart soon.

👤I received a set of two, but both had broken welds. These are not high quality. A replacement set was shipped in hopes the broken welds were a mistake. There were two broken welds on one rack in the new set. It doesn't seem like a fair deal to me for a flimsy rack with broken welds. These will be returned. You can find another brand.

Customer service is live. I had a problem before. Unheard of this day and time. The racks are great. It fit perfectly in my pan and cookie sheet. It's perfect to have two racks. I can cook with one and use the other to cool things. Very strong. They had a bath in the dishwasher and did well. Highly recommend this product.

👤The metal didn't get smoothed out. I cut my hand when I took the package out. One doesn't want to end up with sharp metal in their food. Send them back immediately.

👤I don't like using metal rack for a recipe because they are hard to clean. I bought these racks because they are made up of tiny squares and are easier to get between. I tested them when I made bacon. All of the ingredients are cooked to a crisp. You couldn't find anything more sticky. The first rack and pan should be washed with soap. Everything had come off and the only thing required was a light. I let the pan and rack soak for a few minutes. The baked on crud came off with one or two small marks on the rougher side of the sponge. I was amazed. The baking sheet took a lot of grease to get clean. These rack fit my quarter size baking pans perfectly, are heavy enough for most foods, and were nicely priced. I am impressed with the durability so far.

👤The wires came out after just one use of the rack. What? This is a very dangerous hazard. One of the side screws came loose and can easily scratch counter tops. It isn't easy to open and close it. It takes some muscling and maneuvering to get it in place. It is easy to lose the pieces that hold the rack in the correct height. I wish it would have worked, but it seems like a failed product to me. I will return it.

👤I found this cooling rack at the perfect time for the holiday. This baby is going to be put to the real test this week because Thanksgiving is this week. We are going to use it for pies and anything else we make, however I have already used it to cool a few dozen cookies. It has a lot of space with 4 full size racks. The space in between each rack can be adjusted. It is very easy to set up and take down, and folds up nicely to store away. This is a must have for a baker. I have considered using it as a drying rack because I am a crafter. I think it would work well. This is a great item to have on hand.

👤Each time, used one time. Pork chops are baked on them. They were cleaned and the paint coating came off. The coating was really bad. The rack was a nice fit.
