Best Baking Racks Cooling Stackable

👤It's half an inch tall. I don't know why it's advertised that way. I was looking for one that is 1 inch tall. I knocked off two stars for that misleading information. It feels cheap and flimsy, but it seems adequate. I was thinking about getting another one, but I won't.

👤I bought the 11.5” square Hotspot counter protectors from Amazon, and this rack is the perfect size for them. The rack is used for the resting period for food that has been cooked in a hot air fryer. I chose this rack over others because it is not prone to rust.

I've run them through many times and they've never rusted. I put baking paper on the rack to keep things from falling through. 👤I haven't used the rack yet. I got them a short time ago. I wanted to see how they stood. Two of the racks are a little bit odd, but can be folded up or individually standing on my countertop if I want to. If enough pressure or weight is placed on the edges of the middle and top rack parts, they can tilt either way. The space between the shelves is the best part. The space between the shelves is adverised. It's enough for me to reach for something with my hand. The space between the countertop and the first rack shelf is enough for me to put a 35 year old smaller rack under it and use it as a fourth shelf. The counter has 4 inches of space, while the individual standing shelf has 10 inches. They seem to be very good and will meet my needs.

👤Yesterday I used two of these to cook a meal. Genius. These were very helpful. I have a double oven and I was able to cook multiple pies and side dishes at the same time because the turkey took up all the space in one oven. The rack is still new. The purchase solved the problem of needing another rack. I was going to buy another rack from the appliance parts store, but it was too expensive. The racks are an excellent alternative.

I found mine to be very stable. I use mine as a rack for cookie sheets rather than as a cooling rack for individual cookies. The cookies I bake are small and fall through the grid. 👤I think the cooling rack is a good value. They are easy to clean. Smaller cookies can fall through if not placed carefully. It's important to leave a little space along the side so you can easily add another tier. You can nicely store them without taking up a lot of space.

👤I have been buying Wilson products for years and years. I received these cooling sandals. It was likely that someone had placed it. Something heavy is on the box. It was mangled on one end. I couldn't open the apartment when it was open. I worked. And worked. They wouldn't come a part. Finally, they did. They weren't level and were very sickly. I would like to say that they were undamaged before they were damaged. I don't think so. I bought another set at the same time and had no issues with them. At the very least. SORRY. That is. The way it was.

👤I couldn't have done it better if I had designed what I needed. The roasting pan is a perfect fit for this rack. The V rack has wide bars that make it hard for the prime rib to bend. The problem is solved by the close spacing bars on this rack. It's sturdy enough for a 6 pound prime rib. No idea what it will be like to clean. I think it will be easy. Very pleased with the rack.

👤I bought a square rack. It is well coated for non stick action. Others say it is heavy gauge metal. The bar is running in the middle. It's nearly impossible to bend, even carrying it in with one hand. It's four metal feet and there's a gap between them. It can straddle a circler 8.75" electric burner on a flat top electric range. If you wanted to keep the food inside warm, you could leave the pan above the burner, which is still warm. Only the "3 Tier" comes with more than one rack per order.

👤I've only used this twice but I can tell it beats my old cooling rack. I decided to get something that is strong and easy to clean instead of cooling items that are hard to clean. I'll probably get another one to stack when I'm really doing a lot of baking because this one so far is doing a great job.

👤I wanted to do a water bath in the oven. It is very strong to hold the whole recipe. I tested it more for other purposes. It's like making french fries. It requires a grill to cook it evenly. The same concept is used with baked fried chicken. I have failed many times trying to make the perfect French fries, so I didn't expect much. It came out better than I anticipated. The potatoes didn't stick on the grill. I was impressed. My daughter said it tasted like McDonalds. See the video. Clean up is easy since nothing sticks to this cooling rack. I washed it and the grease was wiped away. I did air dry it, and I have not seen any rust. It is a bit pricey. The cooling rack is sturdy and multi-purpose, with the results I had have. I will use it a lot. I saw good results when I took the risk. I highly recommend!

👤The rack is not durable and I was hoping it would last. The "gold/ pinkish" finish is chipping off all over the rack. Not happy with the material in our food. A teflon coating? I'm not sure what the finish is, but I'm not happy with this item. I use a soft sponge to wash my hands. It's not my actions that caused this to peel away. It was fine for a few months, but after that the finish is coming off.

👤This cooking rack is gorgeous. My husband bought it as a Christmas gift. He gave me it early. It is easy to assemble and it is very durable. It was great having space for all of the pies. I used to own the Wilton brand, but I threw it out when I used this one. There is a huge difference between the two. The Betty Crocker one is better than the other one. This cooling rack is recommended by me. It will last a long time. I want to buy another one because I like it so much. More cooling rack means more goodies.

👤It's of good quality, but it depends on what you're using it for. It's a waste of space to use it for cookies. I use the ones from wilton with less space in the middle that are stackable andremovable without hassle. It's really good for pies, but this Betty crocker is cumbersome and time consuming to put together in the middle of your cupcake or cookie baking.

👤This is great on design. It can carry a lot of weight. My problem is getting this out of the box. The diagram doesn't give proper instructions. Don't despair. There are black plastic end ties. You can put it together after you cut them. I made pictures to help with assembling this. You will love it once it's done.

👤I bought this to hold my baking sheets of cookies as I take them out of the oven so the cookies can cool before I put them on a plate, in a box, etc. After putting the cookie sheet on the top two rack, I was concerned that it wasn't built well enough to hold up to how I planned to use it. You have to wait for the cookies to cool a bit before you transfer them to this rack, but by that time they are cooled enough to not need a cooling rack. It would be one more thing to clean.

👤The rack I have is not as pictured. It was not as pictured and the instructions did not match up to the construction of the rack. I found a way to assemble this difficult item after a lot of research. I was not the only one who experienced this and luckily there were some kind souls who posted the instructions on how to assemble this item. I have a local baking store that sells better cooling racks that are easy to assemble, sturdy, and have clear cut instructions. The shelving is not strong because it was warped upon receipt. I'm disappointed that my off brand baking racks are not as good as they could be. Absolutely disappointment.

This is worth considering if you are baking in large batches or have limited space. You should be able to fit regular sized cupcakes but not big muffins or cupcakes with a lot of icing because there isn't a lot of space between layers.

👤I like to make my own bread and pizza. Pizza needs to cool on a rack. This is perfect. It is a single rack. I would only need to hold 2 pizzas if you open it up. Very nice. The bread is exceptional. I usually make up a bunch of dough. I have two hot pans and two pitas. They need to go on a rack after they come off the pan. In the past I tried to use an oven rack, but ran out of room, so each Pita cooks for about 3 - 4 minutes, far shorter than the amount of time needed to dry them. It was difficult to fit all the pitas onto the oven rack. It worked, but it was a mistake. I put a couple on the bottom layer, then a couple on the next layer, and two more on the top layer. Three layers hold all the pitas. When the cooking is done, I give 15 - 20 minutes more cooling, then all the pitas can go into a bag and into the freezer. It was perfect. The bag doesn't get a lot of ice, the pitas don't freeze up hard, and it's just right. If you make your own Pita, you'll know that it's not safe to eat for 2 days because it's been made with Preservatives. It is important that the pitas are dry before they are frozen. This is the right rack for this. If you want to increase the recipe to 24 pitas, you can do 12 on the rack and then replace the old ones with the new ones by the time you are ready to do 13 and 14. You can make as many pitas as you want without having to store more rack space. For most home makers, 12 is enough. I can use it as a single layer for pizza. It's perfect for anything that needs to be cooled down. Price was correct. It is made in China. Good luck finding anything like this. The U.S. manufacturers couldn't compete and so they set up Chinese factories. American labor is more expensive. If you want to let the Chinese take the extreme low wages for manufacturing jobs, think about getting an education and doing the smart work. I worked in manufacturing for a while. It makes you hate yourself. Let them do it.

👤My need for curing soaping for four weeks grows as my love for it grows. I'm impatient. They seemed like they might be the ticket. They are sturdy and can be used in many ways, but that makes them more versatile. I can use them for more than one thing. A locking mechanism for the legs would make them perfect and rate 5 stars. The legs swing freely if they are stacked. The soaps can be tipped over if they are standing on edge. It's worth an extra star for added stability. I could see how misfortune could happen when a rack is re-positioned and something hot on it slides off as the rack is lifted. 3 stars is not a criticism, but a recognition of the nature of the beast, and as far as " easy to clean" is concerned, there is no such thing.

👤I ruined my wife's cooling rack but she liked it. I found the same thing as her other ones. I ruined the other ones by using them in my smoker and using super clean. Teflon came off when I sprayed the clean on them. I have used these without any problems. It's easy to clean and double the size of my smoker. My wife is happy because we can put them all in the cabinet without taking up a lot of space. Trust me, get these without Teflon. You will be happy.

👤I have a small Traeger smoker, so I had to shorten it by 1 inch. I can now load in more meat. It's useful for cuts that are flat. The dishwasher can clean these heavy-duty racks.

👤I owned and used items for a while. At least once a week. I bought these to put into the steel oven pans that I've owned for years. I want to be able to cook certain foods in the oven. I was hoping that I could use a second rack place to get the length I wanted while also being able to place a steel lid to minimize grease splatter and not have it contact food. I expected it to reduce what I call the sludge factor. The rack I ordered was made of STAINLESS STEEL and was designed to help with ease of cleaning. There is a small amount of bacon that is frees easily, but I have yet to remember to pre-spray. I wipe food off with a paper towel when I soak in soap water. I use a nylon brush to wash. All food items are removed from the rest of the rack parts when the brush gets into the small areas where the folding rack legs are attached. No rust or any other discoloration should be noted. Highly recommend.

👤I used these racks to fit into my portable roaster and cook my ribs for 5 hours at 250 degrees. The rack fit perfectly. I cut the ribs into three-rib serving sizes and seasoned them before cooking them, they all fit onto the stacked rack, and the ribs turned out perfect! The roaster's top rack is extended so it is very sturdy and easy to clean. They're perfect for multiple dishes and take up little space when stacked. I'm very happy I bought them.

👤I paid top dollar for these two pans and I was expecting good quality for this item. The pans twist a few minutes after you put them in the oven. You can hear it in the house. You can't make brownies with these pans.

👤These were great. I love the stackability of the cooling racks. The kids can easily grab whatever they want from the stacks on my table. When stacked, the cooling rack height is more than enough for cooling bread rolls and cakes. There is enough room for you to place or remove items without having to unstack again. The baking sheets are very easy to clean and clean easily.

👤I edited my review because I was contacted by the seller about my disappointment. It is still not a pan. I would buy again, as the pans should hold up. I am very pleased with the customer service. They suggested preheating the pan in the oven or using a lower temperature to prevent warping, but I shouldn't have to with a pan.
