Best Baking Ramekins 8 Oz

👤These don't stack. You can pile them up, but see the picture. Stacking means putting one atop the other and they will stay orderly. Would you claim them as "stackable drunks" if you put one drunk guy on top of another? You wouldn't. The dishes arrived in good shape. I'm returning because of non-stackableness.

👤These were bought to replace broken dishes. I like these. The packaging was stylish, secure and minimal, and the quality of the ramekins was very nice. They feel a little more sturdy than my old ones, but they feel like a lighter weight. The creme brlée I made cleaned up nicely.

It works for me, but others may want to keep that in mind. I haven't had a chance to cook with them yet, but they seem to be of good quality. You can put 2 or 3 in a stack without having to worry about falling. I'm impressed with these dishes.

👤The souffle dishes are what I wanted. The set of 6 was broken into many pieces and one had a small black line on the rim. I received a prompt response after contacting the replacement email with photos of breakage and defect. They don't replace individual items without returning the whole set. I accepted their offer of a 50% discount because I needed 5 of them for this week. I wish more companies sent replacements for individual pieces that were damaged in the set.

👤The set arrived undamaged. The souffle dishes seem to be of excellent quality, even though I only used them once so far. The dishes are easy to clean and have a classic shape. I used the set in the oven, popped them in the fridge after cooking, and then turned to High Broil with no issues. I put them in the dishwasher without rinsing first and they came out clean, even though I have a decent dishwasher and use a good detergent. If you are looking for a classic set of souffle dishes, look no further.

👤There are cute little ramekins. Cute colors. Love them all. They are great for mixing and matching topping for cheese boards. It's great for food prep, just the right size to hold your onions and garlic, if you cook like they do on tv. Mini souffles for dinner parties! A great purchase and a great value.

We ordered these because we found 2 that were not enough. The fit of the star is not as good as I would want, so they can slide or wobble when handled, which is a problem since they do stack as shown in the picture. We are pleased with the product.

👤These are barely 4 ounces and the description says they're 6 ounces. Cleaning will be difficult because they are rough and unfinished on the bottom. The worst thing is that there is no mention of microwave, oven, freezer or dishwasher safe on the ramekins. This is probably the first thing I've bought on Amazon that I'm not happy with. 👤I was looking for something that was perfect and these were it. I needed some 5 or 6 ounce ramekins to bake creme caramel/flan in and these fit the bill. They were packaged securely and there was nothing broken when they arrived. I can't wait to bake more things with them.

Longer version As I've been cooking more at home given safer-at- home orders, I finally hit a point where I wanted a good set of ramekins, both for desserts and as handy dishes for ingredient prep when preparing meals. This looked like a great deal so I ordered a set Box and opened it. The ramekins were well packed and there was no damage to them. A smaller ramekin is nested inside a larger one to help protect them in transit. There is a note inside that says if there is damage during shipping, they will take care of it. I didn't have an issue with them breaking in transit, but there was a small one stuck inside the larger one. I was able to get them apart after getting some soap to help, and I discovered that the ramekin was not circular, but more oval, which caused it to stick in there. I contacted Dee Coo and let them know that I had some pictures to give them. They immediately offered to send another set for free to make it right. They told me to keep the other set after I verified my shipping address. It has been great to cook in them. I've made chocolate lava cakes and salted caramel custard. I've used them to put things in while cooking, such as an egg, so I can pour it into the cast iron skillet. No thanks. I put them in a cupboard with three-ish high ceilings to store them since they wash well in the dishwasher. I took a little bit of a gamble, but in the end, these are very nice, I've enjoyed cooking with them, and am thankful for the fast resolution to the small issue I had. I'm looking forward to making lots of delicious things in them.

👤I was looking for a set of ramekins to use in the Instant Pot and found this set. There are 8 ounces of ramekins. I didn't realize they would be useful in so many ways throughout the day, but I couldn't be happier with them. They were packaged well by the seller and included information on how to contact them if there was a break in the shipping process, and I have them in our cupboard. Highly recommended.

👤Some of the ramekins had strands of plastic fused into them when they arrived, which makes me question their quality. I removed the plastic before using them, and haven't noticed any problems with the material since. The bottoms don't fit into the tops because they are shaped differently. The price and the fact that they work make them seem okay.

The wire rack with handles matches the water bath bottom pan perfectly, that can keep bowls evenly heated above the water line well. You don't need to use potholders to lift the rack out after the dessert is done. I give this product a 4-star rating.

👤Every year I make crme brulee for Thanksgiving. This year will be easier since I have this set. In the past it was my baking pan with water that caused the ramekins to not stay in place. I don't have a problem with moving or shifting. The pan is the right size for the 6 ramekins. There is less chance of baking if the ramekins are held a few centimeters above the water. Everything seems to have been made well. Nonstick in case you want to use the pan for something else, a well welded rack, and 6 very nice ramekins. It's easy to clean up.

👤Not what I was expecting. The ramekins are small. I was expecting them to be a little thicker. They are very thin. Hold about 6 ounces. You get yellow and white. The holder is the most robust item. I want something that is easy to clean. It says it comes with a cookbook. It's on the back of the box. It is only a recipe for 2 portions. It does what it says it will. I wish the ramekins were stronger. They didn't think they would be easy to break.

👤If you can get them not broken, these are great. 3 of the sets were broken. Returned and got a new one. I should have waited and swapped some of the first batches with the second. Do this if you end up in the same situation. It worked like a charm and made a beautiful Brule.

👤I like the glaze color, but it's not rustic. I make fruit crisps here a lot. You can put four in the oven and have a dessert in 20 minutes. I put Saran wrap on them and kept them in the fridge. I let it sit outside of the fridge for a few minutes and then microwave it. They do well in the dishwasher. I love how pretty they are.

👤Buying the same size ramekins is a true casse-tte. I ordered a set of 6 nice ones. There is a capacity 8oz. I couldn't keep them because their diameter was smaller, their height was higher, and they were effectively 8oz. The quality was great. They were sold at an interesting price. If one had the chance to find a lid that would fit, a ring inside as an ornament would be the only thing left. That is an idea. They were also white. I returned them for the reason mentioned above, but if you are looking for dessert, think of these ones.

👤These are what I wanted. They hold 1/3 cup water. These little cups are filled to the brim when you put a full cup of water in them. I have not tried baking with them yet. I will probably change my rating if they don't work for that. I would use caution if I put them in the microwave because there are no markings that say they are safe. If the container gets hot but the food doesn't, that means it's not microwave safe. I can't remember where I learned that. You may want to fact check rather than take my word for it.

👤I wanted to serve salsa and queso fundido. They are the perfect size and will work well. I like that they are dishwasher safe. They aren't packed well. There is a lot of foam around the dishes, but only thin sheets between them. One of my 6 was broken. If you need 6 or more, I would order more than necessary.

👤Only two of the six ramakins I received were worth keeping. I was getting ready to start the dishwasher when I received these, and I was going to pick up household recycling the next day. You can guess where I'm going. I opened the box and popped the ramakins into the dishwasher and then recycled the box they had come in. I discovered that four of the six ramakins had manufacturing defects when I emptied the dishwasher the next day. I couldn't sand the pottery glumps off. I threw them in the garbage. The material would scratch marble or granite countertops and tear up any wood surface. Sorry. I can't recommend this product.
