This product was the most affordable, it came on time, the packaging was secure, and the ring is sturdy. I was able to use it with minimal effort. It worked great for my cake, as I forgot to take a photo before I took off the ring, but it came up over the bottom two layers and held everything together until it was time to serve. Because the ring is changeable, cake can get between the metal layers, so you have to clean it. The ring size adjustment can be accomplished with the help of the clamp, but it requires you to hold it just right, which earns it a solid 4 stars. The seller is my biggest pet peeve. The seller will bombard you with emails after you buy the product, trying to get you to review it. It makes me nervous that the product isn't really any good and I don't understand why they are trying so hard. I think it's a good cake ring for an amateur baker like myself, and it's worthy of a review on its own merits, not because the seller is pushy.

It is less than the minimum requirement of 12 cm. They can't be accurate in their descriptions so people don't buy the wrong thing. We know exactly what the measurement is if we put 16 cm - 30 cm. It was frustrating.

In the episode of "Cake", the contestants made the most beautiful cake using a cake mold and cellophane so that the finished product was a cake with its beautiful layers of custard and fruit were visible on all sides. I was inspired to bake my granddaughter a cake like that. I found a perfect cake mold on Amazon that is extendable or collapsible, depending on the size of cake one wants to make. The mold served its purpose well and the cake turned out perfectly. I bought a mold that will allow me to make the size of cake I want, rather than having to go out and find a pan. I am very happy with the outcome of my purchase, it was a great investment, well constructed, easy to use, and easy to clean.

👤I bought this item to try out the masking technique for cakes, and I am very happy that you can adjust it so easily. I was worried that the circle might not be round when I adjusted the diameter for bigger cakes. I masked a seven inch and 10 inch cake and the clear and sharp edges spoke for themselves. The cake ring should have sheets inside. It works well for taller cakes when used with acetate sheets. Highly recommend it for its ease of use and hassle free cleaning.

I paid a few dollars more for this set from Kayaso because of the claim that these were fully welded and the fact that the item images for this product appear to have fully welded. I received rings with edges that have been welded across the joint. I can assure you that this is not a fully welded seam. If you are looking for cutter rings that will give you perfect cuts with no edge deformation, I would avoid these and buy a brand from a company that understands quality control and knows the difference between fully welded and spot welded. The dimensions on these were larger than the actual cutting edge because they were measured across the top of the cutter to give a gripping surface. The published dimensions for each ring are smaller than the 4.5 inch cutter. The set was made from quality material and the storage container is nice for keeping the set together.

👤I couldn't replace the lid on the case because the metal is cheap and frail, and the fit is so tight that I'll either throw out the largest ring or put the lid back on. I wish I'd gone for the higher-quality cutter.

👤The HomyFeel cutters were better than I had ordered. I would have ordered two of the HomeFeel if I had known. The group rattled around in the tin, but they must have been thicker than the same number of cutters and tin.

👤I really like these sturdy cutter. There are many different sizes of circles that can be used for more than just cookie cutters. They were used to make perfect veggie burgers. They can be used for short stack food forms, burgers, cookie/biscuit cutter, fried/scrambled egg forms, cutting cake for graduated and regular mini stacked cakes. I think there are many possibilities. The storage can is great for a small kitchen. I got some cute cookie bags with green monster faces. I like the packaging. The can was inside a brown cardboard box and the can label was printed on brown card stock, which appears to be made of recycled materials. There is no plastic in the packaging.

👤These rings are made with smooth seams and a solid rolled edge, and they sit on the griddle very flat. I used shortening to make sourdough crumpets. The crumpets were stuck in the rings and it was difficult to cook the top side. I had to use a sharp knife to get around them. I will try oil on the rings next time. I oiled the rings with vegetable oil after trying the crumpets again. Same problem! The crumpets were in the rings. I advise you to buy non-stick rings.

It's not worth the time. Just flip and they will wash themselves. If you don't grease them a lot, you may need to soak them. The crumpets are either sweet or salty.

They are shipped in clear plastic bags. You do the math. Almost every ring mold was damaged in some way. I had to spend a lot of time trying to fix the problem, but an item like this should be shipped in an Amazon box.

I cooked them in an electric skillet that had inconsistent temp, so it wasn't the best control, but they were pretty good crumpets. I will make them again on the stove top in a regular skillet. I am happy I have these rings since they did exactly as I anticipated. I could have used 6, but I did not.

👤My wife and I have been using 1/2 box of Jiffy mix, 1 egg, 1/2 can creamed corn, a hand full of shreadded cheddar cheese, pepper and a pinch of salt. Grease the rings with a spray non-stock if you mix it all up. When you like the color of the tops, remove the mixture from the oven at 400 degrees. It should be 20 to 25 minutes. The rings are easy to pull off, and there is little to clean up. Enjoy.

The intersecting side. It's odd. When do round objects need a second diameter measurement? I didn't check the size in the description. It could have been avoided if the description had been changed to 3 W x 1.75 H.

👤There are four rings and one pusher-tapper in the set. They appear to be perfectly circular without any joints. The set I received is only circular and each ring has a folded seam-joint. These are made from folding a sheet and tack-joining the edge, not from a circular hollow cylinder. The food and juices can enter the joint and make your cuisine look distorted. Between use, be prepared to clean these thoroughly. I am worried that these joints may rust over time. The product was well packaged.
