Best Baking Roller Cutter

👤A handy and reasonably priced bunch of goodies! When handling dough that is difficult to bake, a non-stick rolling pin can be cooled in the freezer ahead of time. You can get whatever thickness you need with the plastic rings. The large, clean, non-stick surface of the silicone mat makes it easy to clean. The dough scraper and dough cutter are non-stick and have the same measurement on them. The set of cake smoothers allows you to make iced cakes with either a smooth surface or patterned one. What else would you like? Maybe someone will bake for you.

👤I noticed that one of the red rings is 3mm larger than the other one. I am not sending the whole set back, just for this, and it's not a big deal for me. I will check to see if I can get a set of rings. I am looking forward to making pasta from scratch tonight because the whole set is very nice.

👤This is a great product. It does everything that is advertised. The shipping container is beyond expectations. I need a half inch adjustment for certain items. I couldn't find two 1/2” wheels for the roller. There is currently no way to make affordable plastic wheels with a 3D printer.

👤What a great idea. I have been able to keep the dough on both sides. The different sizes of rings make me happy. Enjoy using the additional items in the bundle. If the items were bundled together, they probably wouldn't have purchased them. I have used them all and found them useful.

👤It's a nice kitchen tool. I wouldn't recommend submerging it in water. It's not water tight so it will fill up. The mat and other tools are plastic and can get ruined easily, so they wouldn't rely on them.

👤Everything was perfect until I tried to use it and discovered that one of the pieces I needed the most was in a different size. I only got the 2mm and the other one has the same color but is 3mm. I needed that measure for my cookies, because I couldn't use it. I can't use the roller pin, so at the end it was a waste of money. I didn't need all those things and everything else is perfect. I haven't been able to use this.

👤This Dough Roller is not 14 inches long, which makes it a big difference when rolling items that need to be at least 14 inches in diameter. The rod should be described as suitable for projects less than 13-14 inches.

👤It works, but with limitations. You need to tease the dough apart before you cut it. Under the dough, you can put a little sponge like mat. The results were impressive and I think it's useful in the box.

👤The rolling pin is small but works well. You need to press harder to see the imprint on the dough. You can overlap a little to have a continued pattern if you learn to roll only once. I use this for my cut out cookies. The dough gets stuck into the design when I flour the rolling pin. I can use the decorative design all year long. I clean up quickly.

👤The size is very small. The squares are so small that you can either have a small cookie or a large cookie. It doesn't work well. You don't get an impression.

I have no problem making clear patterned cookies even though the engraving is beautiful and deep. I already have a lot of bigger cookie cutters. I think that's correct. I like the lemon sugar tea cookies that the seller prepared. It is one of my smart buys.

👤The pin is very strong and can be used for a long time. It made a nice impression on the dough when rolling, no matter what design it was. The instructions on how to prepare it for the first time are the only complaint I have. The instructions say to soak it in water for several hours and then use cooking oil to season it. It's not wise to soak wood for long periods of time. This opens the door for wood splitting and warping. Second, cooking oil will oxidize. Don't soak the wood in water, use a wood cutting board conditioner or mineral oil.

👤I should have bought the 90 dollar version from the professional supply company. The basic construction of the item is flawed, so the wheels don't touch the cutting board. The dough doesn't cut into a usable lattice. Someone can use this wall hanging kitchen art piece as a ruse to cook. The price is cheap. The situation is ironic and pathetic because the item is very well built, but it was built to be bought by a factory that doesn't care about its function. This is the real price of cheap goods. There is more junk in the landfills.

👤I liked the product and I think it is sturdy. My beef looked great. This works best when the dough is cold and you need to press down as you roll as you can only roll once. If you can practice on a scrap of dough before rolling the final piece, you can get the hang of it. I'm looking forward to using it again.

👤I really wanted to use this product. It is well made and heavy duty. I made my own pie crust, even though I tried to push it down. It is too difficult to cut every single slit with a knife. The dough is too soft to lift up. I made lattice pattern strips using my ravioli cutter. So disappointed. Maybe a store bought pie dough would have been better.

They aren't sharp enough to cut the dough when they don't turn, and with no turning it makes a big mess. I tried on doughs from.25 to.64 in thickness. The dough wouldn't cut or the wheels wouldn't turn. It's cheap and doesn't work. Don't waste your money.

👤I thought it would work better for the price. The cutting blades are hard to remove. You have to hold down the ends when rolling the dough. The cuts are even and there are different shapes for the edges. It's easy to clean, but wouldn't work for high volume usage.

I had to use the flimsy hand-held ravioli wheel that was included in order to cut my pasta because of the lines made by the bicicleta. The hand-held ravioli wheel has a couple of chips on the smooth blade, which would get caught and get against my pasta board while cutting. I was able to make garganelli by cutting 1 1/4" squares of pasta with these tools, but I felt that the bicicleta's ineffectiveness doubled my effort in completing the task. I ordered the Ateco 5-wheel dough divider, which arrived today, after I discarded the things. The Ateco is much stronger, more solid and heavier than before. If you want to invest more, you should buy a tool that will last longer.

Measure out the size you want and set the gadgets by fastening the screws on the little wheels, you are ready to cut! The product is easy to clean and sturdy. The tool is a bunch of little pizza cutter side by side that you can adjust. I highly recommend it.

👤The nuts fell off when I took it out of the box, after I took the wheel cutter a few minutes to figure out how to extend it. It worked well once I figured it out. The cutter is a little wobbly, but it didn't stop me from having great results. I enjoy it so much that I try to find excuses to not use it. The product was good for the price.

👤This is a great tool. It opens and closes in a straight line. It would be nice if the bolts that hold the wingnuts had some type of knurling so they wouldn't turn while you tighten up the wing nuts, but with enough pressure on the screw head, the wing nuts tighten enough. 👤It looks good when it comes out of the box. The metal it is made from is very flimsy and if you put pressure on it while cutting it it will bend. The locks to lock in the spacing come loose very easily and quickly, making it hard to maintain even cuts. If you're a home baker, it's fine if you use it occasionally, but not for professional use.

The dough stuck to the pins. The pin has a Silicone sleeve over it, so not sure how well it will hold up over time if you use it a lot. I would imagine something would get under there. I will return it. This isn't the set for you if you need something to make pie crusts or roll outs.

👤Like the brushes and the mat. I didn't use the small rolling pin. I used the pin twice. The first time I used it, it was too small. I should have looked at the measurements more carefully. The cover moved away from the edge during the first wash because it isn't set. The dishwasher is not in the sink. I removed it because I couldn't get it back on there. It isn't strong enough to roll certain types of dough. This kind of pin is not good when you have to roll a lot. A wooden one would have done better. They don't suggest dishwashing because it "dries off the wooden handles", but I thought, I don't care about the handles and dishwashed it the following time I used. It's full of water. They didn't say not to wash it because it would fill up with water, but they did say not to do it because the handles would dry out. I need a new pin. I'm thinking of a wooden one.

👤I was looking for a 12 inch rolling pin, which was the measurement of the actual rolling part, but this is 12 inches from end to end of the handles. It's very light weight and takes a lot of rolling and pressure for stiff dough like noodles but it works, although I don't know how long it will last. The small rolling pin and cookie cutter will be great for a 6 year old to play with.

The small spatula can be used to get the last bit of peanut butter or shortening. Everything is easy to clean.
