Best Baking Set Glass

👤The blade grinder that I purchased is starting to go out. I decided to take a chance on the refurbished model because of the reviews and price. As time allows, I will be updating. This is not a conical burr grinder. It is a burr grinder. The burr grinder is not more expensive. The price and performance of the two are vastly different. Don't deal with it. The grinder does not have a classification. Fines will be made. It is life. Don't deal with it. I know industrial size reduction from the chemical engineer here. It's a function of time between the plates that I expect a reasonable grind with about 5-10% fines. What a difference in grind! Wow. It is much more consistent in the grind. I could taste the difference. Smoother, less bitter. The appliance is large. It is not going into a cabinet to hide. I had to find counter space. I ground a pot of coffee with the grind adjustment set to medium-fine. The grinder is loud. Time to wake up! It isn't loud. The grounds were in a bin. I removed the bin, tapped it a few times to get the grounds to settle, and poured it into a filter. There was a small amount of fines left on the plastic due to static cling. I did not analyze it. It was much less expensive than a blade grinder. I put the cover back in the unit. The bin safety switch contacts and there is a click. I looked at the grinding plates. It was cleaned easily. It will be a once-per-week chore. It's a great grinder for the money so far. It's better than any blade grinder I've used. The May 15 update is still great. A pot worth daily was grinded. The cups are worth a lot of money daily. Awesome grinder! July 8, 2017: keeps on going. Each day there are 10 cups. It grinds very well.

👤The motor of the grinder stopped running after only 6 months of normal use. I have never had a break after purchase of a refurbished product. There is an update. After talking to Cuisinart, I found out that there is no warranty for refurbished models, so I removed the Hopper and cleaned the burrs. I removed the bottom and realized there was a switch by the catch container. It works now. The 2 year warranty with manual does not apply to refurbs, and you should remove the burrs every so often. The lid to the grounds container keeps the static mess contained better than the lower line capresso or baratza burr grinder, which costs over $100.

👤The seller was great. It's all you need with fast shipping and safe packaging. I was asked to get a grinder similar to the one we used before, which made awesome coffee, and I always got it. The first two pages of my search are occupied by over-reviewed grinders. I'm not fond of brands that give away free product, and I was unable to find a burr grinder that was under $200. I was surprised to find this one, and it was far cheaper than I thought. Is it a newer model? Nope, the same as before. Talk about time-tested. It was still a little uncomfortable to purchase a remanufactured grinder. I couldn't find a mark on it. I couldn't be more pleased with it. We were back to having a perfect grinder two days after ours broke, due to being knocked off the counter. I can't tell you how impressed I am with the person who remanufactured it. I swear it's brand new. If you're looking for a coffee grinder, please buy it. I'm very grateful to the seller. I wasn't paid off, no free stuff, so go ahead and check my profile. I'm blown away by this deal. I would compare it to the old T 100 pickup that doesn't know how to die, but it cleans up better. A small appliance that works well for ten years is not something I have seen before. I would like to shake the hand of the person behind the design. There is no powder explosion from the ground coffee's container. It sticks to the walls of the container, but a gentle tap of the hand lays it back down. I'll buy a t shirt if these guys sell them.

👤It was purchased to bake desserts. The glass pans are a good size, but the covers don't fit. Warming them with hot water helps them fit into place. The cover pops off when it's cooled to room temperature. These are a good size for baking desserts, but they are useless as storage containers. If covered storage is the intended use, do not purchase these. 2 stars is enough.

👤I don't have a container to store bread when I bake it. I now do. I baked loaves in these pans. The bread tasted great. The recipe I used called for a piece of paper. I don't know if bread removal is easy or not. It was easy to remove with the pp. These containers are really nice. It's much healthier than non-stick pans.

👤pyrex is amazing if you don't already know. There are some of the best glass items. I ordered them without the lid. I already own a set with the lids. I am mixing bowls instead of storing them. I like to mix cake batter, salads, eggs, and everything in between. There are three different sizes. Sometimes you need a bigger bowl, sometimes you need a smaller one. Your needs are covered in this set. If you don't have a set with lids, you should. I love my set. You don't have to use plastic wrap or tin foil to fit them. The bowls and lids can be used in the dishwasher. I like to cook and do so daily. These bowls are used a lot. The quality is so good that they will last a long time. The glass is very hard to break and food can easily come off it. I love that it's made in the USA. I would recommend these bowls to anyone. Even if you don't cook a lot. 👤It's unbelievable! Amazon needs to act. The fake Pyrex I was sent was fulfilled by Amazon. I recieved a bowl that was not from my old set. The stamps are blurry, the glass has a grey tint to it, and there are chips and defects in the glass. Real Pyrex is heavy with rounded edges and a teal hue. This is a fake from someone who knows where. If you buy, I'm sending them back immediately. I have to return these and then go to the store to get a real set. I guess you pay for convenience.

👤Every household needs a set of Pyrex bowls. If you read between the lines, you'll see that it's in the Constitution. I received the bowls. There were small bubbles in the glass at the lip of the two smaller bowls and at the bottom of the largest bowl. Since I don't plan on using these bowls in the oven, I figured I'd give World these bubbles. The day after I sent them the email, they asked for photos of the bubbles and the size of the bowls. World Kitchen is replacing Pyrex pieces that have a warranty. The bowls themselves get 5 stars because they're exactly what I needed and they work, and World Kitchen gets 5 stars for their awesome customer service.

👤The following are the size of the bowls. The small size is great for dips. The middle bowl can be used for fruit salad or vegetables. The mixing bowl is large. The largest bowl seems to be the best for mixing food, but the smallest bowl is perfect for mixing food like cheese dip or guacamole. I'm in love with these. The lip on the edge makes it easier to grab the bowls when they are in the fridge, oven or microwave. Love these bowls! Great product by Pyrex!

👤This product is not covered in ceramic. It is advertised asceramic style, but it is really a Teflon type coating. It is hazardous. Do not use this product if you are looking for safe cookware.

👤Absolutely junk. It was packaged in a new way. The other pans in the set were a combination of rusty, peeling, chipped, scratched, and even dirty, and it appeared that one of the pans was deliberately scratched. They were in bubble wrap bags and in the original box. They looked like old used dishes. It could have been a returned item that wasn't inspected before shipping it back out. Very disappointing. The quality level is not very high even if it did not have all of the damage. Would not recommend it.

👤These are turquoise colors. I had an issue with two of the baking pans being scratched out of the box, but I was able to contact the seller and they sent me a replacement for those two pans. I appreciate their customer service. These pans are easy to clean. I wouldn't recommend washing them in the dishwasher. Only hand wash. Food doesn't get stained or stick to the pans. I would order again.

👤These pans work well. They have a non-stick ceramic coating that makes it easy to slip off food. I tried the other half of the pan without oil or grease. I took my muffins out of the oven and it was the same as before. I think I will have to use oil/grease over time, but I was impressed. I love that the two large pans fit in my oven, but are hard to find because they are large enough to feed a large family. The blue paint on the pans can scratch on the oven rack, so be careful. I will use this set a lot.

👤I used this pan once. I used 3x and had to throw it away. This one is going to the trash as well. I only use a soft wash cloth for my cookware. I ran my finger across it and the top layer was so thin that it was just coming off and the rust was underneath it. I have sets of Walmart and tjmaxx that were a quarter of the price, and I still have them. Is it possible that all the good reviews are from the first time they opened the box? I thought they were nice, until I used them.

👤I got these pans as a replacement set and I love them more than before. They are light and non stick. My cakes, muffins, and meat loafs are perfect to cook.

👤After the winter storms, a flood destroyed my kitchen. This is the first time I've been able to choose what I wanted instead of getting what I wanted. I fell in love with the pans after I saw them and read some reviews. One of them came with some minor flaws. I washed and dried them and realized the cake pan was smaller than I had been led to believe. They look great, they are non stick, clean and I love them. I will need more pans for the holidays when I get a second set because I love to bake. The pans will lose their beauty after repeated use, that's the only negative thing. They are very slick. They slid across the counter when I placed them there. Be careful.

👤This dish is the right size for me, I live by myself. The deepness is great for baking. It's good for two people to make dinner, and good for one person to make dinner and have some left over for tomorrows lunch. They wash up well. I would buy again.

👤These are nice dishes. They are not a pure clean white, but they are white-ish. The picture is not accurate. If you have other white baking dishes, they won't match. A bit grayish.

👤The finish on these baking dishes is tough enough to resist many washings, even though they are the perfect size. The bright red outside makes the kitchen seem cheerful and I bought them just in time to use during the winter holidays. You won't be disappointed.

👤The dimensions of these pieces are not accurate. The second picture shows them as 9 inches square, but they are not. The top is not 9. The bottom is close to 7. The height is 2 5/8", not 3. I have recipes that call for 9" square bakeware, but they don't seem to fill the bill. I will use them as 8 inch square bakeware and continue to look for real 9 inch square bakeware. I'm averaging 5 for quality and 1 for inaccurate dimensions, which is why I have a rating of 3. It darn it.

👤Just got them. I noticed that they are not pure white as they look in the picture, but more of a cream color. We'll see how it holds up after seeing the little crackly marks on the handle. I don't know if I want to send them back.

👤We were looking for a dish that was more than 9” in diameter. You can still bake in the area around 8” if you place it at the top of the dish. Disappointed.

These pans are a great addition to my cookware collection. I've given them a workout since the day they arrived and then just threw them in the dishwasher to see how easy they were to clean. 👤This is a heavy baking pan. The finish is not shiny smooth. We put it in the dishwasher after the initial bake since it says "dishwasher safe". The top layer of cheese had to be washed off after the dishwasher cycle was over. I've never had a problem with casserole dishes or baked-on crud, so I know it wasn't the dishwasher or the detergent. The finish seems to want to hold something. This is not "stainproof", even though it is marked as "stainless" steel. I can see where the cheese was in the top of the lasagna despite my best scrubbing.

👤The metal is strong. Well designed. Sturdy. The rim is rolled. There were no sharp edges. There is a stamped "stainless steel" on the bottom. Light striping in metal is not a problem. The dimensions are correct. The perfect size for lasagne noodles. Like the depth. The sides and corners are similar. I would like to see a pan like this with the same depth, but also that these smaller pans are sold in pairs. It's easy to store. It's perfect for making double batches. It would be good to have metal lids. It could easily be stacked in a refrig or freezer. Washed and dried by hand. Nice. Don't expect any damage. I haven't used them yet.

👤It's so easy to clean after making a cheese laden casserole that had several layers of cheese. I used to use non stick pans, but these are better. These are even better than my casserole pans. This pans are a must have for experienced cooks and as a gift for a new bride. Yes.

👤These are great for large pieces of lasagna. A 3 meal dinner for 2 was done in the oven. I made a meal for our elderly couple across the street because there is a lot of 2 in this package. They were happy to have an Italian night and she loved the pan. I'm thinking of getting her some for Christmas. The only thing missing? I would like a snap on top so I can put the leftovers in the frig.

👤It's difficult to find quality pans. These are what they are. I wanted to use them for pizza, cut chicken pieces with potatoes and carrots, and brownies. It's good shape, so you can put more items in it, it's easy to use, and it's handy to have two. I am very happy with them. The price for two exceptional pans is very low.

👤These were beautifully packed in a white box and arrived today. I almost don't want to cook them because they are so gorgeous. I can honestly say that it is easy to clean and that it is doable because I have never used it. It arrived today. I don't see why these pans won't live up to my expectations. 👤The picture is what I wanted but the video is what I got. 3 stars for inaccurate description, other wise seem to be a great quality. I wanted to like them. I am sending them back because they are not as big as I thought. The dimensions on the description are for the outside dimensions, not the inside, so they are a lot smaller than I need. The description says that they are deep in their eyes, but I don't think so. The size is not the main problem. These are not as deep as a cookie tray. They should be called deep trays. I hope this will help you not make the same mistake.

👤I needed a 9x13 glass pan to make a casserole and I needed it quick so I decided to look at Amazon and get this set, it came with 4 different sized pans and a bonus was they all came with lids. It was perfect for what I needed it for, but I knocked it off because it was hard to get the lid off. It can be a huge pain when I do use them, but most of the time I don't. I have only one complaint with this set, other than that they're great!

👤The class looks heavy and stable. I used it to bake my favorite cookies. It's so easy... I put it in the freezer and let it cool down. I used to have to change the dish to make it wash. There is no more dish to wash. I love it!

👤When attaching the lid to the glassware, there is a thin layer of glass on the handles, which can cause small shards of glass to come off. If I wanted to take the time to sand each of the edges of the dishes, it would be fine, but this is a process that should be completed by the manufacturer. I can't say if this product will last as it happened on the first use. I had to throw out the leftovers because I was afraid that a glass shard would make it into the food. I normally don't write reviews but this is very dangerous.

👤The idea behind these bowls is great, but I used the most peeled rim on the bowls that I bought, for lack of a better term. I have never seen anything like it before. The best way to describe it is that a thin portion of the rim is missing. A thin and very sharp piece of glass came off when the part peeled away. Over the last year, I have thrown out the ones that I used the most. I don't know why I'm having this issue, but I'm careful with my cookware, so I haven't seen anyone mention it.

👤We love to use these for cooking prep, but they are already fragile after 2 weeks. We put it in the dishwasher after using one for eggs. There were a lot of stress fractures. Was it touching something else? Was it the heat? Not sure. I threw that bowl because I didn't want it to break in my hand. The smallest one is damaged. I think they should have something on the bottoms. It might be enough to keep them intact. We won't buy these again because I will continue using them. I like that they're see-thru, but I want something that's more resistant. I don't like plastic because it's hard to clean and dry, so I will try metal bowls. The rest are still perfect. We should have kept the cracking one since it is "tempered" glass. We use these all the time and have found nothing better. Be careful handling them.

👤I bought these bowls almost 3 years ago and they still rate as one of the best purchases I have ever made. They are dishwasher safe and look brand new after almost daily use, they are versatile and very easy to clean. I have used larger sizes in the microwave without a problem, but always make sure the glass is at room temperature. I can't say if they are safe for the ovens. Since they are nested bowls, they take up very little room. If you are looking for a set of glass bowls for a variety of uses, I would highly recommend them.

👤I decided to replace my regular bowl sets with nested ones because it was a great decision. The nested bowl set is incredibly sturdy and will save you a lot of space. It's heavy, durable and useful. 👤I ended up coming back. Amazon is amazing again. The spots didn't go away after the first wash. They appeared to be inside the glass. The bottom of the largest bowl was not smooth. I thought the dishwasher might not have removed the dirt and dust from the warehouse and baked it on, but after washing the glass in hot soapy water, there were tiny air bubbles or bits of sand in it. It's a large bowl and didn't want to cause any damage to the food. The 8 bowls that appeared to be fine after the 2nd wash may have been a bad set. If you want to take a chance on them, you can return if you live near a Kohls or Whole foods store. Excellent packaging and quick delivery are what the original review states. All 10 bowls arrived safely, because the vendor packaging was sturdy. They needed a good wash in the dishwasher. There was a muddy looking spot on one bowl and dust and debris on others because they were not covered with plastic. Normally, I just run new dishes through a quick hand wash in hot water and rinse, but I wanted to make sure they were as clean as possible. I was surprised to see that the bowls are not as heavy as I thought. They don't have the same logo on the bottom. They are not as tall as the one from the store that I have had for a couple of years. I am not a fan of mixing, but they are much wider which makes them easier to stack. I looked up my Anchor Hocking mixing bowl on Amazon and it sells for $21, so I think the set I received is a cheaper tier or off brand, or maybe a knock off, not sure. If you're looking for traditional Anchor Hocking quality, I wouldn't recommend full retail. It's nice for someone on a budget.

👤It was beautiful but dangerous. I baked a pie for a quiche and when I took it out of the oven it exploded. There wasile glass everywhere. No one was hurt. My puppy was next to me. This is not legit Pyrex.

👤I use the air fryer to cook food. They work better than aluminum pans because food stays inside the dish.

👤Getting heavy dishes out of the oven is easy with the handles. Great for casseroles. Pies and quiches are also used by us. We value the depth and handles more than the traditional lip for edging a pie. Use them all the time.
