Best Baking Sheet with Rack

👤This is to be used in my new air fryer oven. It is large enough to do multiple items. I spray the tray with oil to prevent it from sticking and line the pan with foil to make it easier to clean. The clean-up was easy.

👤I like this so much that I may get a third. Large, very sturdy. The pan is covered with a wire grid that is non-stick. I use it to make jerky, to cook bacon, to roast veggies, and so on. The first unit's wire grid was sturdy enough, but the second unit's grid is a bit thicker. It could be that it was a different supplier. These are very well designed. They can't be beat for the money. When you're done cooking, put some dish soap in the pan, fill it with water, and let it soak for a few minutes. Don't soak the grid for hours, it's not good for its non-stick finish. Then rinse the pan and both sides of the grid with a soft brush and put it away.

👤This pan is great for cooking bacon. Our bacon is cooked in the oven and it comes out nice and crisp. I used a cooling rack for the bacon to keep it from melting in the oven, but sometimes I spilled grease in the oven because the cookie sheet wasn't deep enough. The pan is deep enough to capture grease and the coating on the rack makes it easy to clean than a cooling rack. After disposing of grease, the aluminum pan cleans easily. I use the pan for other things as well. It is the perfect size for holding two dozen sandwiches.

If you have time and gumption to wash this pan consistently, you can buy it. I washed this once in the dishwasher and it turned a brand new pan into something that looked aged 40 years. I'd steer clear due to their flimsiness.

👤I paid top dollar for these two pans and I was expecting good quality for this item. The pans twist a few minutes after you put them in the oven. You can hear it in the house. You can't make brownies with these pans.

👤These were great. I love the stackability of the cooling racks. The kids can easily grab whatever they want from the stacks on my table. When stacked, the cooling rack height is more than enough for cooling bread rolls and cakes. There is enough room for you to place or remove items without having to unstack again. The baking sheets are very easy to clean and clean easily.

👤I edited my review because I was contacted by the seller about my disappointment. It is still not a pan. I would buy again, as the pans should hold up. I am very pleased with the customer service. They suggested preheating the pan in the oven or using a lower temperature to prevent warping, but I shouldn't have to with a pan.

👤I bought these to help with holiday meal preparation. It turned out to be a waste of money. The cooling racks are not stable. They cannot be trusted not to collapse if bumped. The baking sheets are heavy but light in the oven. It would have made a huge mess in the oven if I had used them for anything juicy. Massively disappointing.

I never used either pan above 350 degrees, which is below the max temp shown in the instructions for use. There is something wrong with the pans. I wash my cooking pans in hand, never use scratchy pads or the dishwasher, and always use at or below recommended temperatures. Before they sell more of these, Chicago Metallic needs to know what's going wrong in the manufacturing process.

👤I have had these for over a month and they are ruined. I put two layers of foil on top of the pan, 4.5 pounds of rib rack, and two layers of foil on top of the ribs to seal them in, after they were fine for the first couple of uses. I cooked them for 4 hours at 250 and 30 minutes at 450. None of them warrants any damage according to the product specifications. I guess I'm stuck with them now that it happened after my return period. I'm trying to get a hold of the company to see if I can return in another way.

👤It was a great price at the time of purchase. I used it for the first time to cook chicken wings. The chicken fat was cooking in the pan when I cleaned it. The baked on fat took the non-stick coating with it. The second pan has been fine since I put down wax paper to catch drippings. I use it all the time, but wax paper is your friend at higher temperatures. Non-stick spray oil on the grate is not easy to clean, but it is sturdy and helps clean immensely.

👤We used these pans for five months to cook bacon in the oven at 400 degrees. We have always used nonscratching utensils and cleaning pads. There has been some minor staining over time, but it was only a cosmetic issue and did not affect the pan's performance. The picture shows the surface beginning to oxidize last week. I'll try another brand next time.

👤Our last set was warped pretty badly and I bought these because they don't warp or bend easily. I took that as a good sign when I saw these heavy pans. We have used ours multiple times a week and so far no one has bent, warped, or altered their shape. Our food cooks faster and more evenly on these pans compared to our old ones. There is a slight appearance on the surface after a few uses but that doesn't bother me as long as they continue to perform as they have. I would recommend these to my other cooking friends if they wanted to do the same.

👤The baking sheet I own is the worst I have ever owned. I used the first set twice before the coating bubbled and peeled. Maybe it was something I did wrong. They sent me a new set for free after I filed a claim. I used the new set 4 times and the same result...bubbling and peeling! Don't waste your money! You can find better quality pans at Walmart.

I will post pictures of them because they look new but have dents in the bottom of the tray. I might return them. The red handles are as hot as the tray. This is a false advertisement. I had my oven at 350 and these Silicone handles are hot. It's ridiculous. The stars are false advertising and the trays are damaged. I want to love them.

The non-stick coating is a good purchase, but it will not last very long. A customer service representative apologized to me after I posted the review. I've found that there are different kinds of steel. Everyone assumes that nostainless steel will rust, even though some kinds of rust and some don't. Don't assume anything. These are the types of metal that will rust.

There was rusty water when the dishwasher was opened. The coating on the cooling rack had rubbed off on other parts of the rack. They're not dishwasher safe, and they're not made of steel.

The rack is shiny even at the points where the wires are welded together. The most common types of steel used for food contact are not magnetic. I put it in the dishwasher to see if it would rust if it was plated steel. It did. The spots of rust were very small, but the rack would not have rusted after being washed in a dishwasher. The picture shows a spot where the plating had been removed. I believe the rack had some small scratches on the wires when I received it. The rust spots are small now, but I would expect more after use. I wonder if it is made of materials that are safe for food contact. There is a layer of copper between the steel of the wires and the outer plating. The product is rated 1 star because of false advertising. I would give it 4 stars if the rack were made of steel. I like the close wire spacing and it fits my half sheet pan very nicely. The support wires were bent out of shape when I got it. It's not clear if that was due to manufacturing tolerances or shipping. I was able to do it myself.

👤The 18/0 isferritic, not the more typical 18/10. The big stamp on the bottom seems to have not made it to any of the product pictures. I don't know about the rack. It's not the same alloy, but it could be a different grade. This is a heavy article of cookware.

The cooling rack addition allowed us to make bacon that was the best I have ever eaten. Yes, seriously. The pan went straight from sitting on a cold island counter to a 400 degree oven and that was a mistake. The times that I set my pan on the stove as it preheats the popping is never an issue. Would highly recommend this pan.

👤I love this brand. When it arrived, I loved it. I used it to make a pizza. The pan was in the oven. I was surprised. This isn't important for a pizza. If you were baking, your batter would flow over. I wanted to exchange the pan that I had for two weeks. It was difficult because of Amazon. I didn't have the box in which it arrived. I wasn't going to look for a half sheet box to return the product. I just print out a slip and drop the product off at a facility. I threw out the pan because it was not an option. It was sad that it didn't work out and that a replacement was hard.

👤It was fine for a couple of weeks. Other reviewers have had issues with warping, but I have not. It is impossible to keep clean. The micro-grooves make them fit into channels which can only be cleaned one at a time with the corner of a rag or brush, and they serve as perfect spots for oils and grease to pool and bake on. You end up cleaning the pan one square inch at a time. You're left with a non-stick surface over the raised 50% of the pan and the other 50% of the pan has burnt oil in it, which sticks like hell. I stick a silicone baking mat in it for anyone who has already purchased it. For everyone else, I suggest you look elsewhere. If you can find the cheapest pan, you can buy the mats. They are easy to clean.

👤The Nordic Ware pans are cheaper than this pan. They are more expensive. If you are a serious baker, they are worth it. The corrugated bottom keeps the cookies, bread, and anything else up off the pan, and lets the oven cook the entire batches very evenly. It's like baking on the oven rack because the hot oven air can circulate above and below you. I have been using this pan for 2 years. I don't use any other baking pans and this recent purchase doubled up on my collection.

After researching sheet pans on Amazon, and stumbling across the Nordic Ware 44770 Prism 13 X 17.75" High-Sided Sheet Cake Pan in Metallic, I decided to try it. I already own a few Nordic Ware sheet pans, so why not? I bought it because I took a chance. I'm not exaggerating. I love it so much that I would not hesitate to purchase it again.

👤I already had one and this is the second one I bought because I needed two. The patterned bottom helps keep things from sticking to it. It's not dishwasher safe, so you need to remember that if it goes in the dishwasher, you will ruin it. The size and quality of this pan are what I like the most.

They would pop and bend in the oven, and then become heavily stained and blackened in no time. The pan has been lovely. It is very heavy and does not bend even if you try to bend it with your hands. It feels sturdy and will last forever. It doesn't pop in the oven. I have baked things on a baking sheet before and they have turned out better with this pan. The raised design of it seems to help with baking and browning. Some reviews mentioned getting dents in pans. There were some light marks or scratches at the corners, but it was not damaged in any way. I knew that it was a large pan because of the description. You realize how large the half sheet is when you see it in person. It was a challenge to fit it in the fridge so I could chill it before baking. I was able to remove a few items from the fridge. The rack that comes with it is perfect for the pan. The rack's lines are close to each other and it's nice. There is no reason for you to be concerned that the food will fall through the rack. I haven't used the rack in the oven yet. It is nice that it is safe in the oven. It does take some work to clean the pan up. I have had to clean some brown spots where I had to scrub. It is not very hard but it does take some effort. There is some cloudiness in the bottom of the pan. I don't know what's causing it. It doesn't affect the pan's use, it just looks odd.
