Best Baking Sheets 16x12

👤I was expecting a good product. There are two products that I received. The mat is made of silicone. The pans are large and well made. The racks are much deeper than shorter models. They are a great value. I would have been thrilled to get one set at this price, now that I have seen the value. It's an amazing deal to get sets. You won't be upset with the product. I didn't dare to hope for them.

👤A piece of kitchen ware. You get two. The shine on these is as good as a mirror, and the quality of them is great. Teflon/Aluminum/Steel sheets are worth more work than they are worth. They say they were dishwasher safe and found that due to small holes in the rolled edges they would trap water and when removed from my dishwasher it dripped dirty rusty water. The set of STAINLESS STEEL is no longer available. The things I bake get heated and cooked on the wire rack. It was difficult to find this size in many stores. The right size is worth the price. I don't like the non stick sheets as they are hard to clean.

👤It's more like steel plated and holds the smell of the food you cook very well. If it were up to me, I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone because the mats are trash. Had to wash it several times before the smell was noticeable.

👤The trays have magnets on them. They are of the lowest possible quality, but that doesn't mean they are not STAINLESS STEEL. You can't use the metal on the cooktop because it's not magnetic. The package was open when the trays arrived. I was surprised that everything was in the box. It is a bitter disappointment that they are magnetic.

👤I love these pans and have used them daily since I bought them, they are clean and shine well. I baked a sheet cake in them and noticed that the black liner is starting to fall off, it looks like fine hair. I will keep the pans, but I will find a better liner for them.

👤These cookie sheets were what I wanted. I was concerned about the reviews that said adverse events in the oven. This was not my experience at all. The pans were straight. Everything went well. I didn't like the look of the mats. I will wait to try them out. The racks were a bonus. They were used for cooling. These cookie sheets are very nice. They are easy to clean.

👤Since I discovered this pan, I rarely order pizza. I use a $1.00 Pizza Buddy in the deli section of Walmart and rub a small amount of olive oil onto the pan. Remove the oven and add sauce, cheese and cheese to the baking. Every time, this pan gives you a perfect crust. Thin and crisp! Nothing sticks to it. It's a good idea to slide off the pan for easy slicing.

👤I have had AirBake cookie sheets for a long time and they are very reliable. I bought this set for my daughter and they are not as good as my original sheets. The newer version of the kitchen product is not as good as the previous versions.

When our cookies came out with a better texture and no browning on the bottoms, we were amazed. They were perfect. We've always been proud of our cookies, but we have had to change the recipe and baking times in order to get cookies that are just the right size and shape. We ordered our own AirBake cookie sheets, and now they're all we use. Our cookies are consistent. The texture has improved and the bottoms stay golden, but they still taste amazing. They don't stick to the pan. The sheets are so light that they're easy to remove from the oven. The quality of these cookie sheets is amazing, and I expect them to last us a long time.

I expect my pans to last the rest of my life. I was worried that the new ones would be light and flimsy, but a heavy package arrived and my concern vanished. In this review, I'll explain how my pans have been used and my impressions of the brand new pans that I purchased in October of 2021. The weight of the new pan is 3 lbs 5 ounces, which is very heavy. It is beautiful. These are a nice gift for someone who appreciates good quality. Smooth rims! The edges were very firm and solid. You cannot twist this pan. It's good for sheet pans to have black on the bottom. Impressive. There is a lot of information on use that I think is helpful. The label isn't stuck to the pan. Hand washing can be used in the dishwasher. Lifetime. You should save the label and receipt in your warranty file. There is no need to register. It excludes a lot, but if the pan fails, you're covered. Recommends up to 450, but not to Broil! I have cooked in my older pans to char my veggies, melt some cheese, and cook my ribs in bbq sauce. When I did broil, my pans were lined with foil and the time was very short. The pans have a special formula that makes it easy to remove. They recommend you not use it on their regular stove-top non-stick surfaces. They recommend that you follow the instructions in the recipe for greasing, spraying, flouring, etc. You can find a replacement for the pan if you love it as much as I do. Soft Scrub and a nylon brush are recommended for cleaning stubborn spots. I might try the soft scrub to clean up my old ones. I will change this review if these pans don't hold up. They are great if you don't see an update. The 10 year old pans have been used and cared for in this manner, and I cook mostly savory food like slabs of ribs, roasted vegetables, sheet pan meals and bacon. They've never been used for cookies or biscuits. For a short time, broiling has been a thing. I am not reviewing the non-stick aspect. I prefer non-stick for "run over" events, but I also prefer not cooking directly on non-stick, and line my pans almost 100% of the time for easy clean up. My liners are usually lined with aluminum foil, non-stick aluminum foil, parchment paper or silicone liners. In order. Unless my lining allows for it, I don't use metal utensils on them. I don't cut on the pans. Have never been in a dishwasher and have rarely used a nylon brush. My 10 year old pans have no hot spots. It's still flat. They usually return to flat in the oven. The science of warping is shown below. There are 3 more After all these years, durable, still look nice and feel quality. There are four I am not a stickler, so my pans do have some stains from use, but the non-stick does not have a single warning spot on the top. It has not aged. I don't use them for ease of release. There are five There is no stick on the bottom. I don't wrap the bottoms in foil. I see people wearing thin lines in and out of the oven, but it's not impacting anything. It's easy to clean them up. There are no bubbles. The bottom is probably not the same as the top. The bottom is black. I have never seen rust. There are two more They are still used with confidence. There are 3 more They are still in their original shape. My pans stack perfectly flat and even now stack and nest perfectly with the brand new ones that we just ordered, but have not yet used. They do not warp at normal temperatures and if they do twist when placed in a hot oven with little in them, they return to their normal shape and sit flat. The important thing is that they don't get ruined from continued, basic use. If you're interested in what I've learned about why sheet pans warp in the oven, you can see below. I have studied the science of sheet pan warping and found that it has to do with the temperature of the pan, how evenly it is covered with food, and whether the food is heavy or light. It's a matter of science. A good pan can be damaged by warping events. The pans get mangled.

👤I know how valuable an honest review is when you are not very familiar with a product. I don't want to waste my money either, so be assured this was not solicited. This works well for me and I highly recommend it. I accidentally received a Circulon frying pan years ago and have wanted to purchase more of them ever since. This design is very clever. The other review states that I have had no issues withwarping, but I use these pans for everything. I expected the same quality from the bakeware because my frying pan makes the best flap jacks with no sticking. Everything I have baked with them has been perfect. Good quality, easy to clean, lightweight, and durable. I will be buying more of this brand in the future. It is worth the price.

👤When I received my 11x17 cookie sheet, I was so excited that it would fit in my oven. I replaced this with an old 11x17 that fit fine and the actual measurement on the sheet is 19.5 wide due to the handles. My oven is 19 wide. The pan is sturdy and the price was great, so I am trimming off some of the handles.

👤I baked a tube of biscuits and when I took the pan out of the oven they were skittering around like ice cubes. I've never seen that level of non-stickiness. Baking bacon works well. There are also cookies and roast beef. I only clean up when I use a terrycloth rag. There is not a single thing that shows this sheet is not brand spanking new. You don't want to use Teflon-category cookware that has broil on it. The temperature is easily 500 F/ 260 C. The slippery stuff is going to degrade quickly over 450 F/225 C degrees and then you are going to start eating chemicals and your pans are going to stop being non-stick. It was a double bummer. Don't ever use abrasives. The ganga price was sold out. I own eleven pans and will be saving them for Christmas presents, along with a tub of home made cookie dough. I like these things.

👤The finish was very doubtful when I read it. I was able to remove everything from the potatoes with a paper towel. The pans are sturdy. A bigger size would be the only thing to improve on.

I tried tatertots, which always have some sticking. They are on a slip and slide. 👤These pans are very strong. I burned the bottom of my pizza due to having to cook it at a high temperature after my other baking sheets warped under the heat. I made my pizza dough after I ordered 2 of these on Prime. My pans were on the way when my pizza dough was rising in the fridge. The pans were so heavy and thick that I could feel their quality immediately. I bought nore of these pans in other styles because my pizza came out perfect. The thickness of the pan holds its shape, so they don't warp under the heat.

👤Over the years, I have purchased several of these and have been very pleased with them. It's really easy for my kids to use the oven because they use it so much. We have had to replace them because of misuse. They are wonderful pans. I accidentally ordered the regular pan from Chicago Metallic when I replaced this. After the first wash, I had to throw it away because it was completely oxidation. These pans can go through the dishwasher on a constant basis and never oxidize. They are wonderful.

👤I agree with many of the other reviewers that these are thick pans. They are great from that perspective. They are not non-stick. The food sticks are what I use to cook with. Every time. I threw out a set of similar pans because they were not non-stick, but I bought pans that claim to be non-stick, and most definitely are not. I have worked with these pans for over a year now, so I know them well, but I am going to have to try another brand in order to find a non-stick pan.

👤I was surprised at how heavy the pan was when I pulled it out. I bought this because of the claim that it doesn't warp at high oven temperatures, which my other pans do. I had no problems cooking at 450 degrees yesterday. Some reviewers complain that the finish isn't non-stick. If you scratch it with metal utensils or wash it with soap, that will compromise the finish. The finish is peeling off. It can happen if you wash it in the dishwasher or use harsh pads. I saw a couple of customer images that looked like that. 5 stars for now, it seems to be a high-quality pan. I will update the review and rating if there are any future problems.

👤I own a Breville BOV800XL Smart Oven 1800-Watt Convection Toaster Oven that I think is the best quality and built in the world, but I also own other accessories that will fit inside the oven, which is why I think it's the best. I wanted to buy something that I could use to make cookies. The 13 inch pizza plate and boilerplate that came with the oven did not come with a cookie sheet, so it was difficult to find one that would fit in the interior of the oven without being too large. This is my first purchase from the manufacturer of this pan. I am very pleased with the thickness of the pan and its heavy weight, but I have not had a chance to try out the coating that the manufacturer uses, but if it is half as strong as the pan itself, I will definitely buy it. I was happy to find pre-cut cookie baking paper that fits this pan almost perfectly, and I also purchased Reynolds Kitchens Cookie Baking Parchment Paper Sheets (SmartGrid, Non-Stick, 22 Sheets) per box, which are precut at 12” x 16” sheets. I will update my review if I find that the pan has any problems in the future, like the coating coming off or not working correctly. I hope this helps someone make an informed purchase decision. 👤The results are fantastic, I've used these for several weeks. They are as easy to clean as the aluminum sheets we had before. We treat them fairly to avoid pitting in the first place. I would recommend preparing these by spraying them with a high temp oil to make them less likely to rust. I did this with our aluminum sheets, and they are already better. Standard baking sheets have larger sizes.

👤They're not compatible with my 12 3/16" wide countertop oven. Almost anyone buying these probably needs them for a countertop oven, and an informed buying decision is required. It's annoying as being another return, waste of time and effort, less money made, and wasteful to the environment because people don't bother measuring and reporting accurately.

The pans are small enough for a single serving tray, but larger than an average-sized toaster oven. I've worked with some pans that warp when they get hot. I think their small size and rolled edge helps them stay flat. I use my nylon scraper to remove food bits before putting them in the dishwasher, because they come clean with almost no effort on my part. Our kitchen has a great addition.

I thought that the "Rolled edge" and "thick" metal would mean that they wouldn't warp like a cheap thin pan, because of the amount of money I spent on them. If you need a sheet tray that won't warp in the oven, it's not worth 25 or 30.00.

👤I like calphalon products. I wanted to buy some name brand pans for my wife. She showed me how they warp in the oven. After cooling, go back. The corners of the pan are lifted off the counter. Still moving. And now rust. Shouldn't have used cheap pans. It looks like the calphalons will be next. Buy thicker metal sheets.

👤I needed pans with a raised edge in order to grill asparagus, so I bought these baking sheets. I used them the other day with the oven set at 350 degrees, and I'm very disappointed in them. I turned the oven light on after hearing a popping sound and saw they were bent like a ship. Unless you want a very large sheet cake or brownies, it would be impossible to use this as bakeware. I used to trust the company, but it was disappointing.

👤I love Calphlon and have bought their products for years, but this is one of the worst that I have owned. The non-stick is ok, but when you put it in the dishwasher it will rust and stain my other dishes and my dishwasher itself. I can't remove the stains. I haven't been able to check into the "lifetime warranty" that these are supposed to have. I will post an update with the results.

👤When I do review items, I wait to see how the product fairs over time. My review will be similar to many others on here. I'm talking about pans that are even under 400 F. I got these to replace some pans that had lost their ability to cook, but they are made of sturdy stuff. I've used these pans with and without spray, and I think it's important to mention that mine seemed to stain from the cooking juices and oils. I scrubbed them after each use, but even with a spray it's still a pain. I was looking for a high quality purchase and they were not my favorite purchase.

👤I bought these baking sheets for a different reason. I am always looking for new ideas for my craft, and I am an avid crafter. The sheets are the perfect weight. I am able to cut them with a regular pair of scissors and then use my die cut machine to make an Embossment plate. I made a card out of them and colored them with different colors. 👤This is a great sheet of cookies. I will only give one warning. Only bake cookies with this. Do not use it as a bait for catching sweet peppers. I like this. I used it under my pie pans to keep the spillover out of my stove bottom. It was a bad mistake. I couldn't clean it back to normal after it spilled over and the sugar was in the cookie sheet. The smooth surface did not absorb the black. I used a lot of things. Just use it for cookies. I will use my damaged one for spillovers.

👤The pan itself is of low quality, despite the fact that we bought a few for a baking class in school. The pan will warp in the oven and cause a burn to the arms of two of my students. The Nordic Ware pans don't do that. The return window is closed so maybe we will use them for something.

👤Garbage. I never trust Amazon reviews. There is no way that all of these positive reviews are legit. One of the pans was used for the first time. The only way to clean it was with the scrub side of a sponge, which isn't all that abrasive, but even after soaking this left the entire surface scratched like it was cleaned with a grinding disc. I attached a picture of the results after I tried to remove it. It looks like it has been abused for 30 years. This was after the first use. Not worth the money. They are terrible for cooking and scratch, so maybe they are fine as a serving tray. Look somewhere else.

👤I ordered two sets of sheet pans because I don't want to have aluminum in my food. I used to use the cushion air ones for my cookie sheets. I wanted to bake cookie faster and ordered two sets of these. I could put two of these sheets in the oven, and then work on preparing two more sheets to put in when the first set finished baking. I decided to order the Silicone Non Stick Baking Mat, 16” X 12” Orange Red, along with two sets of the same item, after reading all the reviews. Minimum washing was required for these sheet pans. The sheet pans and mats work well together. My cookies were great. When these pans are put in a hot oven, they will make a popping sound and turn up on one side, but this is not a deal breaker. When they get used to the temp in the oven, they begin to fall down. I just ordered another set of the sheet pans and mats to use on items like vegetable and meat that need to be roasted in a pan with sides that are short so that your meat can roast correctly, because I am so happy with the duo of the sheet pans and mats. I am sure that at some point, these types of food will cause the mat to become wet and reach the sheet pan. I will clean them as best as I can, and I am sure that the sheets that I keep for these types of food will not be discolored. The two new sheet pans will only be used for certain applications. I have good quality cookware and a well stocked kitchen, so I am very picky about what I use. The pans are great. Hope this helps someone make a decision.

👤We are trying to reduce our exposure to non-stick coating and aluminum by replacing old cookware. I knew I wanted 18/0 steel, but it's not beatable for the price. I was very happy with my purchase after using them for several weeks. They are easy to clean. I don't have to worry about how to wash them or what utensils I use. They will be sparkling clean again if they are put in the dishwasher. I have had experience with the pans warping, but this isn't a deal breaker for me.
