Best Baking Sheets for Oven Stainless Steel

👤The Nordic Ware pans are cheaper than this pan. They are more expensive. If you are a serious baker, they are worth it. The corrugated bottom keeps the cookies, bread, and anything else up off the pan, and lets the oven cook the entire batches very evenly. It's like baking on the oven rack because the hot oven air can circulate above and below you. I have been using this pan for 2 years. I don't use any other baking pans and this recent purchase doubled up on my collection.

The rack that comes with it is perfect for the pan. The rack's lines are close to each other and it's nice. There is no reason for you to be concerned that the food will fall through the rack. I haven't used the rack in the oven yet. It is nice that it is safe in the oven. It does take some work to clean the pan up. I have had to clean some brown spots where I had to scrub. It is not very hard but it does take some effort. There is some cloudiness in the bottom of the pan. I don't know what's causing it. It doesn't affect the pan's use, it just looks odd.

When cooking some salmon, once for baking potatoes, once for roasting carrots and once for brussel sprout. When you force them back as they cool, you don't want to worry that they will go back to the flat shape when you throw them in the oven. I had high hopes, but not the best sheet pans. Unless you don't like nice browning, I would go with another brand.

👤I've bought many pans over the years. In a short time, the racks start to lose their coating. You are eating it with whatever you cooked on it. Steel wool pads are used to clean the pans because of their baked-on appearance from oils/fats. I went back to basics with a pan. The pan and the rack are both heavy. If I soak them first, they will clean up easily. I think these will have a longer life than previous pans. Definitely recommend!

👤I really liked the look of the rack and tray, but when I tried it out with chicken drumsticks in an air fryer, the tray would warp in the heat, raising portions of the tray up. I put the second tray of the two-pack into the oven at 400 degrees to confirm. This tray twisted again. See the picture. It looks like they needed to make it a little bit heavier to resist the twist caused by the unevenly heating portion of the tray. I don't have a problem with a thin tray, it saves time in the oven by heating quickly, but you have to design the tray to cook under heat. It could be for some people's uses, but there are two main problems. The warp can lift food on the corner of the rack twice the height of the lift on the elevated corner, which is problematic for a low-clearance air fryer. The warp can happen suddenly, throwing juices or food.

It comes up at least a 1/2 in on the opposite end corners, so good luck getting any even browning. It cleans up fine and it returns to its original flat shape once cool but don't bother putting anything circular on it because they are all going to run to the middle and not brown and crisp up. I wonder about the quality and thickness of the metal when it cools very quickly. It works alright but not what I wanted.

👤I got one of both TeamFar and FoxRun because I wasn't sure which to choose. TeamFar was slightly larger, had a higher side, and had a mirror finish, so you could use it as a mirror! The cooking surface is flat and there is no channel around it. There is a rolled seam. The FoxRun sheet had an issue where the label was taped to the sheet and didn't come off. I soaked the spot with vegetable oil and used a suggestion from another user. I was able to scratch the tape off with my finger. It is important to get any remnants off before using because the tape can get stuck in the oil. The tape was gone after it was washed. The sheet seemed more flexible than the TeamFar. If that matters to anyone, it has a channel. The seam is tight. The video shows the comparison.

The higher the nickel and chromium content, the higher the manufacturing cost. The less carbon needed to maintain rigidity and the more nickel content, the less magnetic it is. After spending days looking for new racks to fit my pans, I finally thought to measure the pans. The pans were 17 by 12 by 12 inches, and that was at the top of the pan which made my rack too large. The pans are really good. Good quality and easy to clean. I returned the pans.

We are finding in a few cases that it warps, but in the majority of cases it doesn't. It seems to be a problem in ovens that don't have an even heating, which makes one side of the pan heat quicker than the other. We are fighting against the natural properties of the steel. If the pan is evenly heated, it won't warp, but if one side is hotter than the other, it will warp. We used a thicker grade of steel to try and hold the pan rigid, which works well, and put the rod inside the rim. I am happy to arrange for a refund if you can provide me with your order id. If the pan is usable for you, then keep it, if not, then give it to a friend or relative, as chances are it won't warp in a different oven.
