👤I have an air fryer. A pizza stone needs to be in the oven for at least an hour. My oven uses a lot of electricity and it costs me a lot. This is a good size pizza for me, and it was perfect for my air fryer. You can put another pizza back in if you pull off the first one. It is easy to clean and does what I want it to do.
👤The grill marks on the bottom of the stone make for a great pizza.
👤I have only used this Pizza Stone once, and the bottom crust does not seem to be very crisp. Maybe I need to use it more often.
👤Stick with the chef. The texture is not normal. Doesn't hold heat well.
👤It fits my little oven and is similar to a pizza stone.
👤There were no complaints about this. I would recommend this because my daughter loves it and it looks nice.
👤It is rectangular. Didn't know that. It is difficult to clean. The scraper doesn't work very well to get rid of stuff.
👤Everything was stuck to the stone and we had to throw it away.

👤I have ever smelled a pizza stone that was toxic. I wonder what the chemicals were that were in my pizza. It is hard to get the smell out of your house after you use it. Don't buy.
👤After I heated them, my wife still smelled the chemical smell in the kitchen for 6 hours. The windows were open and the stones were still emitting an odor. Same thing, rinsed stones.
👤I bought this to help distribute the heat in the oven. Our food has cooked up great and it fit perfectly.
👤I liked everything about this product.
👤I left in the oven for a long time so it didn't work well, but it's neat and medium weight and should work well if I stay in the oven for a long time.
High quality, durable and safe. The Chef Pomodoro is food safe and non-toxic. Reliable Cordierite stone can last a long time with proper care and maintenance. The baking stone in the oven helps you bake a pizza just like you would buy it at a pizza store. 1400F. Ceramic stone is more durable than temperature resistance. The cordierite used in the making of the pizza stone has a very low and uniform coefficient of thermal expansion and a very high decomposition temperature, making it ideal for grilling. Place the pizza stone in the oven or the grill and prepare a pizza dough. If you're still worried about food sticking or leaving a trace, line the bottom of the pizza with a piece of paper. Make sure the pizza stone is cooled before cleaning. Use a plastic scraper or nylon pad to remove excess food. Baking can be done in open fire heating environments where this baking stone is used. You can also make other snacks, like cookies, rolls, bread, cheese, and so on.
👤I will definitely be buying more after my first purchase. The bases made with the pizza stone were so good that I didn't want to eat cardboard pizza anymore. The delivery was on time and the instructions were easy to understand. Highly recommended. I have already told my friends.
👤I thought it would be even better.
👤Now I can get that crisp crust, it works perfectly.
👤The board is in good condition. I'm going to try an outdoor grill.
👤I returned it because I needed a bigger one.
👤The pizza stone is 7 lbs. It is not ceramic and feels delicate at the same time. I have never used a pizza stone before, but I have been converted! You put the pizza stone on the bottom rack in the oven, heat the oven to 500, and then put a little flour/corn meal on the pizza stone. It is cooked evenly and thoroughly. I can pretend I have an oven. I've only tried pizzas so far, but it looks like you can use them on the grill or bake cookies and other items too. This was under $25 when I ordered it, which feels like a reasonable price point for such a large piece of cooking stone. This would be a great gift for a pizza lover in your life. A plastic scraper is included in the package.
👤I haven't used one of these before and I didn't feel like my first use was very comforting. It should have been very easy to cook a premade store bought crust with home ingredients. I put the stone in the oven to cook the pizza. I slid pizza on stone in the oven because I don't want to grab it and put it on the other pan. Maybe I didn't let it cook long enough. I didn't use spray or oil. The pizza was stuck. The pizza was destroyed trying to be removed from the stone. I don't know if I should take the whole thing out of the oven or just slide it on to another pan from the stone. I did not use soap to wash it, but there are stains and spots that are not coming out after one use. I soaked it in hot water and scrubbed it. It is very heavy and hot. I might be a terrible novice. I don't want to knock the product if I am too dim to get it. Just be confident, you know what you're doing. I don't know if I want to use it again, but I might give it at least one more try.
👤The ceramic pizza stone is bigger and thicker than I expected. My previous one broke after many years of heavy use, so I'm looking forward to many more years of use with this one. It takes longer to heat up, but also retains heat for longer, because it is close to 2x as thick as my chef one. The vegan pizza I made turned out great in the 500F oven. It's funny to see how clean and pale these are, since they always end up in my oven and are heavily seasoned and black after a few months of use. It arrived in a cardboard flip top box, which is nice, but it was sandwiched between styrofoam-like foam, which is horrible for the environment. I'm going to use them as padding for a cat bed. It seems like it is great quality, but the packaging could be more eco-friendly like a mycelium-based one.
The thickness is the most important factor in crafting a pizzeria-quality bite. The Thermarite thickness is perfect for absorbing water, getting crisp crust, and easy transfer from peel to oven. Baking stone creates pizzas and breads. It bakes up multi-layers ofchewy crusts. Absorbs heat and transfers it evenly. A blend of lead-free clays made itdurable, non-cracking. The Heat Core is specially engineered. The dimensions are 14.5” L x 16.5” W.
👤I was considering purchasing this item over another one, and noticed that several reviews stated a strong odor. I decided to take a chance because of the other reviews, the price, the surface area, and the thickness. The instructions state to rinse and dry. After two cycles of thoroughly rinsing both the top and bottom of the stone, I could smell an odor. The smell faded quickly. I put the stone in the oven and heated it to 500 degrees for 30 minutes after towel drying it. No odors were detected by myself or my roommates during this time.
👤I bought this stone to replace a pizza stone that broke after many years of use. Since my previous pizza stone didn't have a brand mark, I started researching pizza stones. I chose this stone because I thought it was a good bet. I couldn't have been more wrong. I put the pizza stone in the oven after cleaning it to get it ready for use. I put it in the lowest rack in the oven and set it to 450. In the middle of winter, I had to open all of the windows and doors in my house because of the smokey smell and run outside until the smoke cleared. My eyes and nose were burning. Ok, new material... It needs to burn off. I did this a few more times to get the heat out of the stone. The smoke and smell seemed to go away after that. I used the stone a few times a week. I was never happy with the performance of this stone, I know my way around a pizza stone. I knew that it was mostly trial and error to get the right combination of time and temperature, so I just hadn't hit the sweet spot yet. I put our homemade pizzas on the stone and waited for the timer to go off, because I had used the last few times. I opened the oven and was hit with a smokey, stinging, chemical smell again after hearing the little ding. My eyes, nose and throat started to burn. I immediately turned off the oven, turned on the fan, and opened the windows and doors to take my family outside. The smoke continued. After a few minutes of smelling the foul smelling smoke, I realized that I had no choice but to get rid of it. I ran back inside, grabbed my oven mitt, and threw the smoking stone out the front door. My house still smells like burned chemicals, my eyes, nose and throat still burn, and I am starting my search for a new pizza stone. Don't buy this stone.
👤This product definitely wasn't sold as described, so never write reviews. The smell of the stone clearing the house is enough to clear it. The dough tastes like a chemical injection when it is sold as food safe. Will have to read the un paid reviews next time. Hope this helps someone.
👤It's unbelievable! It is said that the pizza stone on Amazon is a horrible product or my product. I noticed a foul odor coming from my oven when I first started preheating. I wrote it off as the curing process. Pizza tasted good. The second time I used it, there was some smoke, but I thought it was oil from the first pizza, but still a foul chemical smell in the smoke. I took the stone out of the oven and cooked the pizza on the rack after heating it up for the third time. I had to leave for an hour. I cleaned it with water after I used it for the second time. It is too late to return the stone because I don't eat pizza every week. I would love to hear from you on Amazon. It was bought on 4/29/17.
The pizza stone is 15mm thick and weighs up to 6.7Lbs. There is a free pizza peel board. It is made of 100% all-natural FDA-safe Cordierite stone and has excellent thermal shock resistance. It is heat safe up to 1112F. It could distribute heat evenly for better cooking. The pizza stone set can be used for many other things. It's perfect for bread, cookies, stuffed calzone. Before cleaning, remove any excess food with a spatula. Run the stone under water and scrub it with a brush. Don't use soap or detergent on a stone, it will leave a soapy aftertaste. If you have questions about quality or instructions after the sale, please contact them.
👤The pizza stone cracked for the first time. I didn't want to give it any stars.
👤I replaced one of the thin-ish round pizza stones that you'd find at a typical grocery store with this. The old one was double the thickness and I feel pretty sure it won't crack like this one. When I first got this, I baked it at a higher temperature than my old stone, which made the odor that comes with these things when they're new and again, unlike my old stone, go away. The old stone was not nice when it was new. If you're coming from a thinner stone, you'll need to spend more time in the oven before it's "pre-heated." Calibration is going to be done. I put the first pizza in too early and it didn't cook the way I wanted it to. The second of the two that I cooked after the stone had more time to heat up was perfect. The pizza peel is on the small side, but it is one solid piece, which is great. The two-piece peels make me uneasy when I'm making the transfer. I'm not worried about this one breaking.
👤The pizza stone said in the description that there will be no smell. Before I used it, I cleaned it with JUST water and let it dry. The kitchen smelled like diesel fumes when I started preheating the stone in the oven. I was hoping it would go away quickly. No, it did not. I baked some dough to see if the smell would affect the flavor. Thankfully it did not. The pizza was great. There was no weird flavor in the bottom and middle. The smell of the stone was so strong that I got a headaches. Hopefully that odor will decrease after use. Time will tell. Either way, I will update this review. The peel is already warped after 1 use and needs a quick rinse and drying with a dish towel.
👤The pizza stone can be used as a tandoor oven. I made great garlic nanches. It makes Chinese scallion pancakes extra delicious. I love it!
👤Consistently makes a good crust. I've only used store bought dough so far, but I'll try to make it from scratch. Make sure you preheat stone for 25 minutes before grilling. It's a good size for a large amount of pies. I would recommend it to a friend.
👤I wanted to cut the stones to fit in my oven, so I bought two of them. That worked out well. The stones retain water. They have worked out well for me. The included pizza peel made me pick these stones among others that were almost the same type and cost. It is too small and thick to be worth anything. It wouldn't hold a baguette and it wouldn't hold a personal size pizza. It wouldn't be possible to slip it under anything. The stone is worth something.
👤Miniature pizzas that are 6 inches in diameter might work out for you. It's not going to happen to cook a proper 10-14 inch pizza. The pizza stone needs to be closer to 15x15 than it is to 15x12 because of the tiny peel. The stone will cause a mess on the bottom of the oven. If you have space restrictions in your oven that is the only time this will work out.
Looking for a gift for a home chef? The baking stone with pizza cutter is a great choice. They'll love to have it in their kitchen. Pizza stone is high quality. The pizza stone is made of cordierite ceramic and is very hot. The stone can heat up to 1,450F (787C) for use in the oven and grill, thanks to this process. There is no smell under normal use. The baking stone is porous and absorbent and could be used to make pizza or flatbreads, which is much more efficient than metal and could draw out theMoisture from the dough. Pizza stone size for grill and oven. The stone pizza pan is 15” wide x 12” deep and has a thickness of 0.62”. The pizza stone can be used for more than just pizza, it can also be used for other things. There is a weapon tip. Pizza stone should never be season with oil or grease. The taste of food may be affected by the use of soap or detergent to clean the stone. It's not dishwasher safe. If you are looking for a useful gift, Arcedo rectangular pizza stone is the way to go. It is a great present for both home and professional use.
👤After 20 years, one of our beloved Pampered Chef stones broke. After one use, we returned it. It does not work for our needs, and is not a similar product. The cooking requirements for the type of material were very inconvenient. Every week we use our stones to cook everything from homemade artisan bread to pizza to chicken tenders to homemade cookies. We use them for everything from a cookie sheet to a pizza pan. The stones from the chef need a few minutes to cook. To have to heat this product up to 500 degrees for at least 30 minutes before it can be used to cook anything at all, plus the recommendation not to cook frozen or even cold food on it, and the need for it to be dried for 24 hours before use. Who wants to wait for 1 hour to cook a pizza and 1 hour to cook bread? Not being able to cook much of anything else on it is much less. If you have the time and electricity funds, you can double or triple your oven usage, which will allow you to make a delicious pizza and bread. A more flexible usage product is what we prefer. I gave it 2 stars because the company packaging for it was very secure and professionally packed. The professional detailed usage guide was included. It's not the right product for us. It had a very strong perfume-like smell that was bad for those of us with severe allergy and breathing problems, but I think that's because it was stored in the Amazon warehouse, not the company or product.
👤It's great! It's nice and big. The pizza I am making is great. The tip is to use paper. The paper may burn at higher temperatures, but it doesn't matter. The pizza will slide off your peel and off the stone after it's cooked, and you'll have a clean stone as well!
👤I put it in my car. The oven is used to eliminate hot spots. It is working well.
👤I bought this for my trailer oven because the ovens in trailers don't distribute heat evenly. It makes wonderful biscuits. I made pizza with it and it was stained. This is a must have for an RV or trailer.
👤This is a lot of work to clean. The pizza was placed in the oven. They were burned and stuck. The temperature of the stone makes it nearly impossible to fix in a moment. We tried scrubbing it with steel wool, a kitchen brush, and a scouring pad. There is still charred ash that remains.
👤Does a good job of cooking the dough or cracker consistency. It won't burn because it heats evenly. When the sauce and the topping are done, the crust is too. If the dough is sticky, it will glue itself to the stone, and that's a chore to clean. The stone is well made and packed. I got this to fit my countertop oven, and it was a nice addition. It's big enough for a standard frozen pizza, and does well for other flatbreads.
Not just for pizza. Baking can be done in open fire heating environments where this baking stone is used. You can also make other snacks, like cookies, rolls, bread, cheese, and so on. The pizza stone is made from food grade cordierite and is safe to use. The pizza stone can heat up to 1408F. You and your family are safe to eat pizza with this pizza stone. When heating, there is no smell. Baking Stone is multifunctional. The pizza stone can be used in many places such as home oven or outdoor grill and BBQ, making it easy to cook homemade and frozen pizzas. The pizza stone can be used to bake bread, biscuits, and other items at home with family and friends. Enjoy your time. Baking Stone is made from natural materials. If you place the baking stone in a hot oven, it could cause the pizza stone to crack, so first place it in a room temperature oven and then in a hot oven. Baking Stone: heating balance design. The pizza stone has a specially designed core that distributes heat evenly and provides a better balance between thermal and heat distribution. Pizza stone can absorb water from the surface and cook the pizza, so you can enjoy the pizza. It is easy to make food better at home. If you want to clean the pizza stone, you need to remove any excess food with a plastic scraper. When the pizza stone has cooled, run it under water and scrub it with a brush. Don't use soap or detergent on a stone, it will leave a soapy aftertaste.
👤I needed a stone that would fit my small wall oven, and it had to be as large as possible with enough room around the sides for air flow. I make the best NY style pizza after purchasing this. The price for other stones made of cordierite was less than what I would pay for my size. I read that people had problems with cracking over time, so rather than wash with water, I should just wipe all crumbs with a dry cloth. The other manufacturer's instructions were followed. The natural materials absorb the water when stones are dried. I heated the stone at 175 f for thirty minutes, then at 275 for thirty minutes, then at 525 for thirty minutes, and finally at 525 for thirty minutes, and finally at 525 for thirty minutes, and finally at 525 for thirty minutes, and finally at 525 for thirty minutes, and If the stone is allowed to cool gradually in the oven and no water is used to clean it, I think it will last for many years. I was able to stick on the first pizzas using a well-made peel. I preheat the stone for an hour and it gives me an amazing pizza dough that is crisp and delicious.
👤I do not use this for pizza. I leave it in the bottom rack of my oven to help keep the heat on and the temperature stable. I needed the rectangular shape. I picked up a cheaper one at a local store to tie to me, but this is very thick and heavy, and the carrier kept losing the package.
👤Works well. It cooks the bottom of the pizza better than my pan, I use parchment paper to move my pizza around and avoid getting food on the stone. I have not had any problems with my pizzas not fitting in it.
👤The Pizza Stone is what we needed to prevent our pizzas from cooking too fast in our camper. Since using this pizza stone, all of our meals have been perfect. We use it in the oven and on the grill to make homemade pizzas. Thank you for the great product and quick delivery.
👤The first time I used this, my pizza was stuck. The pizza had to be removed from the stone. The dough was still doughy. It was the same thing that was tried again. The dough was stuck to the stone. The pizza was cooked twice as long as it was supposed to be cooked, but it never got crisp. I will probably not try on other pizza.
👤Everything sticks to it. I put some oil on it before cooking. I hope it seasons soon. It was a huge pain.
👤This fits my stove. They are notorious for their heat distribution. Very happy.
👤This didn't work the first time we tried it, and we haven't dared to use it again. The pizza dough was very hard for the first fire pizza we tried. We had allowed the stone to heat up before trying to put something on it. It is currently wasted in the oven.
The thickness is the most important factor in crafting a pizzeria-quality bite. The Thermarite thickness is perfect for absorbing water, getting crisp crust, and easy transfer from peel to oven. Pizza Stone for Oven is a professional grade porous material. Pizza Stone for Grill is a movie. The more you use it, the more it will season itself. Baking Stone is easy to clean by scraper and letting it dry. The pizza stone is rectangular in shape and measures 16" x 14". You won't have to worry about the pizza pan breaking.
👤I spoke to the seller. There was no response from the person who said that the stone explosion was noxious gas fumes to the point. You can't die. I had a parakEET death because of this product. It's not safe to use it around pets.
👤The smell is terrible when this is used in an oven. My eyes are stinging and my house stinks. I would like to return it, hoping for a response from the seller.
👤Stone had a terrible smell on first use. Same result after trying it 2 more times. Throw it away.
👤I read the bad reviews, but people weren't using rite. It takes 2 hours of pre heating to make heavy food, and 3 hours to cook it. I think so.
👤The pizza stone box stated that it was.65 inch thick, but it was not. It wasn't as advertised.
👤I was looking for an oven stone to bake bread in. I bought it because I saw it on prime day. I think it is great. It is a nice size oven stone. There was no off gassing from this stone. I wiped it down with a dry cloth. Before heating it up, it should be completely dry. It shouldn't be seasoned either. I heated it up to 250 for 30 minutes and then raised it to 450 for an hour to burn off fumes but there was no off gassing. I've used it to make a few pizzas. Food items can be thrown away. I heated this stone in my oven for over an hour without any problems. It takes time to heat up. It's probably not heating the stone up long enough for people to complain about pizzas not being cooked in the middle. I put the stone in my cold and turned the heat up to get it to go to that temp, then left it there for about an hour. Then I cook my homemade pizza at 500 degrees and then turn the temp down to 400. Pizza dough was very good and very firm. This stone is perfect for an oven stone. Give your stone enough time to come up to temp. I would suggest you heat it up for an hour after the oven reaches a certain temperature.
👤I looked at a number of different pizza stone options before making a decision. I like the idea of rectangular because it will be used for loaves of bread. I learned after using it that it is easier to place a pizza in a rectangular shape. I put mine in the oven because it is longer front to back. It gives me more space to put my food in the container. I never had an issue with the smell. This thing is not impervious. I read that it should be put in the oven for a few hours. I tried that. I don't know if it made a difference. I washed it with plain water. When I pressed the steel sink against the stone chip, I saw the corners. I should handle it with care as it is a brittle stone. Yes, the stone is discolored. I don't see how that is the stone's fault. The space on both sides is the same. I'll use one side of the pizza to make it brown because it will have burnt cheese, spilled sauce and other things. My wife is making bread. I don't know if this will help. She'll have a clean slate without my mess. I would buy it again. I have increased my pizza baking from using cookie sheets because of the great size. If I could only learn how to use a peel.

👤I have had a pizza stone for a year. I wanted to use it before writing a review. I bought a new gas grill with the intention of using it on it, but I bought it before. I have moved to using my electric oven because my grill is weak and the pizza stone works perfectly. I've tried many different types of crusts: pre-made, flat breads, refrigerated dough, frozen dough, homemade dough, par-baked frozen crusts, and on and on. The stone excelled in every situation. I've had trouble with dough when the humidity is high, because I'm not an expert dough maker. I found that setting my oven at a high temperature and heating it for 30 minutes immediately gave me a crisp taste when the dough hits the stone. This stone has a nice crisp base to it. This stone makes me feel like a pizza pro most of the time, because I'm an amatuer when it comes to cooking. I botch my crust. There is a rectangular version. I might have to buy one of those to have on hand in case I misplace this one. There is one last note. I had a stone that gave off an awful smell and I thought it would go away. I threw that stone after it didn't work. I was worried about buying another stone and dealing with odors again. This one did not give off a smell. I didn't think of that until I wrote this review. This pizza stone is very good.
👤I wouldn't recommend it. It split in half when I used it. It is thin and doesn't seem to be durable. The seller said they would send a new one after I explained what happened. I sent them my information. I reached out to the replacement and never heard back. Definitely wouldn't recommend this product.
👤I have been using pizza stones for over 30 years and recently I wanted to make my pizzas on the BBQ, however my old pizza stones could not be used over direct heat. I purchased the stone because of the great reviews and the data indicating that it could be used over direct heat on the BBQ. The recipe was the same as the crispest I have ever produced. The stone makes a difference. I will not be making pizza for a while as I made 4 pizzas today and two are going into the freezer. The photo says it all. It was great... The pizza has grilled veggies.
👤After one use, our stone got mold and fungus. We cleaned it properly and let it out in the sun to dry completely, but it was full of green mold and growth after 3 months. The company suggested that I soak the stone for a few hours and remove the mold. How can I make food again on that porous thing because of the growth on it? We threw it away and will never use it again. It took forever to clean after it got stained the first time. The manufacturer directed us to use soap and water. Pizza came out nice and crisp and this stone helped in getting the dough cooked faster. Overall, we are happy with the purchase and the flavor was excellent. It wasn't easy to clean and the blue scraper that they sent with it was leaving blue Mark's and leaking color on the stone, so they only took 1 star.
It is easy to care for. Remove any debris by burning it. You will get pizzeria pizza for the rest of your life if you care for this large pizza stone properly. There are four piece buffing stones. This tile set is perfect for making your own pizzas at home. Evenly cooks food. The ceramic material has been designed to cook evenly and absorb humidity. RETAINS HEAT is built to keep food warm and goes from oven to dinner table. Long- lasting use with heavy-duty ceramic construction that retains heat. The set of 4 squares are made of wood. Each square stone is 7.5 inches wide and 7.5 inches long.
👤Our lives have changed because of these tiles. We make individual pizzas using flour tortillas. We put the oven on the back porch because it's hot in Texas. It's a must to avoid heating the house while cooking. We put the tiles in the oven. We bring in two people at a time to make pizzas, then we return them to the oven. The pizzas are cooked evenly to a delicious crisp. After that, we simply remove any cheese and food remnants and store them. These are affordable, high quality and have become one of our favorite cooking tools. We recommend these tiles for yourself or as a great gift. The biggest advantage for us is their size and the ability to use them in a portable oven outside.
👤It works like a charm. It works perfectly with my oven. We love making our own pizzas on these distributions most of the time, but have also used for short ribs amd chicken wings since the heat is awesome. We can make large pizzas or individual sized pizzas with the 4 piece because I like it. The color has changed over time as they have been around for a while. The value is great. It would be a great addition to anyone's kitchen.
👤Trash. The pizzas came outdoughy, because the Stones didn't heat dough properly. It is impossible to clean. Even with the prep, stuck to stone. Trashed after use.
👤The small size is great for the countertop oven.
👤The stone was placed at the bottom of the oven.
👤I don't clean mine, but just wipe and let it get seasoned. I have a really tasty pizza that I cooked in a 500 degree oven.
👤Perfect size for personal pizzas.

👤I found this stone in the box after I received it. This is a very dirty stone.
👤I bought this stone in May 2020. I noticed a crack in the stone after using it for a month. After only 3 months in August 2020. The stone is useless. It cracked in half. I have been using it according to the instructions, but not very much. It was a disappointment for such an expensive item. The seller never responded to my email after I contacted them. Customer service and quality of an item are horrible. This pizza stone is not something I would recommend.
👤I bought a couple of stones for my house in the States and a house in the Caribbean. When I was a freshman in college, I started working at the first hole-in-the-wall pizza place in the area called DomiNicks, which was owned by Tom and James Monahan. Tom brought out his brother and changed the name to Dominos. I've owned a Wine Spectator Award, a beach front restaurant on the island that serves the best thin crust pizza in the Caribbean, and I have a little credibility in the pizza game. I like to cook at home. I ordered the Solido stone's for my houses. These are heavy and well made, and they do the job. You won't be disappointed if you just buy the things and make some great pie at home.
👤This does make good pizza according to other reviews. Until it breaks. As the oven was heating, having followed all care instructions to the letter, CRACK, as the oven was. Two clean. There is no warranty or returns. Very poor. This is not the place to review the stone, not this particular seller. They may have a better policy. 3 months? Is it worth getting a new one?
👤I have had a baking stone for over a decade. I bake a lot of pizza and bread so I needed a sturdy one that would stand up to wear and tear. I found cheap and thin ones in the kitchenware stores, but they are a waste of money. When I read the great reviews for this stone, I was a little skeptical. I wondered, "how much do these people use the stone?" Occasionally pizza? I placed my order after reading the product specifications. I was surprised by the quality of the stone. The stone was as thick as my old stone, with ridges on the bottom to increase strength. I used it right away and it was great. It fills the bottom rack of my oven. Almost all of it is in depth. The stone is large enough for a pizza or loaves of bread. This stone has had no issues so far, because I mist my oven with water to create steam. I was very happy with the purchase.
👤I would like to like this stone but I am still longing for my old Pampered Chef that broke 15 years ago. The replacement is heavy and sticky and doesn't work for me. I need a stone that a teenager can use. Lifting cinder blocks is similar to this. I don't recommend it for everyday family use. I won't put cookies on it like my old one.
