👤It was ok, but cracked unexpectedly, so don't know what to say. We always preheat the oven and stone at the same time. The company sent us a new stone after our first cracked. Even when the product is over a year old, we appreciate the company standing by it. Hopefully this one works better.
👤The product arrived quickly. We followed the instructions for breaking it in. There are a few notes. If you're not careful, it will stain easily. There was a bubble over at one point. It doesn't affect performance, but it's not as pretty as it used to be. 2. It's large. If you're not leaving it in your oven full time, it can be difficult to store it, but it's perfectly acceptable.
👤I have used the stone a few times and love it. The packaging was good. The stone arrived in perfect condition. It is thick and heavy and fits in our oven just right. I washed it with water and will not allow it to dry for a few days. I looked for any flaws or cracks. I didn't see anything. I will make pizza with it. I am very pleased with both the quality and the shipping. That's correct... I'm reading that you're not supposed to oil your stone. I am not. I am going to peel the bottom of the baking sheet and buy cornmeal. I am looking forward to seeing how it turns out. I need a good pizza crust to make it. They give you an ebook with this stone. I am going to check them out first.
👤I've only used it once, but it looks like it will be a great stone. I made a loaf of bread. Once it was ready for the oven, it was easy to just slide it onto the stone. It baked well. We leave it in the oven to store it because it is heavy and cumbersome. Our other ones broke. This one is nice and thick and doesn't look like it will break; as long as we treat it correctly. If you purchase this, you will be happy.
👤A great pizza stone. I preheat the oven before cranking it up to a high of 550. Other people claim to have problems with cracking and breaking issues, but they don't. It is as close to a high temp wood fired oven as you can get. If you're using a real deal neopalitan type of dough, you can cook a pie in 12 minutes. Look up Antimo Caputo. Pizza flour. It's a bomb. If you don't have the $5-8 k for a real wood fired oven, this will fit the bill. Make sure your oven and stone are very hot for the best results. The crust is too wet and takes too long to cook. Think of the pizzas you see on TV. Make it like that and you will get pizza nirvana.
👤We had been using travertine squares and they worked well but they didn't last long. After the first and second bake, I was not impressed. Went to store and came back and heated to 475. The travertine would char the dough at 475. The underside is not much. Going to preheat this stone longer to see if anything changes. I will update this rating if it does. 50 bucks will buy a lot of travertine. The e book was never delivered. We are going back to the $2 travertine squares from Lowes because we just used it again.
The pan scraper is easy to clean. It was made in the USA. Hand wash. Perfect baked goods are created by heat. Not just for pizza, you can also make delicious cookies, dinner rolls, or even chicken!
👤I have a pizza stone that has been around for 20 years. I bought this one because it was a little bigger and the handles would be useful in taking the pizza out of the oven. We are pizza fans. I used this new one twice, once in a gas oven at 550 degrees. It was fine. I used a barrel smoker for the second time. When I opened the door to check on the second pizza, the pizza stone was in at least four pieces. It fell apart during the cooking process. Pizza was everywhere. The selection was a no-brainer, I have had the most amazing experience with Pampered Chef. I was not as lucky as the original one, which fell apart in the same way on the same night. I went to a cast iron pizza pan to see if it could last a little longer.
👤In July of last year, cracked in feb. Not worth the price.
👤This pan was used three times. A loud bang from the kitchen, open oven, and pan broken into multiple pieces, was heard during normal use on bake. The contact seller curtly replied that it was an outside return/refund window. Nothing more. The chef will not back their product because it was not a direct sale. If you want to, savesay You have been warned that this is a P O S.
👤This was the worst stone I've ever received. I tried to contact the seller to let them know that the item broke after the first use in the oven. I gave up and bought a better brand.
👤I had a stone for 20 years. When I started preheating it to 500, I never cooked a pizza on it. It cracked after 5 more times. I ordered a second one because I thought I did something wrong. I was hesitant to cook at 500 again. I started making pizzas again last week. The second one cracked after the 7th pizza. I only cook once a day. It cools off. I let it dry and clean as I please. This is a great chef. It should not be happening. Very disappointed.
👤I bought this for my girlfriend who was making a soggy pizza. She cooks biscuits and other things and everything comes out perfect because of this stone. My girlfriend is small but she doesn't mind because the stone works so well.
👤This stone was a counter fit. It broke into 4 pieces on the first use. How is that possible?
👤You need this stone if you like pizza. When cooking pizza at home, don't cook it with soggy soft crust. The answer is a pizza stone. It is easy to use and maintain. Do not use soap on this.
Perfect baked goods are created by heat. Not just for pizza, you can also make delicious cookies, dinner rolls, or even chicken!
👤I use it for dinner most nights. Chicken, beef, pork, vegetables, etc. It's small, but works in my oven. It will hold two chicken breasts. Cleans and stores well. I would buy it again.
👤I was thrilled when I received iten. Back in the day, the same pan was used. This was not a company. It was thrown on the porch before. I give credit when it's due and honest review when it's not.
👤I had to buy my mom a new one after I tried to make hotdogs on the stove top. You can't do that. She had her last stone since dirt was the hot new thing, so I had to replace it. She's happy. I learned something. The hot dogs were good.
👤The best stoneware is Pampered Chef. I have a small one for my regular oven that can be used for a small item or portion. The large pan is my favorite for roasting potatoes or veggies. A dark surface forms over time and is non-stick. The pan is heavy and can break if you drop it. It's perfect except for that. The large one for a full oven should be considered by anyone who has a toaster oven for this size.
👤The trays were broken when they arrived. I love this small tray and have ordered one before and it was delivered without problems. I was disappointed when they arrived broken, I ordered these for Christmas. Hope they won't be a problem to return. The product is great and I gave a 5 star review. Just want them delivered in a single price next time.
👤The bar pan I received was not square and was not the same size as the older style bar pans. It was smaller and more rounded. It was delivered quickly and in tact, even with most of these items going for 50 dollars and more, they are still good to cook in/on.
👤I've had the large version for a long time and never had an issue. I received this as a gift and like the size for smaller portions.
👤The instructions helped me understand what to expect. I seasoned it by baking some pieces of beef on it, and it was already seasoned. It works well. I'm very happy with it.
👤I know this brand to be good, but it was badly let down by the packaging, which was just shoved in a small cardboard envelope, and upon opening was broken into several pieces. It was expensive and completely useless. Will not order again.
It does not have a lot of weight. It is not necessary to preheat it for a long time as compared to the thicker ones. 3 1/2 blade with edge.
👤The handle on the mini spatula came off in the dishwasher and we had to get a new one. We just ordered another one. The quality deteriorated in the intervening years. The first time I used it, I grabbed my finger on the metal that protrudes from the handle. I spent some time in the garage filing it smooth after bandaging my finger. I had the chance to inspect the handle, which is poorly finished and rough, and it was not good. I filed that as well. This item wouldn't pass the most basic quality inspection. It's clear that many formerly well-respected brands have found a low cost, low quality manufacturer and are exploiting the consumer based on their past reputation. Oxo makes a mini-spatula that is a fair price for a solid product. I'm giving up on Pampered Chef.
👤Not what I ordered. May be necessary to return. The black handle on the spatula was something I had for a long time. I was happy to find another one after it turned up missing. Imagine my disappointment when I open the package to find a completely different spatula, it is only fifteen dollars. All nylon. I'm very disappointed, but I may keep this to see how it works. This is the second time in the past month that I have tried to order something from Amazon and gotten something different than what I pictured. Disappointing.
👤I gave away so many of these that I needed another one to give to my kids. The silver was discolored when it went through the dishwasher. So disappointing. I don't use it as a server when I have guests.
👤I gave the small spatula a 3 because it melted from the heat. I thought it was a spatula, but it has become a handle. The handle is plastic and not heat resistant. Other companies went the extra mile to make their handles heat proof. It's bad that the chef went cheap.
👤I ordered one because I fell in love with it and used it at my sister in-law's house. There is a plate in the photo. The spatula is the perfect size for slicing. It's easy to use and doesn't take up a lot of room on a table. The edge is sharp enough to get through to the bottom of the pan, but not so sharp that it will hurt anyone. This is a must have kitchen tool. I love it! I've never had bad experiences with the products of Pampered Chef, but I'm not a dealer. This product is very good.
👤I bought this for my mother-in-law. I didn't know that the products of the Pampered Chef could be purchased on Amazon. She was thrilled to find this under the tree and even more so to know that she would never have to use a mini-server again. I have never been let down by the products my family has purchased from Amazon. I love. If you're looking for a spatula that's small and has never used it, I highly recommend you order this one. It is worth every cent, even though it looks a little pricey. It's great for items that are sticking. It helps to separate the pan.

👤The largest stone they make is 14x 16. The stone is lighter than I thought. I've used in on a barbecue and home oven. It took the preheat in my barbecue quite well, and it seems like a durable stone. You will have to experiment with your oven to get the most out of it. When I measure the temperature on the floor of the oven, it's 600F, but when I measure the ceiling, it's 500F. The first time I put the stone on the top rack, I was not able to achieve the bottom browning. That is something I like. The stone was difficult to get to 500F. I put the stone on the bottom rack in order to get theoven spring I wanted. I put the pizza on the top rack with the flame broiled on and then moved it off the stone. Expect to experiment to figure out your optimal setup.
👤It cracked when I cleaned it, after being used three times. Used it again... Then it broke. How about a replacement? I would return it, but I'm past the 30-day window. Here's how I used it. There are cinnamon rolls. They left stains on the stone. I didn't think much of it and didn't mind the stains. There are two more There is a baked homemade pizza. It turned out to be much better than expected. The cinnamon roll stains turned black, so I decided to clean it according to the instructions, but I noticed a crack in the middle of the stone after it cooled off. I was careful not to abuse the stone after it cracked. Pizza was cooked again. It was great and delicious again. It broke in half after it cooled and was gently removed from the grill.
👤We bought this stone for our travel trailer oven. Food would be burned on the bottom if this stone was not present. Our home oven bakes as well as our oven, thanks to this stone.
👤The built-in handles on this pizza stone make it easier to remove it from the oven, which is why I purchased it. I use a padded box to store it. It works well and makes great pizzas. It's impossible to clean the stone stains since you can't use detergent. The stone is normal, but now it looks dirty. I sent this stone as a gift because I loved it so much. Highly recommended!
👤The pizza stone was packaged nicely and works great. I have only made 2 pizzas so far. I put the stone on the rack at the lowest position, just above the electric burner in the stove, and set it to 500 degrees. I leave it there for at least 30 minutes while I prepare my pizza. I have a great pizza in about 9 minutes. It's great so far.
👤It was a good size and weight. It was Stained at first use. I thought it was good and dry, but when I looked at it again, it was covered in black mold spots. It must have been wet. I guess I will have to leave it in the hot oven for a while after each cleaning?

👤The future of humanity depends on this review being read by Amanda Hamilton. The machines will take over if the review is not seen by the person who ordered the Heritage Pizza Stone. I bought this pizza stone because my lovely domestic partner in crime is not graceful or sober most of the time. She tried to remove the pizza stone from the oven with her hand. The dogs are in danger of being eaten by the delicious smells from the molten fragments on the kitchen floor. The Heritage Pizza Stone was undamaged. We took it on its maiden voyage last night, and as advertised, it got hot in the oven and suspended a frozen California Pizza Kitchen pizza above the ominous heating elements below. The pizza had a delightfully crisp crust, just like we like it. It came out without the topping because the domestic partner in crime decided that she would use a large spatula to pull the pizza out of the over. The spatula was found under the cheese. The low carb is for the win. This glowing review should inspire a series of world saving events that will lead to a pizza utopia for all of us.
👤I have owned pizza stones before. I like them. They broke easily after many years of use. I decided to try this stone out because of the black top coating. I have noticed that simple detail makes a difference. The stones I used in the past did not have this detail. I am able to use soap to give me reassurance that my dishes are actually clean because of the black top coat. I used to not be able to use soap on my stone ware. This product stays in the oven. I use it to make frozen pizzas, bake frozen biscuits, and when I cook a dish, I sit it on top of the stone. When I need to wash the stone, it goes back into the oven. The stone also had a pizza cutter. It is very nice. I absolutely adore my pizza cutter. The cutter is of the highest quality. It is smooth and cuts well. This product is very good. The sellers told me if I had any issues after I received the product, but I didn't. Excellent customer service. I will purchase from this seller again.
👤My ex-wife got a large pampered chef stone when I started out. I looked at a stone that was not worth much. I stumbled across this stone while looking for a replacement and it was a lucky accident. This thing is large. It won't fit in my oven. It's a good size. I've eaten pizza on it so far. I also make biscuits, cinnamon rolls and bread on this stone, and I haven't found anything that wouldn't work on it. I found a slot in my cookie sheet cabinet where I could clean up easily. This stone is going to be a premium product that will last.
👤If you think about making your own pizza at home, this is a no-brainer. I used to use a cookie sheet upside down, but this does everything as advertised. After about a year, you can buy it edit. It cracked while using it. I am not sure what caused it. I just left it in the oven when it mentioned that from the manufacturer. I will be looking for a different stone. Update! There is a After talking to the seller. They were able to help me out with my issues and got a replacement in less than a week. I was surprised that I got it quickly. I will shop more from this seller.

👤I broke my second pan. I heard a pop in the oven. I had a replacement for my original pan for close to 10 years. I think they are making them thinner. Will not replace another product.
👤I bought this stone for my father's birthday and after two uses it broke and is useless, I paid a lot of money to get something else, so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It doesn't want to give a one-star for this particular Stone, it should get a zero very disappointed.
👤My daughter cracked one of the ones I bought. The normal three year warranty is not in effect when I bought it from a third party, and I found out about it from Pampered Chef. There is a flaw in one of the sides. I would only buy from Pampered Chef in the future. It will be a very expensive lesson if it does not crack soon.
👤0 stars... I have had 2 PC bar pans for almost two decades. The new one cracked when I picked it up. There are hundreds of current reviews on the site of newer stones cracking with minimal use.
👤My previous bar pan lasted a long time. The large bar pan cracked while baking a loaf of meat in a 350 degree oven after just 2 months of use. DreamShopping gave us 15% of the purchase price. I'm not happy with the product or the company.
👤The Pan broke into 3 pieces in the oven. That is 3 months. I will never buy from a pampered chef again because of the price I paid. I used to have one that was a lot heavier. I had it for 20 years. They don't make things like they used to. I loved that pan.
👤I like to cook with the Pampered Chef. We broke our pan a few months ago. We bought a replacement on Amazon. The oven broke when it was turned off. The vendor charged us twice as much as they charged on the website. Very disappointed.
👤After only a few uses, the platter cracked in half. I purchased it through Amazon and it won't be honoured by the 3rd party vendor or the company that purchased it. The total waste was $120. Lesson learned. Beware!
👤The product is great. I canceled my order and it was delivered.
The thickness is the most important factor in crafting a pizzeria-quality bite. The Thermarite thickness is perfect for absorbing water, getting crisp crust, and easy transfer from peel to oven. Baking stone creates pizzas and breads. It bakes up multi-layers ofchewy crusts. Absorbs heat and transfers it evenly. A blend of lead-free clays made itdurable, non-cracking. The Heat Core is specially engineered. The dimensions are 14.5” L x 16.5” W.
👤I was considering purchasing this item over another one, and noticed that several reviews stated a strong odor. I decided to take a chance because of the other reviews, the price, the surface area, and the thickness. The instructions state to rinse and dry. After two cycles of thoroughly rinsing both the top and bottom of the stone, I could smell an odor. The smell faded quickly. I put the stone in the oven and heated it to 500 degrees for 30 minutes after towel drying it. No odors were detected by myself or my roommates during this time.
👤I bought this stone to replace a pizza stone that broke after many years of use. Since my previous pizza stone didn't have a brand mark, I started researching pizza stones. I chose this stone because I thought it was a good bet. I couldn't have been more wrong. I put the pizza stone in the oven after cleaning it to get it ready for use. I put it in the lowest rack in the oven and set it to 450. In the middle of winter, I had to open all of the windows and doors in my house because of the smokey smell and run outside until the smoke cleared. My eyes and nose were burning. Ok, new material... It needs to burn off. I did this a few more times to get the heat out of the stone. The smoke and smell seemed to go away after that. I used the stone a few times a week. I was never happy with the performance of this stone, I know my way around a pizza stone. I knew that it was mostly trial and error to get the right combination of time and temperature, so I just hadn't hit the sweet spot yet. I put our homemade pizzas on the stone and waited for the timer to go off, because I had used the last few times. I opened the oven and was hit with a smokey, stinging, chemical smell again after hearing the little ding. My eyes, nose and throat started to burn. I immediately turned off the oven, turned on the fan, and opened the windows and doors to take my family outside. The smoke continued. After a few minutes of smelling the foul smelling smoke, I realized that I had no choice but to get rid of it. I ran back inside, grabbed my oven mitt, and threw the smoking stone out the front door. My house still smells like burned chemicals, my eyes, nose and throat still burn, and I am starting my search for a new pizza stone. Don't buy this stone.
👤This product definitely wasn't sold as described, so never write reviews. The smell of the stone clearing the house is enough to clear it. The dough tastes like a chemical injection when it is sold as food safe. Will have to read the un paid reviews next time. Hope this helps someone.
👤It's unbelievable! It is said that the pizza stone on Amazon is a horrible product or my product. I noticed a foul odor coming from my oven when I first started preheating. I wrote it off as the curing process. Pizza tasted good. The second time I used it, there was some smoke, but I thought it was oil from the first pizza, but still a foul chemical smell in the smoke. I took the stone out of the oven and cooked the pizza on the rack after heating it up for the third time. I had to leave for an hour. I cleaned it with water after I used it for the second time. It is too late to return the stone because I don't eat pizza every week. I would love to hear from you on Amazon. It was bought on 4/29/17.
It is easy to use and very durable. Silicone and nylon handle. It is heat resistant to 650 degrees F.
👤I have never written an Amazon review before, but I felt the need to write one about this product. This product is overpriced and also a knock off. I found the exact same spatula for $11 while looking at the website. The Pampered Chef logo on the spatula is different from the one on the website. Don't buy this. It is a knock off.
👤I thought I bought the bigger one, but I really like this one. I'm going to buy the bigger one because it's better, but I'm glad I have this one.
👤It's perfect for jars in a small bowl. The scoop feels like a shovel, as opposed to the flat ones. I use the large one for cake batter. I love it!
👤Great product. It works well with small bowls, jars, muffin tins, and any other small kitchen products.
👤They mean mini when they say MINI. It's perfect for my daycare kids. I thought it was the next size up. I was surprised when I received it as a Christmas gift. I dropped mine in the disposal. I asked for a replacement. I picked it out so he wouldn't mess it up. I messed it up, but it was a perfect mistake. The kids love their size.
👤The small scraper is great to get into small cans.
👤The best scrapers I have ever purchased are the pampered chef ones. I bought a complete scraper set 25 years ago. They are amazing. The scraper is molded to the handle so that it won't separate. They are great for removing sticky ingredients from bowls. I love this product. It's not an issue for me because they do discolor a bit, but what doesn't change over time.
👤I bought one many years ago and wanted another. It fits into smaller bottles.
👤I didn't expect the Barbie version of the thing to show up in the Mail for $44.
The pizza stone is 15mm thick and weighs up to 6.7Lbs. There is a free pizza peel board. It is made of 100% all-natural FDA-safe Cordierite stone and has excellent thermal shock resistance. It is heat safe up to 1112F. It could distribute heat evenly for better cooking. The pizza stone set can be used for many other things. It's perfect for bread, cookies, stuffed calzone. Before cleaning, remove any excess food with a spatula. Run the stone under water and scrub it with a brush. Don't use soap or detergent on a stone, it will leave a soapy aftertaste. If you have questions about quality or instructions after the sale, please contact them.
👤The pizza stone cracked for the first time. I didn't want to give it any stars.
👤I replaced one of the thin-ish round pizza stones that you'd find at a typical grocery store with this. The old one was double the thickness and I feel pretty sure it won't crack like this one. When I first got this, I baked it at a higher temperature than my old stone, which made the odor that comes with these things when they're new and again, unlike my old stone, go away. The old stone was not nice when it was new. If you're coming from a thinner stone, you'll need to spend more time in the oven before it's "pre-heated." Calibration is going to be done. I put the first pizza in too early and it didn't cook the way I wanted it to. The second of the two that I cooked after the stone had more time to heat up was perfect. The pizza peel is on the small side, but it is one solid piece, which is great. The two-piece peels make me uneasy when I'm making the transfer. I'm not worried about this one breaking.
👤The pizza stone said in the description that there will be no smell. Before I used it, I cleaned it with JUST water and let it dry. The kitchen smelled like diesel fumes when I started preheating the stone in the oven. I was hoping it would go away quickly. No, it did not. I baked some dough to see if the smell would affect the flavor. Thankfully it did not. The pizza was great. There was no weird flavor in the bottom and middle. The smell of the stone was so strong that I got a headaches. Hopefully that odor will decrease after use. Time will tell. Either way, I will update this review. The peel is already warped after 1 use and needs a quick rinse and drying with a dish towel.
👤The pizza stone can be used as a tandoor oven. I made great garlic nanches. It makes Chinese scallion pancakes extra delicious. I love it!
👤Consistently makes a good crust. I've only used store bought dough so far, but I'll try to make it from scratch. Make sure you preheat stone for 25 minutes before grilling. It's a good size for a large amount of pies. I would recommend it to a friend.
👤I wanted to cut the stones to fit in my oven, so I bought two of them. That worked out well. The stones retain water. They have worked out well for me. The included pizza peel made me pick these stones among others that were almost the same type and cost. It is too small and thick to be worth anything. It wouldn't hold a baguette and it wouldn't hold a personal size pizza. It wouldn't be possible to slip it under anything. The stone is worth something.
👤Miniature pizzas that are 6 inches in diameter might work out for you. It's not going to happen to cook a proper 10-14 inch pizza. The pizza stone needs to be closer to 15x15 than it is to 15x12 because of the tiny peel. The stone will cause a mess on the bottom of the oven. If you have space restrictions in your oven that is the only time this will work out.
Before using the extra large pizza baking stone, wipe it with a damp cloth. It's perfect for pizza, bread, and cooking. They know you will get superb results every time. You will be able to blow away your friends and family with awesome pizza. A match for your grill, oven, or BBQ. The baking stone is larger than the pizza stone and still fits all standard ovens. Every bite is perfect. Their heat spiral stores heat in the center, which makes it easier to heat your Solido pizza stone. You will cook the top in the middle just as well as the ones on the edges. 👤I found this stone in the box after I received it. This is a very dirty stone.
👤I bought this stone in May 2020. I noticed a crack in the stone after using it for a month. After only 3 months in August 2020. The stone is useless. It cracked in half. I have been using it according to the instructions, but not very much. It was a disappointment for such an expensive item. The seller never responded to my email after I contacted them. Customer service and quality of an item are horrible. This pizza stone is not something I would recommend.
👤I bought a couple of stones for my house in the States and a house in the Caribbean. When I was a freshman in college, I started working at the first hole-in-the-wall pizza place in the area called DomiNicks, which was owned by Tom and James Monahan. Tom brought out his brother and changed the name to Dominos. I've owned a Wine Spectator Award, a beach front restaurant on the island that serves the best thin crust pizza in the Caribbean, and I have a little credibility in the pizza game. I like to cook at home. I ordered the Solido stone's for my houses. These are heavy and well made, and they do the job. You won't be disappointed if you just buy the things and make some great pie at home.
👤This does make good pizza according to other reviews. Until it breaks. As the oven was heating, having followed all care instructions to the letter, CRACK, as the oven was. Two clean. There is no warranty or returns. Very poor. This is not the place to review the stone, not this particular seller. They may have a better policy. 3 months? Is it worth getting a new one?
👤I have had a baking stone for over a decade. I bake a lot of pizza and bread so I needed a sturdy one that would stand up to wear and tear. I found cheap and thin ones in the kitchenware stores, but they are a waste of money. When I read the great reviews for this stone, I was a little skeptical. I wondered, "how much do these people use the stone?" Occasionally pizza? I placed my order after reading the product specifications. I was surprised by the quality of the stone. The stone was as thick as my old stone, with ridges on the bottom to increase strength. I used it right away and it was great. It fills the bottom rack of my oven. Almost all of it is in depth. The stone is large enough for a pizza or loaves of bread. This stone has had no issues so far, because I mist my oven with water to create steam. I was very happy with the purchase.
👤I would like to like this stone but I am still longing for my old Pampered Chef that broke 15 years ago. The replacement is heavy and sticky and doesn't work for me. I need a stone that a teenager can use. Lifting cinder blocks is similar to this. I don't recommend it for everyday family use. I won't put cookies on it like my old one.
