Best Baking Tins 9x13

👤This is the first thing I've ever returned and I love all clad. The pan is wider than the square photograph. It is not perfect. The sides are sloped. Not what I was looking for.

👤I washed it. It had a weird oily covering after washing it 3 times, which was a surprise. I was shocked at how heavy it was, so be careful if you don't have strong hands. The handles allow you to get it out of the oven.

👤Solid pans. The baked bread falls out of the pan without a problem. There is only one issue. The bread bulges out more on the top of the pans than it does on the bottom. The middle part of the loaf doesn't fit in a toast.

I need them right away and won't be returning them. I will not fall for that again. Next time, I will scrutinize the info more carefully.

👤We wanted to freeze our meals so we bought these. I'm sure there would be freezer burn if we left it in for a while, but that is not the fault of the pans. We could use plastic wrap or tin foil. We were unable to stack them on top of each other, more than a few, because we couldn't stack them opposite directions. I'm not sure if I can fault the pans since they weren't designed for that. My husband is trying to find a long term storage solution, not the basic storage price. These work great for basic storage stacked no more than 3 high opposite directions. They are not very strong, but once again, there is only so much you can expect at this price point, and these definitely meet that.

👤These are great for taking meals to people. There are many ways to help others in my church. I can give people food and they don't have to worry about it. I had missionaries to feed last week. I used 2 of these large ones to put the meatballs in. The covers were easy to use. I know how to balance them on my hands when lifting them up. I put the pans in a sturdy box to send them off. I pack salads and desserts in the smaller pans. I like to have these on hand. Great purchase.

👤The pans were everything we needed. I needed disposable pans for a fundraiser, but I usually make lasagna in a glass dish. I was concerned that the lasagna would burn. We had great reviews. The best part was that the lids were thick and didn't cause any risk of tearing or sinking on to the melted cheese. How to work with smaller dimensions on the bottom was one of the unknowns. It was easy to solve that by pinching the corners off of the noodles. I bought them for a cause. I'm thinking of using them for my family. They're cheap and convenient, less expensive than the pan bottom in most stores. I did not get paid for this plug. These pans are awesome!

👤Since they are the same size as half-size steam pans, but don't work for that purpose since they will fall into the pan, I got them. They don't hold a full gallon of regular half-size steam pans, which hold more than . They overflow if you put a gallon of liquid in them. Since the weight would cause them to collapse, you wouldn't fill them with a gallon of anything. I will use them for baking and other things, but I wish they were larger, like 9x13, so I don't have to use foil to cover dishes.

👤I use a lot of aluminum pans. I like to cook with aluminum pans and do a lot of barbecuing. They have a lot of uses where sturdiness is important. A large amount of baked beans from the south can be very heavy. We use the pans to make take home meals, store leftovers, and freeze leftovers with a good tinfoil seal. I have at least five different sizes in my pantry. The company has great, grade A quality products. I ordered them late in the afternoon and hoped I could get them before the engagement the next evening. I got them in time and they came early. All the way around it was great. I know it was a small item. If you care enough about your customers, you can have faith in future purchases. Soon, be ordering. It's been so long that a little positivity is needed.

👤It was great for my needs. I use the 9x13 pans in BBQ as a drip pan for dripping meats. I make gravy and sauces from the juices I collect. The coals should be split between the sides of the pan. Food can be put on top of the pan. A type of oven that smokes food is created by splitting the coals. It's a favorite to have smoked turkey for holidays.

👤If you need a 9 inch pan, don't buy these pans. The dimensions of the interior are 7.5 inches. The measurement from the outside edge of the pan is the same as the interior dimensions, but the picture shows them differently. This tiny pan will be overflowed by recipes that call for a 9 inch pan. The pan is shallow at 1.75 inches and adds insult to injury. You'll probably have problems with a recipe that asks for an 8 inch pan. I'm hoping I can get a refund for this false advertising. I hope people read this review and don't end up with an overflowed cake in their oven.

👤400 degrees will warp the pan. It was taken out of the oven and returned to normal shape. I haven't seen what happens at 350 or 375. It's safe up to 500 degrees on the Calphalon website. It's completely false, and maybe it's because on that site it says "item unavailable." They probably got a lot of complaints that it wasn't up to par. Sometimes it may not matter if you clean it right away or not, because it may stain permanently, and other reviewers warn to clean it right away. Calphalon, swing and miss.

👤We found the best Calphalon brownie pan. We would not have bought a second one if we were fans. It's the perfect size for our oven. The finish seems to last for a couple of years. It will warp at high temperatures. The brand name is hard to clean because it is in the middle of the pan. I hope Calphalon fixes that before we need another replacement.

👤I was very disappointed in this purchase. I purchased 9x9 pans because the 8x8 pans I had previously purchased were smaller than I wanted my cakes to be. These pans are 8X8 and not 9X9. I had 50 and now have 80. The size of the cake they'll produce is determined by the top of the pan where the lip is. Oh my gosh! Not a happy customer at all!

These are the perfect size for 3 or 4 to have a good meal and are less expensive than buying them at the grocery store. I wrap my grocery store ones in cling wrap before covering them with foil. 👤I love these pans. I replaced some of the pans that had covers. I liked the pans but the non-stick material came off after just a few months of use. It was a cheap pan. This pan is completely different. It's made of quality materials, is easy to wash, and is great for storing leftovers. The raised lid allows you to store taller foods. Several people had commented on the reviews that the pans are hard to open. I thought the same thing. I'm glad I didn't return them. I've been opening them wrong for a while. I feel dumb. If you look at the sides of the pan, you'll see four small cracks. I've been trying to open the pan with these four notch and it was frustrating at times. I came here to write a review because other people are doing the same thing. The way to open these pans is to use a long notch between the two smaller ones. There are two long marks on each side of the pan. It's true! It was easy! There are no problems opening the pans now. I bought two of these pans and love them now that I know how to open them. I hope that this review helps you.

👤I love it! I made a cake for my daughter's birthday instead of buying one and needed a great baking pan with a lid. The pan was non-stick. I didn't have to use anything extra for the first time. The cake came out of the pan with ease. The pan was easy to clean. I used a sponge and dish soap after I ran it under hot water. If I can find them, I want more in different sizes and shapes. The lid was hard to get off and a lot of other people said it was complicated. No, it's not at all. I don't know what they were doing, but the cake is protected, soft and moist for days, and is easy to take off, even though I don't know what they were doing. Do one side at a time.

👤I use this pan for a lot of baking. It is everything that was claimed and described. You can tell it is a winner when you unpack it. The weight and workmanship are excellent. I don't put my bakeware in the dishwasher, but I do hand wash it. This is a non-stick surface. I don't use heavy metal utensils because of the non-stick finish. I only use a standard inner knife for cutting and slicing food in this pan, anything requiring a sharp edge knife is removed from the pan. The line of Circulon bakeware is true to its claim. Thank you. No rust, stick, warp, or hassle.

👤If I was the seller, I would include a photo with the measurements where you have all the other photos. The total length, including handles, was not mentioned in the sellers info. It won't fit in my oven. The dimensions are shown in a photo. You can see from your feedback that the dimensions are confusing. I like the quality of it. I will keep it for use in an oven. 👤The buyer should beware. I should have read more carefully. These are not ceramic. They are made of clay and hardened by heat. We use them in the library kitchen. When they arrived, I realized they were not ceramic, but we had a program to use them. Two of the three are scratched. I assumed they were ceramic because of the product heading. I didn't dig a lot deeper than that. I knew that ceramic would be perfect for our kitchen. The descriptions say they are a heavy duty steel. Why are they listed as ceramic? Lesson learned. Read the whole thing. The product heading can be misleading.

👤This pan is not the same as my ceramic fry pans. The coating is very thin. I can use metal utensils, but this pan scratches very easily. I used the pan even though I noticed a few marks in the ceramic coating. I used a metal spatula to remove my brownies from the counter. It is easy to clean, and I will use it for simple baking that can be easily removed from the pan with plastic or silicone utensils.

The image on the ad makes you think of grandma's heavy-duty ceramic that is non-stick. Not a chance! I might find out that it's not necessary to have a heavy-duty ceramic "Grandma Cake Pan". Just what I was looking for. I will find out soon. I didn't post until all the data was collected. Now for the results. One of the pans was scratched by a kitchen knife. What you would use on a heavy constitution and lots of shredded chicken. The results were very impressive. If I had known that they were not real ceramic, I wouldn't have selected them. Misleading! Shame on you! Pros: Sturdy! And? It is easy to clean Attractive.

👤I wanted to eat them. I bought a full set of cookware. The pans work fine as pans, but every time I wash them, water gets trapped inside the edges. You don't know it's there because you can't see it. You can't dry it because it's inside a fold. I am sick and tired of cleaning rusty water off my floor, cabinets, other dishes, and I just can't wait to move it. The edges are folded under and finished.

👤My enthusiasm for this pan cooled after several uses. The frittata I refer to is now sticks badly even with greasing. The original review said that it looked like the baked frittata I made. I used it for corn bread and needed a pan of this size. Both items were baked to order. I had been using a Pyrex baker for some frittatas, and while it did a good job overall, this pan gave a superior result. I prepared the pan with a light greasing to help with easy release, and both the frittata and corn released very easily. I would definitely recommend it.

👤I got this pan because I wanted it to be as good as the ones I had before. I was wrong about it being sturdy and good. The pan was stained after I began using it. I didn't find it very easy to clean because it was stained and things did stick to it at times, even though I used oil to coat it. I contacted OXO before the warranty ended and they agreed to send me a replacement pan if I returned my pan. I received the new pan. The customer service was positive and the communication was good. The second pan had the same issues as the first. I concluded that this is a low quality product and not worth the hassle of getting a new one. It is difficult to deal with companies that have defects that are the result of poor quality or bad quality control. If you don't expect excellent non-stick performance and accept staining and/or warping, this pan is still okay. There are many cheaper alternatives with the same flaws.

👤I can't give you a lot of feedback about the cake pan. It's well made with reliable construction, like most OXO products. Too few things in this world accomplish that much, and it does what you ask of it. Sometimes we are grateful for small things. I was drawn to the non-stick attribute of this pan. It fulfilled that promise as well. In the last few months, I've done a lot of cooking in this pan, from paleo lasagna to chicken tray bakes. Some of those escapades would have been eligible for the "before" images in a TV ad for dish soap. The price for that non-stick status, however, is that you have to wash the pan according to the instructions that came on the package. The documentation says you can't put this in the dishwasher or lose the slick surface. I have not dared to challenge those instructions. I'm more likely to reach for another baking tin if I hand-wash anything.

👤Oxo is great, but this one was amiss for me. It was purchased in Nov 2020 and is now in August 2021. I only cleaned it with a plastic scraper, fingernail brush or toothbrush because I didn't want to use metal on it. The finish is not just a "flaking" issue, it is actually pealing off and rusting. I can no longer use the pealing because I am looking for a more durable replacement. I will not be buying this product again because it is not long lasting.

👤The pan has straight sides which I wanted for sheet cakes. The cake batter cooks evenly with no puffy top or sunken middle, but completely level. After cooling for 10 minutes, it released perfectly. There was a carrot cake with fruit but it didn't stick. It is exactly what I wanted and to be able to trust that my cakes will bake evenly, come out clean and be level is worth every penny. There was no wasted time or expensive ingredients.

👤I was looking for a metal pan for brownies. The William-Sonoma Goldtouch Non-stick is a good medium between the pale and dark pan that under- and over- bake, and it has straight sides and corners so everything bakes evenly. I was put off by the non-stick since I am avoiding that word like a plague. Why did I purchase this appliance? Not all non-sticks are created equal. The process of making PTFE uses PFOA, which is used in non-stick cookware. Non-sticks are made of ceramic or Silicone. The packaging only says "Cuisinart® Chef's Classic", not very reassuring. The online description says that the Xylan Non-Stick Interior and Exterior still means nothing to me. Xylan for bakeware is an ideal combination of price and performance for OPP and promotional bakeware and for oven items not subjected to high abuse. It is a low-cure system. The outstanding release is provided by Silicone. Xylan for bakeware can be marketed as Made without PFOA. The champagne color of the pan is what William-Sonoma offers without the hefty price, and it is straight enough and my brownies didn't over bake in the corners. The pan is large and sturdy. Cleaning is easy. I only use the soft side of the sponge when washing since it is non-stick. The pan performs well and I am happy with it. I am okay with this non-stick until they discover more things that kill us. The decadent brownies are a worthy death for now. There are 13” x 9” interior measurements and a heavy gauge of aluminized steel.

👤A higher grade of aluminum is combined with an attractive finish akin to a lighter shade of what Apple calls "rose gold" on its phones and laptops. Highly recommended.
