Best Baking Tins for Cakes

👤The set is a great price. My daughter and I made a cake for the first time. The cakes slid out of the pan after she lined it with crisco. The first time we made a tiered cake, we used a piece of paper from the show "Nailed It". No sticking and easy clean up! Excellent bakeware for kids on up.

👤The bottoms were messed up the first time they were put in the dishwasher.

👤The 6 inch pan is the one I finally got to use. The cake grows outside of the pan when I use it. I measure the pan. It's 15 cm inside. The bottom of the pan is smaller than the top. If you want to make 3 egg chiffon cake, you'll have to use a pan. I like the 8 inch pan. The 6 inch is disappointing. I never got a chance to use 4 inch.

👤They worked well for my daughter's wedding cake, however, it's important to know that you need a big daddy center heating rod to bake the cake. It doesn't come with the pan set, but it should as your cake won't cook in the center without it!

👤The pan was used a second time. I washed the pan before using it, and it came out great. After washing the pan, and using it a couple weeks later, the pan formed RUST because water got stuck in the bottom fold. The Rust leaked into the crust. The second use of this pan is in photos. I don't know how to remove the water from the bottom fold so it won't rust. The non-stick layer came off my cheesecake. I used a plastic utensil to remove the cake from the pan and the film came off and ruined it. I was very disappointed and returned the pan.

👤My mother is a baker par excellence and had been using an aluminum springform for 40 years. After being knocked around for so long, it finally began to leak. It was necessary to replace it and it needed to be good. After reading the reviews, I tried this one but held off on my own review until Mom made a dessert. She said the pan was perfect. It's perfect if she says so.

👤The pan's bottom design is not right. The lip on the bottom section almost forces you to install it in the ring, rather than down. This will make you destroy your cheese cake to get it out of the pan. I have been making 9" cheesecakes for a long time. I give them as gifts. My daughter's wedding was the one where I baked them. I decided to go with 10 cakes because my 9 pans were worn out and the USPS frozen them for 10 cakes. You should keep looking.

👤I wanted a way to make fresh pizzas at home that I could control the calories in, but I couldn't find a way to do that until I found these pans. I buy the freshly made pizza dough in the bakery section at the grocery store, divide it into 6 equal parts, let it warm up to room temperature, then I spread it with my fingers into one of the pans which I lightly oiled, and then roll out each piece on a board and The last step is your choice, and you can pile it on without worry of a mess since the springboard pans keep everything nicely contained and easy to remove after baking. Then eat 18 minutes later in the 400 degree oven or wrap in foil and place in a freezer storage bag. The calories are not very high if you shop at the grocery store. I use multigrain. I can make and bake pizzas at the same time with the 6 pans I have. These pans are easy to use and it's great to have fresh pizzas made at home.

👤Good pan. Excellent quality. There were never any problems with leaking. I was not happy with how shallow it is. I can only fit a pound of meat in the pan for some recipes. Many of the 7inch pans are 3” deep. This one has a huge difference in volume and cook times. I prefer the spring form over trying to push a bottom out. It's something to consider for your personal purchase needs.

👤I wanted to bake some mini cakes so I bought these cups. The packaging is poor. They do not put them in a box. Just bubble wrap, tape and a bag. 5 were damaged from the first order. I ordered 100 more and the package I received was in bad shape. Quality is great. The cups should be sent in boxes. It's a great product. I have to throw away more than 10 cups every time we order.

👤It was received as promised. Black and gold is a stylish look. I ordered a set of 50. I need 50 chicken pies for a church event. There are only 43 in this pack and I did not receive the full amount. What to do now? Some described the damage to the cups. A few of mine were damaged. Since they are thin metal, I could use them with no problem. The missing items need to be addressed. This is a big problem for me, someone needs to learn to count.

👤It's perfect for pop up events. A single portion. Some of the lids had to be taped on because they were warped. Would buy again.

👤I love baking in these containers because they don't lose color. The containers are large enough to hold a lot of food. I wouldn't recommend these containers anymore because they don't fit properly. You have to make sure one container is secured. It is not worth the hassle for $23 dollars.

👤The old Teflon coated aluminum thing I used for decades has been replaced by the non-stick muffin and cupcake pan. The weight was the first thing I noticed. This is a serious piece of cookware that weighs at least twice as much as my old muffin pan. It feels great handling it. The slick surface is next. When you peel off the advertising stickers, you get your first taste of this surface. Normally, you would have to use a knife or a blow up device to get these stickers off, but they peeled off without tearing. I give a quick mist of Pam to the muffins when they fall out because I don't want them to be buttered or sprayed. It is amazing! The muffin cups have more batter in them than my old muffin tin. I'm giving the Wilton Premium Non-Stick Muffin Pan a big, fat five stars.

👤The muffins turned out great, just like the product claims. Very strong. I was a bit heavy to lift with one hand. I used cupcake liners, but for the little browns on top, there was no need to clean them.

If you soak it in the baking powder it will allow the egg to come off. "Not" again. It rusted in two of the cups after it was let to soak. I used a dish rag to clean it. When I had the chance, I didn't return it.

👤I was skeptical since others had said that, but mine came in perfect. I'm ordering another one because it feels formidable and has no dents or damage. I can make 24 cupcakes. There are recipes underneath the stickers that come on it. Carefully peel them off. The pan was hurt when people yanked them off. If you are at risk of impatience, take them off. 2. Baking cups are a good way to keep your pans nice. 3. If you don't use all the spaces when you bake, be sure to fill the empty spaces with water before you put it in the oven. My mom taught me that it protects the empty compartments during baking. Baking is good!

👤The first couple only use it and then everything sticks. The pan in the pics is washed and doesn't come off.

👤They are great for brownies. It was almost completely cleaned by looking at it. We did a round of cinnamon rolls and left 888-353-1299 I don't think that's a good sign as it will accumulate over time. I tried soaking in water overnight but it wouldn't come off. I left it because messing with it would damage it. I think it will last a long time before we have a problem with brownies. The second pan died, but that's on me. I thought I could bake two chicken breasts in it. Don't do that. I would recommend them for cake and brownies. I'm sure they will last as long as any good non-stick pans do. I will stick with glass because I don't have to watch for the kids damaging the non-stick with metal utensils.

👤These pans are wonderful. The price is worth it. They are easy to clean up. The cook did not make a mistake. False advertising is the problem. How can it be dishwasher safe, come with a 5 year warranty, and then tell you not to use it in the dishwasher because thepods will damage the finish? They should not be allowed to put that on the front label because it is not dishwasher safe.

👤There is an update. I did not cook in the pan at the time I wrote the five star review. I only used it one time to make brownies and used a plastic spatula to remove them, but I noticed that some of the coating was already coming off the bottom. That is not acceptable. I don't know how much will come off, but none of it should be coming off. I am changing my review. I thought they sent me the two pan set when I unboxed it. I thought there were two pans stuck together when I ordered the single pan. I have not baked anything in it yet, but it looks very sturdy and definitely for the price of $5.67 you could not find that anywhere of this quality. I will update if there are any issues, but it doesn't seem like there will be. I am not a major cook. It is not like I am used to high end cooking equipment, but it looks very sturdy and more than I would need. If you are a gourmet cook with $200 cooking equipment, I don't know how you would feel about it, but I don't see how anyone would feel that it wasn't nice.

👤I like USA products. You have to take care of them. Don't run them in the dishwasher, and you should line the pans with aluminum foil. You might wonder why you do this when you have a good pan. The pan's heat conductivity is one of the things you are paying for. If you cut it with a sharp object, it will be replaced within a year. Don't cut in the pan with metal, just treat it well and line it.

👤I will be replacing some of the pieces that are burning up my baked goods. A friend of mine highly recommended this brand and when shopping in a big box store this past weekend, I scored a 2 pack of the baking sheets for the price of one. I ordered the additional items because of the quality of the sheets. I'm looking forward to using them. The weight and non-stick surfaces are selling points. I did not appreciate how they were packaged. There is a pan on the floor. See the picture. I don't expect to hear clanging, banging and scratching when you buy products that are highly recommended and expensive, because they are poorly packed. It's a totally unwarranted act. Keeping costs down and saving the environment would have been the right thing to do if there had been more squares of bubble wrap or air packs to cushion and separate the items.

👤USA pans are very good. I use them for all of my pans because I bake so much. Always bakes evenly and never sticks. It's easy to clean.

👤I was looking for a pan that wouldn't rust. I have had bad luck no matter what I spend. The pan has been great so far. It's easy to clean. It says not to use spray on it. I was skeptical. I haven't had a stick yet. I plan to purchase other pans from this line.

👤My pan was damaged before it arrived. It doesn't sit on my counter. I am not sure if it was due to the packaging of the distributor, but my other USA pan arrived with some protection around it and is in good shape. I don't understand why the distributor would package metal with no protection at all. I would expect more for the price. Unless you have time to deal with returns and exchanges, I wouldn't recommend. I was hoping to use my pan at the event, but I won't have time to exchange it before we leave.

👤I have used these pans many times. A box of cake mix will fill a pan at a time. They get hot quickly. The product was great for the price. To prevent sticking, butter and flower the pans. I lined up with paper.

👤You get a nice cake. I put wax paper in the bottom and butter the sides. I peel off the wax paper when it's ready to frost. It was smooth every time.

👤Baking multiple layers for a tiered cake is much easier with the two sets of pans I have. These pans are much deeper than the store bought ones. They allow for a lot of bigger cakes. They are not non-stick. Baking spray won't take care of anything. You have to find out what works best for you and your recipes. I have never had a problem with getting a cake out of these. They are light because they are aluminum, which is awesome when you pull that 12" one out of the oven. Make sure you handle them with care because they will dent. Even if they don't do it, your cakes will turn out just fine. I would recommend these to anyone who is new to baking. For those who say their cakes are not evenly baked, it's not the pans. You may need to change the shape of your cakes. If your oven is cooking evenly, you can bake up a pan of biscuits or croissants. You can put toast on the rack. Pull them out once it's all cooked up and check for even browning. This grid will show you which parts of the oven are cooking faster than others. Baking is good!

👤Don't order these if you want the deep pans. I have to return them twice. The product description isn't correct and hasn't been fixed. The situation wouldn't be fixed by sending deep pans.

👤I decided to make my own cake. I got a lot of strange looks and statements. I used an old family Apple cake recipe to make a naked cake with cinnamon buttercream frosting between the 9 layers. I lightly oiled the pans and sprinkled some sugar in before putting the batter in, giving the outside a nice crisp brown layer. The layers came out perfectly, only the first one had a small stick to the pan, which was my fault. They worked perfectly. The set is worth the price.

👤I have been making cakes with these for a long time. These pans are the best I have found to bake cakes with level and evenly baked cakes regardless of the oven type I use. If you haven't purchased any other pans from other manufacturers, these may be more lightweight than you think, but they tend to last a bit better than the other pans I've bought. I haven't had any issues with the center of the larger ones not baking even without using something special to help. I would recommend these for ease of use, quality, and convenience.

👤I'm back to baking high quality layer cakes, thanks to these absolutely perfect pans, with their matching cooling racks. You can use one box of cake mix, divide it between the two pans, and bake at 350 degrees for 33 minutes.

👤It is made of steel. I can make it with tomato dishes. It is hard to scratch aluminum. It is not very heavy. The steamer hook tool can be used to carry the pan out of the instant port. They work well together. I use the rack to keep the meat out of the liquid in the pan and not boiling it in the liquid. The instant port is a good place to make steam cake. It's a perfect accessory.
