Best Baking Tins Set

👤I have baked for over 40 years. I don't like aluminum because it doesn't work well in the dishwasher and for health reasons. Quality pans that check all the boxes are what I need. I bought the 6 inch cake pans from this company and was impressed, so I came back for more sizes. The quality was the same. They are heavy enough to bake well without being too heavy. The non stick cake pans will brown the cakes. The cakes can rise to a nice thickness because they have that extra height. They are pretty when they go through the dishwasher. I grease and flour my pans and put it in the bottom with no problem. Even though you take precautions, some pans stick. Even without the dishwasher, they clean up well. I am very pleased. The box they come in is good quality and I can put the cake pans on a shelf with the size written on it.

I like to stack these 6” cakes from now on because they make the most adorable cakes. They were easy to clean. I used non stick spray and paper liners that came with my purchase. They fill two pans and 4 cupcakes with boxed cake.

I've gotten into baking in the past year, but didn't want to make cakes because who needs a full size cake just sitting around? Unless you're having a party. I know I don't. It's a choice between low-fat and sugar-free. I can make half a regular pan recipe and come out with the same number of layers. Still makes 8 pieces. It seems to bake evenly. I grease and use a paper round in the bottom to make sure the cakes come out smooth. It is easy to clean up.

👤These pans heat up fast so be careful when baking with them. The cake batter is a little too heavy on the outside and underdone in the middle. It isn't that big of a deal that they are small cakes. Baking in a water bath should help it bake more evenly. I haven't tried those methods yet.

👤They are great for brownies. It was almost completely cleaned by looking at it. We did a round of cinnamon rolls and left 888-353-1299 I don't think that's a good sign as it will accumulate over time. I tried soaking in water overnight but it wouldn't come off. I left it because messing with it would damage it. I think it will last a long time before we have a problem with brownies. The second pan died, but that's on me. I thought I could bake two chicken breasts in it. Don't do that. I would recommend them for cake and brownies. I'm sure they will last as long as any good non-stick pans do. I will stick with glass because I don't have to watch for the kids damaging the non-stick with metal utensils.

👤These pans are wonderful. The price is worth it. They are easy to clean up. The cook did not make a mistake. False advertising is the problem. How can it be dishwasher safe, come with a 5 year warranty, and then tell you not to use it in the dishwasher because thepods will damage the finish? They should not be allowed to put that on the front label because it is not dishwasher safe.

👤There is an update. I did not cook in the pan at the time I wrote the five star review. I only used it one time to make brownies and used a plastic spatula to remove them, but I noticed that some of the coating was already coming off the bottom. That is not acceptable. I don't know how much will come off, but none of it should be coming off. I am changing my review. I thought they sent me the two pan set when I unboxed it. I thought there were two pans stuck together when I ordered the single pan. I have not baked anything in it yet, but it looks very sturdy and definitely for the price of $5.67 you could not find that anywhere of this quality. I will update if there are any issues, but it doesn't seem like there will be. I am not a major cook. It is not like I am used to high end cooking equipment, but it looks very sturdy and more than I would need. If you are a gourmet cook with $200 cooking equipment, I don't know how you would feel about it, but I don't see how anyone would feel that it wasn't nice.

👤I bought this set because my set was packed. We are moving. I read the reviews and thought these would be a good replacement set. They leak a lot. The cake was all over the oven. What a mess. I would return them if I could. It leaks everywhere. Don't buy it.

👤I bought this for the 8” pan to bake a birthday cake because I am an avid cook and baker. I have used it twice, and I regret buying it. There was a slight leak during the first use. The cake came out great. I dried it by hand and let it air dry. I put it away and it was fine. I noticed the pan was rusted after I baked another cake that called for the 8” pan. I was shocked that my baking/cooking pans had developed rust after only using it once, because I always take special care in the cleaning of my baking/cooking pans to make them last longer. I thought it couldn't be rust. Maybe it is leftover chocolate from a cake I made. I used it to bake my next cake after I cleaned it and scrubbed the areas with rust. There was more leaking this time. More than what I remembered from the first time, but nothing crazy. I put foil around the base to stop it from leaking and baked my cake. It baked well. I took extra precautions in cleaning and drying the pan to make sure it didn't have any leftover cake or rust. I left it to air dry after towel drying it. I checked it a couple weeks later after putting it away. And guess what? There was rust. The base of the pan doesn't fit in the round. There are gaps in the pictures and they don't fit together anymore. I can't use this again in the future. I paid a lot of money for pre-cut parchment because I won't be using the pans anymore. Great. I regret buying this because I thought it was a steal for the price and was influenced to get it by the large number of positive reviews. I will have to buy new pans. The brand names are slightly more expensive. Don't buy this product and spend your money.

👤I tried to bake a cake. The pan leaked and the cake came out mostly OK. The cake is difficult to release from the bottom plate. I think using a different batter type and using a different paper in the future will help. The offset spatula and icing smoother are in this set. I think I might be able to use these again for other things. Overall, I don't recommend this set.

👤I wanted a set of pans to bake cakes in when I started baking as a hobby. I didn't know that the pans were better for thicker batter, but it wasn't an issue. I put it in the water to see if there were any leaks. I put my cakes in the tin with some foil/parchment paper and it came out perfect. It was easy to remove the cake from the unlocked tin and make my life better. I used these tins to bake 3 cakes for my daughter's birthday and they all came out great. My next goal is to bake a cheesecake in these boys.

The easiest to pop out were the Muffins that were in liners.

👤The low price made me worry that these would be subpar. I am glad I ordered them. I use them every two weeks to make egg/sausage/vegetable muffins that I can freeze for breakfast in the morning. They are cheaper than the boxed ones. I don't mind the egg muffins sticking in the pans. I don't think the more expensive name brand ones could do more than these do. I like them so much that I'm buying another set to make double batches. These pans are recommended by me. I have had them for a year. I use them about 3 times a month. At first, they were perfect. I am throwing them away because everything sticks. I think they are worth it because of how cheap they are and how frequently I use them, but if you plan on using yours more I would look elsewhere.

👤I bought this item a year ago because it was a non-stick baking pan. The pan worked well for a while. When I baked a bunch of brownies recently, cooled them and removed them from the pan, I noticed the bottom of several of the brownies had pan coating that made them inedible. When I washed the pan, I noticed that one of the parts had lost its coating and that there was some rust in it. I contacted the manufacturer of the pan and they told me that the pans are meant for baked goods only and that any other food source will affect the coating. The paper we recommend is parchment. The pans have to be sprayed with a baking spray or coated with shortening and flour. We will be glad to replace the pan as a one-time courtesy if you send us a photo of the pan. Allow up to 3 weeks to receive. We try to send the same size, but it may be a different pan than you have. I was surprised to learn that their pan was not stick free even though it has non-stick coating. I used Pam and it came off into the food. The item can be used for brownies, cake, Lasagna, casseroles, but only baked goods according to the description. I don't use plastic or Silicon tools with this pan. The coating is failing and coming off in the food. I gave it a rating of 2 because it lasted a year. I received a replacement pan from Wilton today. The item is the same size, dark coating and has a 10 year warranty. The rating has been upgraded from 2 stars to 3 stars.

👤A few months ago, I was excited to get a couple of new pans. The first couple of times I used them, they didn't stick too much, but soon thereafter, they began sticking badly. I have to work really hard to get the food off after I soak them. I don't use metal utensils and wash them with a sponge labeled as safe for use on non-stick surfaces. The food sticks like glue and there are rough black spots. I only use them occasionally, but now there is rust around the edges and corners, and it is so bad the last couple of times, I am ready to throw them in the trash. I'm going to buy a different brand of pans. The lids are hard to get off as they fit tightly. One is a bad choice.

You may need to change the shape of your cakes. If your oven is cooking evenly, you can bake up a pan of biscuits or croissants. You can put toast on the rack. Pull them out once it's all cooked up and check for even browning. This grid will show you which parts of the oven are cooking faster than others. Baking is good!

👤I decided to make my own cake. I got a lot of strange looks and statements. I used an old family Apple cake recipe to make a naked cake with cinnamon buttercream frosting between the 9 layers. I lightly oiled the pans and sprinkled some sugar in before putting the batter in, giving the outside a nice crisp brown layer. The layers came out perfectly, only the first one had a small stick to the pan, which was my fault. They worked perfectly. The set is worth the price.

👤This is the worst item I've ever bought on Amazon. On my first use, the coating on the pans started to come off. They look gross when the coating comes off because of the stickiness of the coat and the fact that it can't be removed completely. The best way to describe the texture of the coating is semi-melted saran wrap. Don't buy. Total waste of money. Buy the ones from Wilton instead.
