Best Baking Tools Storage

👤In love with this set. There are so many tips to choose from. I was helped to learn how to decorate cakes with ease, and photos should show how easy it was to learn. Pink flowers were the first cake to be baked using this set. My daughter loves it too. She is 12.

👤I was somewhat disappointed when I received it, but realized how small it was. The case was broken when it was taken out of the box. The majority of the tips are bent. The bags are thin and the plastic ones aren't going to hold anything. It is a waste of money.

👤This is the first thing I bought to use in my at- home cake decorating kit. The kit comes with a small amount of everything I needed for the cupcakes I made for my child's first birthday party. As the years go on, I will be replacing some of the items with higher quality ones. I'm a little above your average at- home baker because I worked in a commercial bakery for many years and did some basic decorating. The kit gave me everything I needed, a great array of decorating tips, and easy storage to keep it all together. If you've been in the business for a while, you should keep looking. This is a great little kit for beginners.

I gave them to my 13 year old to practice with. I bought more from the store and a different seller on Amazon. A friend of mine wanted the exact set and the large star tip was bent. I would probably do something else. I didn't buy the same one because I wanted something different.

👤My 4 year old is learning how to cook. I went to find a set that was safe for kids after reading a children's cookbook. It was afraid in the container. Each piece is individually packaged. The colors are vibrant without being neon. It had a chef's hat and apron. Measuring cups and spoons, chopping board, knives, and kid friendly knives. A spatula, ladle, timer, whisk, cookie cutter. I'm still teaching him about kitchen safety and how to clean up, even though I haven't tried them yet.

It was more cost effective to purchase this as a set and everything matches as well, even though I had looked at buying items individually. I would purchase again for future gifts for my niece and nephew.

👤Wow! This product has saved my life. I had no pest problem before the storm. I had a lot of ants in my house after the flood waters subsided. They were in everything. I searched the internet for something that would keep my pantry items out. I ordered them on the spot after finding them with great reviews. I called a pest control service and scheduled an appointment to have them come spray my house while I waited for them. These arrived. I put my new sugars and spices in the containers. I had some ice cream and put my bowl in the sink. I woke up to a lot of ants. I was in full panic because our pest control guy wasn't coming until the next day. I couldn't believe I was so stupid. I cleaned my counter again. Everything in my cabinets was untouched when I opened them. The ants did not approach the cabinet. They couldn't smell the sugar. The containers are life saving. If we have flood waters again, I'm no longer worried. They are very easy to use. I am so thankful for the amazing product made by OXO.

👤Love the product. They opened them to find out that the smaller containers didn't seal properly. I wasted a lot of time trying to get Amazon to stand behind the product. I was told to contact the manufacturer. Don't waste your time getting this product, because if it's faulty, Amazon won't stand behind it.

👤I bought these about a month ago to organize my pantry. They look nice and seem to be sturdy, but they are advertised as being air tight. The sugar formed into a brick and the cereals were not fresh after a couple weeks. The freshness of sugar and cereals in their original opened bags is more important than the freshness of these containers. You would expect these to work for $100. The seal is so weak that I can easily pull the lid off after pressing the button. It looks like it might be a fairly common occurrence, but I think mine are malfunctioning.

👤If you grab them from the top of the container, the lid will come off. The old style of containers have a rounded lid. Your food will become old.

👤It was arrived in a timely manner. Storage containers from OXO are great. The seal works well and protects items. The container size of the brown sugar is the biggest issue with this set. I don't know what bags of brown sugar they are putting in there, but the ones available in my area barely fit, leaving no room or space for the clay piece to keep the brown sugar moist and not hardened. The container should have been half the size of the containers. It should have been like the 2 quart size. This set would have been perfect if not for that.

A professional cake turntable stand is available for beginners and more experienced. With. The cake turntable has a ring on it. It's much easier to make cake with an upgrade because you don't have to worry about sliding it off the counter. The cake stand spins very smoothly and there is no noise like the turntable. When you are done, use the included brush to clean the turntable. She is about to start her third cake. Everything you need to start baking and decorating cakes is included in the baking kit. 👤This only has 26 large tips and 9 small tips. It fits the Russian regular and Ball tips. It can hold my other large tips, but it doesn't have the capacity described. There are 35 locations for 37 tips. There are open areas in both corners. I don't consider them locations for large tips because there is no way to keep them in place. The center area appears to be for a large vehicle. One of the Russian Ball tips is taller than the others. I am able to close the case despite the top hitting the cover. Large tips are not made for the protrusion that you place over them. The size of the protrusion is the same for both large and small tips. The large tips are not held in the correct position for cover closing. When cover is closed, the tips should not fall over. I was able to close the case by stacking 3 of the flat top tips together. I expected to see all the tips together, but I am not able to. There is a The opening in the cover is too small for the large tips and the small tip locations are too close together, so you can't use them for the large tips. It's not ideal to put another tip case on top of the case because it's not flat. I would have liked to have counted the number of large tip spaces. The description is not accurate. The base of the center location was not shown in my photo. The tip is 1/2 inch lower than the other flat top large tips. I think it's for a large person. I hope this helps someone make a better decision. ATECO should have provided a better description of the case. It's disappointing to see misleading descriptions. I am going to look for a case that can hold a lot of tips.

👤I am very pleased with the quality of the 52 tip case and the extra space for flower nails and couplers. It holds standard, small tips and keeps them in place when closed. I like the way they sit on their pegs, so you can see the top of each tip. Hard plastic is what the closure is made of. I plan to be very careful opening the case. It closes securely so far. I am not worried about it opening on its own. This is a very nice case and I am pleased with the price.

👤I bought two containers to hold my larger tips and Russian icing. They fit well. They had cracked and broken corners on the lids. It is not a product problem because my other Ateco containers are the same material and undamaged. The pieces from the corners weren't in the box from Amazon so the damage happened before being shipped to me. I will be ordering more containers for my other tips.

Baking supplies such as food coloring, pie weights, and pastry tubes can be stored in this container. I stack them high. It has to weigh around 10 pounds. I don't want to push it, but it would probably hold a little more weight. It is not a tool, but it will keep lightweight items organized.

👤I come back for more because the sets stack well. You can arrange how you like if you have multiple units. It is helpful to put two or four bins together. I like them, but they are hard to use. Sometimes I need to adjust a bin to get the one I want. The snap is very secure but can be a little difficult to open and close. They do snap into place. They are great for organizing. I have a few for my collection. I have more sewing supplies. I don't have to hunt through a mess. I have all my sewing tools in one set. My sewing machine and pattern drafting tools are in two other places. I have collected sewing tools for 30 years. The storage sets fit on a cart or shelf. You can see what is in them if you look through them. When I want to rearrange things, I put labels on them that peel off the plastic. These are good but not great. They have been making these for a long time. I got them over 10 years ago and they are the same. Everything looks clean. I only had one break off.

If you're looking for a kit that will get you going in the right direction without spending a ton of money, this is the one for you. It has everything you need to make your cakes look amazing even for beginners, and it has over a dozen decorating tips. It comes with a cake knife, spatula, many icing bags and even a round Silicone cake ball maker. I am sure there are many other things you could add to this kit, but for now it will get you going. The only flaw I found was that the carrier didn't close properly. You can see in the picture that it bulges out where it shouldn't, but once you play with it you can get it to open. It's a pretty good kit.

The metal tips, Silicone items, spatula, spread knife are all great quality! We probably won't use the cheaply made plastic pieces. The piping bags are small but the tips look great and the sheet that shows you what each one looks like is amazing. Baking cups, cookie cutters, cake flower lifter, spatula, piping pen, scrapers and cleaning brush are other items. The box that holds everything is a three tiered box that can be opened. This is an awesome bargain because I have a lot of the tools included in the kit and have a lot of money invested. 👤We opened the package after we received it. This well known brand has decided to make this item cheaply. When opening the package, the rust was visible immediately. It was very let down. I will not purchase items from Wilton.

👤They seem to be making them differently. There are no double wires that run through it. It's now very hot! These are very bad with them. Place a loaf of banana bread on top of a pumpkin roll and they bow in the middle, the legs spread out and the rack collapses. All 3 are the same. It's horrible for wilton. Don't waste your money if you don't use them. It's great for baking. They're so handy that I have 4 sets left.

After using paper towels on the table to cool cookies and turning bread out onto the electric elements on the stove top, I decided to stop being cheap and get some cooling racks. I did a bit of research before buying these racks. I was happy to say that I was pleased with my purchase after trying them for the first time. The racks are easy to clean. I washed them before using and they dried quickly. It is ready to use in a few minutes. I decided to try the stacking feature because I have a large working surface. They stack easily and securely so you can be confident that your baked goods won't fall. I was able to store the cookies in a freezer bag after a few minutes of cooling. I was able to refill the rack several times, leaving enough time between trays for the cookies to cool and be bags. Every time, the cookies were released. I put the racks in the sink for a quick clean up after baking. It is very easy to clean and dry. I'll be making a few loaves of bread tomorrow. I am confident that the racks will be useful again. I bought the mixer and it's been the best investment I've made. If you are looking for a good quality cooling rack, you will be happy with this purchase.

👤A company used to make the exact same thing. I think it was Keter. I used to have one and it served me well for a while. I looked for the same box when it needed to be replaced. I found this. It is the same thing at first glance. It didn't take long for me to realize that the manufacturer cut corners to save money. The pieces broke off. This is not a good thing. Another reviewer said "a toy". A low quality toy. They should stress that this should not be used to carry more than 10 pounds.

👤I read the reviews before I bought this. I only needed this for computer parts, wires and screws, so I thought it could handle lightweight stuff. The transparent front makes it easy to find the screws I have. The clear front part comes off and is used as an individual tool box for small parts that can fit in larger or smaller compartments. I love that it has a lot of space. It comes apart into 6 pieces, two trays to hold long items like screwdrivers, two deep buckets to hold various items like cables, and two "toolboxes" with compartments for screws. The reviews here are accurate. The construction is cheap and looks like a toy. The plastic is very thin and cheap. The latches are easy to break. The big yellow clasps will break if the lid slams shut. If you buy this for power tools, they will be too heavy and you will have a bad time. Don't overload it. You can only put screws and wires in it, and probably a hammer and a few lightweight screwdrivers. The hinges are flimsy and will eventually break, so I don't recommend getting this for everyday use. Leave it and put your stuff in it. Be careful with it. It's curtains if it takes a heavy hit. The clear front is hard to find and similar workshop kits cost over $100, so I bought this for its design. It's not a terrible tool, but it's not durable so you're going to have to make your own decisions about what to put in it. If you only put small light-weight things in it and use it for storage and not move it around a lot, you'll be fine. Don't believe the item description that says you can use it for work on the go. You're going to be disappointed if you try to use this for everyday work. It will fall apart in 30 days or less. If you only have to open it occasionally for light items, you will get the best longevity.

👤My wife decided to store her sewing supplies in this container after looking at a variety of containers. If thread and other small things are in one of the many small compartments, the larger sections easily fit material, a glue gun, etc. She can store it and bring it out when she needs it.

👤It is good size to hold things like that. My impact driver, drill, classes, and 2 batteries were in the bottom compartment. The top of the drill is a little smaller. It is a good size for the other house hold tools. Like a hammer, sockets set, hand held screwdriver set and so on. I don't like the fact that the wheels are on the back side. I live in a cramped trailer with 3 kids and I can't get my tool box from point A to point B. The wheels would be on the narrow side. It would go through the walk spaces. The bottom does not have a top lid. The top toll box has a lid. When I pack my top part through the house, what is in the bottom is not exposed. The lid pops off when it is opened, there is no way to stop it. It has to be close to an object to lean the lid against. bad design.

👤The mixer is fast and powerful, but it could be more powerful if it had good beaters. This happened to me 3 times. The spoke of the beater was separated from the shaft. I have had 32 days, so it was not eligible for return. I called Black and Decker and they said they had a new set of beaters for me. If I had the chance, I would not buy this product again. A terrible way to ruin a mixer. There is an update. I made a cake with one of the beaters bent. I got my money back after I called. Don't buy this model, look for something with thicker beaters.

👤The mixer is garbage. The main unit is fine with me. The child's toy-like 'Beaters' is a problem. I used to shred chicken breasts with a standard beater that had 'grown-up' beaters. Kitchen hack! The chicken was shot through them whole by the wimpy beaters. Clearly due to how flimsy they are. It is complete waste of hard earned money. Don't buy this! Garbage.

I don't use a storage case, so it's not an advantage for me. I wouldn't buy it again because it's a good mixer.

I watched the Utube videos to decide if I should keep the kit or not, since they didn't deliver it on time. Twice. They said it would arrive on a certain day and then be pushed back from Friday to Monday, which was past her birthday. The plastic parts of the product are similar to the metal tips of the frosting. You should take a close look at the product before buying it. You should order at least 3 weeks out. A month of safe side. Have experience decorating cakes. You won't know what half the stuff was used. I looked it up on Utube but the videos are usually shot in a hurry and don't show step by step instructions. If you have a lot of time to watch videos and research how to use these instruments, then that's great. If you don't want to take a cake decorating class, you can buy a kit that includes aAILED INSTRUCTION BOOKLET, or order a cake decorating video/booklet to help you.

I am upset that the measuring spoons are in liters and I have to convert them to liters, which is an even number, so I am just going to use the proper measuring spoons, which are liters and inches. The price was wonderful and the kit had so much that was included. The sellers were very efficient in responding to my messages and this is a great starter set.
