Best Baking Tray with Lid

👤The large surface area of the pans made it possible to fit a lot of potatoes at one time. I am having health issues that lead me to look at things I have overlooked. This is a review of the Baking Sheets, not a health seminar, so I will simply say that I am eliminating anything that could be contributing to having heavy metals in my system. I am not saying these baking sheets are the cause of my issues, but I will show you why I will no longer be using them. I use these BS twice a day for about two months. When I washed them prior to using them, I noticed that the soap looked gray, because I washed off some of the aluminum. In a rush to use the BS, I noticed some sort of metallic debris on the paper towel, after wiping off excess water with a paper towel. This has been happening after each wash. I was able to fit so much on the tray that I overlooked it. I discovered recently that my body is showing signs of too much heavy metals and I am taking actions to limit them. It took about 3 paper towels to clean up the mess. I've been cooking with these BS since April of this year. I've thrown them away.

👤I ordered Nordicware pans and USA pans at the same time, and used them both for the first time, so there's no difference in age. I baked gingerbread cookies, which were cracked on the Nordicwear pans, and needed a spatula to remove them, but the USA Pan cookies came off without a spatula needed. I can't speak to the wear of either or anything other than these cookies, so take this review as you will.

👤You can roast vegetables under a broiler or at 450 degree F, and cooked-on oil doesn't affect the pan's stickiness. This is all aluminum with steel around the edges so it doesn't warp. The pan is very heavy. My mom gave me an aluminum sheet pan when I moved out on my own. I have been abusing this thing for a decade. My mom had it before me. I have a small family of my own and my husband likes roasted veggies, but I like to make my own food at night. I'm looking for a sturdy one to go with my old beat up one. They would twist or warp over 400 degrees. It didn't seem like the price made a difference. I had cheap and expensive ones. At 400, they went funny. I assumed all pans did that, but I found this one. Actually, two. I now have three pans. I use the old one and the new one for veggies, and the third for baking cookies, so it will stay cleaner and stick free. The metal is really smooth and these are not sticky. These are a good choice if you're afraid of chemicals in your food. To make it easier to remove food from the pan, use a fat.

👤I wanted to put pies in the pans. We decided to sell pies to people at my work because my girlfriend is a chef. When I took the last order, we had almost 40 pies to make. My girlfriend makes pies that are not $5 special. The standard disposable pie dishes are not deep enough to hold each pie. These worked out perfectly. We made the pies smaller to fit, but we didn't have to scale back. These were great for Lemon meringue ice cream pie, French silk pie, pumpkin chaffant, and Dutch apple crumb pie. They held up well, and we made a small amount of money, and the price point allowed us to stretch our money a little better. It was a great experience and I'm glad we found these and will be using them in the future.

👤These took a long time to arrive. I received them. They stuck a large name sticker on the bottom of the pan. I am not sure if I will be able to return them because they are stuck on stickers.

👤These are sufficient when a crust is used. I had to hold the edges of the pans while pressing to make sure the pans wouldn't bend. The pans and refrigerated crusts were sturdy once we were in them. I like the covers. That's an issue with pies. You have to use plastic wrap or aluminum foil if you don't have a covered pie plate. The pans and lids will be useful for more than just pies. I will buy more when I need it. Two thumbs up from me.

👤These are a great deal for disposable pans. I bought these to make holiday pies for my friends and family. The only thing I can say is that it's not a pie pan because the sides don't have a slant to them as typical pies have, it's more of a cake style pan. I have made a lot of holiday pies and they came out great.

👤I needed two raised things for the project. I was hoping to find a hinged covering on a base, but no such thing as that size is available. When I stumbled across your item, I was able to use 2 of your pie-tin covers for the project, which I've been too busy to work on at the moment. There is a Wow! The price for 50 pie tins with covers is amazing. I had to use a tin with cover to take bagels to a friend in the hospital. They were heated in the microwave and then put in a tin and cover. He had to stop and pick up his mail. The bagels were kept warm by the tin. I bought them for my project. I wouldn't have had a way to keep the bagels warm. A cook is in our complex. She will get the remaining tins and covers. She'll use them well. The man is named Terrell.

👤The disposable pans had a lid. I bought these for my bake sale and gifts. I made some pies which turned out great, so no problems withstanding the oven temperature. I could put a label on the pie tops because of the lids. The lightweight foil design arrived in tact and held its shape when adding ingredients for baking, because the order arrived quickly and well packaged. They keep their structure well even though they are lightweight. Good purchase.

👤I bought 2 copies of the product on the kickstarter. It was a big mistake. This product is terrible. They had their own cooking temp and time recommendations. The set on use warped badly enough to spill everything, make my kitchen stink, and the smoke detector went off. The second set made the food taste bad and caused spills. Hundreds of other people are reporting the same smoke, odors, and food on their KS comment page. One poster said their dividers caught fire and ruined their oven. The product is not made with food grade silicone. The company refuses to acknowledge the problem if it's not bad enough, so they don't give explanations, replacements, or refunds. I don't know what to do because they ignore any negative comments on KS, so I am posting here. If you buy this, you won't get your money back.

👤I liked the idea of baking multiple items at once. It works well for that. The dividers have a thick bottom. What does that mean? You put it on a baking sheet that gets hot, and the divider works against you for everything you use an oven for. Don't expect anything to get fried in these things. They don't. Nothing gets roasted at the bottom of your dish. It comes out warm, but not hot, and the bottom is wet. I might use them to re-warm some things, but overall I'm pretty disappointed.

👤It saves me a lot of money and I like it. It is strong enough to stand on its own, even as a dish. It did not pass the pinching test, but I love the size and versatile nature of it, I can make all kinds of combinations. It is not easy to clean and if you use too much detergent it will absorb it and make you smell and taste it in your food.

The pan is sturdy and well made, but not true to size. Amazon bought a product that wasn't up to usual high standards.

I used it for corn bread and needed a pan of this size. Both items were baked to order. I had been using a Pyrex baker for some frittatas, and while it did a good job overall, this pan gave a superior result. I prepared the pan with a light greasing to help with easy release, and both the frittata and corn released very easily. I would definitely recommend it.

This pan is completely different. It's made of quality materials, is easy to wash, and is great for storing leftovers. The raised lid allows you to store taller foods. Several people had commented on the reviews that the pans are hard to open. I thought the same thing. I'm glad I didn't return them. I've been opening them wrong for a while. I feel dumb. If you look at the sides of the pan, you'll see four small cracks. I've been trying to open the pan with these four notch and it was frustrating at times. I came here to write a review because other people are doing the same thing. The way to open these pans is to use a long notch between the two smaller ones. There are two long marks on each side of the pan. It's true! It was easy! There are no problems opening the pans now. I bought two of these pans and love them now that I know how to open them. I hope that this review helps you.

👤I love it! I made a cake for my daughter's birthday instead of buying one and needed a great baking pan with a lid. The pan was non-stick. I didn't have to use anything extra for the first time. The cake came out of the pan with ease. The pan was easy to clean. I used a sponge and dish soap after I ran it under hot water. If I can find them, I want more in different sizes and shapes. The lid was hard to get off and a lot of other people said it was complicated. No, it's not at all. I don't know what they were doing, but the cake is protected, soft and moist for days, and is easy to take off, even though I don't know what they were doing. Do one side at a time.

👤I use this pan for a lot of baking. It is everything that was claimed and described. You can tell it is a winner when you unpack it. The weight and workmanship are excellent. I don't put my bakeware in the dishwasher, but I do hand wash it. This is a non-stick surface. I don't use heavy metal utensils because of the non-stick finish. I only use a standard inner knife for cutting and slicing food in this pan, anything requiring a sharp edge knife is removed from the pan. The line of Circulon bakeware is true to its claim. Thank you. No rust, stick, warp, or hassle.

👤If I was the seller, I would include a photo with the measurements where you have all the other photos. The total length, including handles, was not mentioned in the sellers info. It won't fit in my oven. The dimensions are shown in a photo. You can see from your feedback that the dimensions are confusing. I like the quality of it. I will keep it for use in an oven. I'm not happy!

👤I love this pan. It is large enough to bake what I bought it for. I have one complaint and it has no handles. Silicone oven mats or pads are needed when pulling it out of the oven. The first time we baked with it, my husband almost dropped the pan. The pan was very slick because of this. We had a Silicone oven to use, and nothing was dropped. This pan is pretty to look at.

👤I threw out all the Cookie sheets I owned. They nest together and take less space to store and clean up. They bake and brown items evenly. I couldn't be happier with a purchase after weeks of daily use.

👤They are a very pretty black finish, but it's difficult to clean as water gets trapped and they leak a rust color the first few times. If you don't empty all the water after cleaning, you'll have it all over your kitchen and self.

👤When I washed the pan, the sink was full of a rusty color. I didn't think anything of it was cooked on it. A month later. The pans are rusted and the black is starting to chip away at them. I've never had a pan do this before.

👤They say they're dishwasher safe. They're not. If you're not careful, they're not even safe to wash. They have small holes in the folds at the edges that let water in. When you pick them up, you'll see lots of water and rust-water everywhere. We're talking after the first wash, not after months of use. Excellent in theory, terrible execution, and terrible quality.

👤I used this to put a tray under my coffee pot because it matches my countertop. It works well for that. I thought I would use the larger pans to hold smaller items in the oven. I always cook salmon at a temperature of 425 F when I put a pound of salmon on the smallest pan. The pan was warped. It's not as strong as the sheet pans that I usually use.

👤Good quality pans. I haven't baked anything on them yet but I was disappointed in the design and how much water is held when they are washed. I left them to drain overnight and when I picked them up the water was rusty. Lesson learned. Next time, I will put it in a warm oven.

Do not use the dishwasher to wash these pans. You used to be able to, but dishwasher detergents have changed. The pan will look discolored. I ruined three of them because I didn't know the new formula would do this.

👤This cover is very good. Quality is good. There needs to be a tighter seal on the cover where the pan is. The pan lid is not locked and it is not secure over the pan. The lid will come off easily if it is bumped. It is better than anything I have been able to find. If fit was tighter, it would get five stars.

I decided to buy a half sheet which fills up the real estate of the oven, instead of using two smaller trays. I baked bagels after receiving it and they came out great. The tray is sturdy and professional. I love it! An upgrade. When I need to let the dough proof a little more, the cover is very useful. Put them on the tray and cover it up. No need to use a towel. It's so convenient. Will buy again. It's a good thing.

👤I read about the fantastic cover of Cook's Illustrated Magazine and it was great. I don't need to buy new pans because it snaps onto my other good quality half sheet baking pans. There is a big bonus. The Nordic Ware half sheet pan arrived with the cover. Who knew? I didn't see that in the sales description. Thanks, Nordic Ware.

👤I ordered these to go with my beloved Lincoln Service heavy-duty half-sheet pans. I'm always asked to bring baked goods or roasted vegetables to holiday gatherings, parties and so on. You can't cover a half sheet with plastic wrap, it won't stay put, and foil works but is overkill. The snap-on lids are easy to clean and leave a sturdy little margin above the pan so nothing in it gets rearranged. They make it possible to stack my pans without breaking them. I get more storage space in the car. They're sealed so the contents stay fresh. I wish I knew these existed a long time ago. This Thanksgiving will be a lot easier.

👤We run a home business that bakes a lot of things. We bought 2 more after using one of the sheet pans. We will never use any other sheet pans again because we now have three of them. Why? There are benefits to no ratings. We were suspicious of the coating used to make bakeware. It's listed as nontoxic, but who knows if those claims are true when the coating starts to come off. You don't have to worry about that with these pans. The pans have never warped or made that "BUNG!" The sound is the same regardless of the temperature in the oven. Being made of aluminum, it will never rust. No iron is present in aluminum. It is a little more expensive than the Chinese-made ones, but come on people, we need to support our own country. These have always washed up easily. I have not had a problem with sticking.

👤This is to be used in my new air fryer oven. It is large enough to do multiple items. I spray the tray with oil to prevent it from sticking and line the pan with foil to make it easier to clean. The clean-up was easy.

👤I like this so much that I may get a third. Large, very sturdy. The pan is covered with a wire grid that is non-stick. I use it to make jerky, to cook bacon, to roast veggies, and so on. The first unit's wire grid was sturdy enough, but the second unit's grid is a bit thicker. It could be that it was a different supplier. These are very well designed. They can't be beat for the money. When you're done cooking, put some dish soap in the pan, fill it with water, and let it soak for a few minutes. Don't soak the grid for hours, it's not good for its non-stick finish. Then rinse the pan and both sides of the grid with a soft brush and put it away.

👤This pan is great for cooking bacon. Our bacon is cooked in the oven and it comes out nice and crisp. I used a cooling rack for the bacon to keep it from melting in the oven, but sometimes I spilled grease in the oven because the cookie sheet wasn't deep enough. The pan is deep enough to capture grease and the coating on the rack makes it easy to clean than a cooling rack. After disposing of grease, the aluminum pan cleans easily. I use the pan for other things as well. It is the perfect size for holding two dozen sandwiches.

👤I washed it by hand after cooking because the dishwasher will make it look bad. I've never had a better loaf of bread. The fat and drippings on the pan keep your food greasy. It was perfect. 400 for 30 minutes.

I use it for baking chicken wings instead of frying them because it's great for making bacon in the oven. I lined the pan with aluminum foil and sprayed the rack with an oil spray to make it easy to clean. This is worth it. I'm glad I bought it.

If you have time and gumption to wash this pan consistently, you can buy it. I washed this once in the dishwasher and it turned a brand new pan into something that looked aged 40 years. I'd steer clear due to their flimsiness.

👤Great for serving people. The cakes were cooked nicely and released from the pans. I would still cook and flour the pans. I was concerned after reading other reviews that the lids were easy to get on. Don't try to snap them down by pressing on the end of the lid. They will pop right in to place if you press on the top outer edge of the raised part.

👤I bought two sets of pans. The coating on the first set began to peel after a few uses. I bought a second set of pans to try again. I use these pans for everything and have owned them for about two years. I've baked cakes, made casseroles, and made apple crisp and other desserts. I use these pans almost every week. They're a perfect size for both my regular oven and my Breville toaster oven, they're easy to clean, and they make storing food in the fridge and taking to potlucks very convenient. These pans are very fragile and they scratch easily. I never use anything other than non-metal utensils, yet they still get scratches and the non-stick coating on all of my pans has peeled off. I wash my pans by hand and take good care of them. I hate the idea that the materials may be in my food so I've decided that it's time to replace the pans. It is a warning that the pans are not good.

👤I wanted to seal the pans so I didn't have to worry about putting on the lids. When cutting cakes, bars, and other items, use plastic items very gently. The pan is easy to scratch.

👤These cake pans with plastic snap on lids are no exception. I made a pineapple casserole to go with the ham for a family gathering and it just slid out. It was cleaned up quickly. I don't know how these pants would fare in a dishwasher but they are my new favorite addition to my kitchen cook- & bake- ware, so I hand wash all of my pots and pans and baking Pans.

👤The purchase would have been a good deal, except that I gave them away. I bought them for my counter oven. Had those been the outside measurement, the 13 x 9 size would have worked. They wouldn't fit inside my small oven because it wasn't the outside measurement. Live and learn.

👤It's easy to clean, and it's the perfect size. The first thing I baked in it was a casserole. The lid doesn't snap on and stay secure like tupperware, my only issue. It's a good cover for fridge storage, but if you try to lift it without securing it, it will come off. I had to put a rubberband on it to feel safe. It's a great pan.
