Best Baking Tray with Rack Full Size

👤I'm not the cook. I know how to use hardware and tools. My girls told me they didn't have good quality baking equipment so I got this cooling rack. I bought this rack based on positive comments about it from a friend. This thing can be used to beat a man to death. It's heavy, solidly built, won't bend or deform from abnormal use, and does it's job with attitude and an over engineered style. I bought one because I didn't know what I was doing. I'm buying three more because you have to have four. I don't mind. It made my girls happy and satisfied my manly definition of a solid tool. I did well.

👤I ordered this cooling rack because it was easy to clean and it was made of STAINLESS STEEL. The supporting framework is made of steel. The wire mesh on top is not real steel. It's hard to wash because of the rough coating on the wire mesh. I used the rack today and it works well, the baked goods seem to get stuck to the wire mesh.

👤It seems like a sturdy rack. It is warped in the center. I put a bottle of soap on the rack. Imagine my shock when the bottle fell onto the floor. It is the strangest thing I have ever seen. It took me a while to understand the problem. The center of the rack is higher than the edges. It is almost like it has been warped. A metal rack warped? Is it possible that Amazon shipping caused this? The rack was thrown in the Amazon box so who really knows, but there are no obvious signs of damage. It doesn't seem like a shipping problem. Storage problem? Maybe. I am leery now. I am not worried that a heavy cast iron skillet will fall off, but what if the dish soap was a bowl of soup? It might be light enough to be a problem. I only bought one rack as a trial. I am unlikely to buy more of these so my research is incomplete. It's the same thing. The owner of the Ultra Cuisine brand sent me a nice note apologizing for the problem along with a replacement rack. Thank you much! The replacement rack is very nice. I would buy another one like this. Rosemary took the time to make this right and my review was bumped to four stars. Excellent customer service is still a thing.

👤We've tried a lot of different racks in the past, even after seeing reviews that suggested they might not be good for baking, only cooling. I was very happy to find this one that can do both. It was suggested by a youtuber that focuses on Sous Vide. He uses it to hold vacuum sealed bags with food in the water bath. This has held up well under water and has been used for baking. This rack is for the price. When you bake something on it, spray some cooking spray on it and it will clean up.

👤The 18/0 isferritic, not the more typical 18/10. The big stamp on the bottom seems to have not made it to any of the product pictures. I don't know about the rack. It's not the same alloy, but it could be a different grade. This is a heavy article of cookware.

I gave it a try after reading the awesome reviews. I'm very happy! It's much thicker than I expected, which was something I was worried about. A clean up is a good thing. It's seriously. The cooling rack addition allowed us to make bacon that was the best I have ever eaten. Yes, seriously. The pan went straight from sitting on a cold island counter to a 400 degree oven and that was a mistake. The times that I set my pan on the stove as it preheats the popping is never an issue. Would highly recommend this pan.

👤The pan has a rack. It could be used for cooling cookies or baking bacon in the oven. I put them in the dishwasher and they come out clean. I only had them for a month but I am very happy with them. I can see that the quality is pretty good. I'm trying to convert most of my baking and cooking stuff to non stick because of Teflon. I am.

👤Sometimes you think you are the cause of the problem when you write poor reviews. I have had this for a long time and it warps whenever I use it. Anything on it pops off when it warps. I have tried to put in the oven while preheating. I tried heating up in the oven, but when it pops to take out, I have to wait and re- install the oven. Sorry for the poor review but the truth is the truth for me.

👤I love this pan. I brought it to cook chicken. I use it to make bacon. I don't think I'll be cooking bacon anymore. It's very easy to clean. Kitchen appliances are like toys for kids. I love it.

👤This pan shines like an old car bumper. Its steel is 18/0. The pan was well packaged when it arrived. The pan in the oven made a clatter sound when I used it. The pan needs to be cooled down. I will use the pan with caution since I have it.

As soon as it touched the warped oven rack, it was gone. There was no unreasonable thermal shock because the sheet was room temperature. This is not acceptable. I think the other sheets will do the same thing. I'm not happy with my purchase. It seems that Amazon reviews are more about initial impressions than anything else.

👤This cooking sheet is very nice. I like being able to bake a whole salmon filet without having to cut it. I like being able to cook 2 full racks of spare ribs. I like that it fits in my oven and has enough room left for heat to circulate. I enjoy being able to cook. There is a lot of cookies in one go. I don't have to clean it as often because I bought a silicone baking mat. It's easier to clean this if I keep them lightly oiled. The first time I used it, I baked it at 400F because it was warpy.

👤I love my Nordic ware big baking sheet. I have a standard oven and it gives me about 2 inches of air flow on every side when it is centered on my rack. I washed it by hand, dried it, and applied a thin coat of oil to the bottom, using a lint free cloth. I put the pan in the oven and heated it for 30 minutes before turning it off. I had a seasoned sheet pan about 2 hours later. I used it to roast veggies and they didn't stick, and the pan wiped clean. I added a couple coats of oil and it is doing well. Do not put this pan in the dishwasher for the love of all things baked. If oil cooks on, it's ok. Don't scrub it off. The pan is very nice. I plan to keep this pan in my kitchen for a long time.

👤I found a quality sheet that fills my entire oven and is big enough for an entire package of bacon. Every time I buy the corresponding, I get perfectly cooked bacon. Clean-up is easy if you add a little foil. It costs a little more to get a quality cookware that doesn't warp or bend. I think it's worth it.

👤I was tired of the sheet pans flexing in the oven. I finally bought a Nordic Ware sheet pan. It is sturdy, shiny and so far, has not warped in the oven. It doesn't have a non-stick surface so you'll want to grease the pan or use parchment paper when you use it. It's easier to clean up that way. If you use a Brillo, steel wool or SOS pad, you will get scratches on the surface and won't have a perfect surface for a long time. This pan is a good one to recommend. It is important that this one is the right size for you.

👤I bought these baking sheets for a different reason. I am always looking for new ideas for my craft, and I am an avid crafter. The sheets are the perfect weight. I am able to cut them with a regular pair of scissors and then use my die cut machine to make an Embossment plate. I made a card out of them and colored them with different colors. I will definitely buy these again, but I don't think there will be a smell of baking in my kitchen.

I have cooked roasted potatoes, veggies, chicken, and you don't have to turn it with a spatula, just give it a shake halfway through. I don't like to touch it and food gets blackened all the way around. It looks brand new to me, I have used it about 30 times. It's very easy to clean. I don't put in DW because it's easy to clean up. A great buy, and do not need an air fryer oven now.

👤Garbage. I never trust Amazon reviews. There is no way that all of these positive reviews are legit. One of the pans was used for the first time. The only way to clean it was with the scrub side of a sponge, which isn't all that abrasive, but even after soaking this left the entire surface scratched like it was cleaned with a grinding disc. I attached a picture of the results after I tried to remove it. It looks like it has been abused for 30 years. This was after the first use. Not worth the money. They are terrible for cooking and scratch, so maybe they are fine as a serving tray. Look somewhere else.

👤I ordered two sets of sheet pans because I don't want to have aluminum in my food. I used to use the cushion air ones for my cookie sheets. I wanted to bake cookie faster and ordered two sets of these. I could put two of these sheets in the oven, and then work on preparing two more sheets to put in when the first set finished baking. I decided to order the Silicone Non Stick Baking Mat, 16” X 12” Orange Red, along with two sets of the same item, after reading all the reviews. Minimum washing was required for these sheet pans. The sheet pans and mats work well together. My cookies were great. When these pans are put in a hot oven, they will make a popping sound and turn up on one side, but this is not a deal breaker. When they get used to the temp in the oven, they begin to fall down. I just ordered another set of the sheet pans and mats to use on items like vegetable and meat that need to be roasted in a pan with sides that are short so that your meat can roast correctly, because I am so happy with the duo of the sheet pans and mats. I am sure that at some point, these types of food will cause the mat to become wet and reach the sheet pan. I will clean them as best as I can, and I am sure that the sheets that I keep for these types of food will not be discolored. The two new sheet pans will only be used for certain applications. I have good quality cookware and a well stocked kitchen, so I am very picky about what I use. The pans are great. Hope this helps someone make a decision.

👤We are trying to reduce our exposure to non-stick coating and aluminum by replacing old cookware. I knew I wanted 18/0 steel, but it's not beatable for the price. I was very happy with my purchase after using them for several weeks. They are easy to clean. I don't have to worry about how to wash them or what utensils I use. They will be sparkling clean again if they are put in the dishwasher. I have had experience with the pans warping, but this isn't a deal breaker for me. The trade off is the ease of using them and the relative safety of the steel.

👤I rarely use paechment, and I love to bake. It's not necessary, ha!) I don't like the emblem on the high end pans. I always have one cookie that gets stuck and the pand gets dirty. Not a problem with these! All the way across. They're light and easy to lift out of the oven with one hand. They clean very well. If you're buying for someone who has high end items on their registry, you'll want to pass. These are fantastic for practical use. I'm very happy with these pans.

👤The Nordic cover fits perfectly, the edge is in width for me. I purchased the Nordic Ware Natural aluminum commercial baker's half sheet for $10.48 but when it increased to $16.73, I decided to get the Tiger Chef half size 18 x 13 inch aluminum sheet pan for about the same price. The Nordics are within 5% of the tigers. The Nordic is about 10% heavier than the Tiger. The Nordic I received was not as shiny as the picture showed. The Nordic fits my wall oven better than the Tiger. Silpat sheets fit nicely in the pans. Both are heavy sheet pans. The Nordic was shipped in a box that was large enough for the pan. The Tiger was slightly damaged when it was shipped, but not enough to return. My recommendation would be to use the Nordic, which is slightly heavier and less likely to be damaged in shipping. You can upgrade to 5 stars. There is a The Nordic pan cover does not fit any of my Nordic Half-Sheet pans, but it fits the Tiger Chef perfectly. Be not afraid. Today's shipment was in an oversized box that started out 9” high but was smashed down to 6” at the corners, sides bulging out, and was torn with most of the packaging tape loose or gone. There was a small piece of packing material in the box. The pan was in good condition. It took 8 days in transit, but it was worth it. If you need a cover that fits, order a Tiger Pan.

👤The item I received looks like a great product, and the description on the item matches the description on Amazon, however, the photo shows a sheet pan with a rim all the way around, and what was sent was a sheet with a rim only on each end. I can't bake anything like meat or vegetables on it because liquid will run off the sides and onto the burner. I think they'll be good for cookies or french fries, but I need a medical sheet.

👤I have mixed opinions about this set. The one in my black and deck oven was replaced. I love the roasting rack. The dishwasher is Sturdy, cleans up nicely, and it has to be prewashed. The baking sheet is hard to clean, soaking and scrubbing. It's not dishwasher safe. It would be nice to have a pan that you don't need to use.

👤I used it for the first time. I fried chicken in the oven. I like how big it is. I was able to make them all at once. I don't like the cleaning part of it even though I grease the grate first. I used the pads and the scrubber got caught in the grate and it was difficult to get them out. They should be cleaned with the plastic type scrubbers.

👤This is to be used in my new air fryer oven. It is large enough to do multiple items. I spray the tray with oil to prevent it from sticking and line the pan with foil to make it easier to clean. The clean-up was easy.

👤I like this so much that I may get a third. Large, very sturdy. The pan is covered with a wire grid that is non-stick. I use it to make jerky, to cook bacon, to roast veggies, and so on. The first unit's wire grid was sturdy enough, but the second unit's grid is a bit thicker. It could be that it was a different supplier. These are very well designed. They can't be beat for the money. When you're done cooking, put some dish soap in the pan, fill it with water, and let it soak for a few minutes. Don't soak the grid for hours, it's not good for its non-stick finish. Then rinse the pan and both sides of the grid with a soft brush and put it away.

👤This pan is great for cooking bacon. Our bacon is cooked in the oven and it comes out nice and crisp. I used a cooling rack for the bacon to keep it from melting in the oven, but sometimes I spilled grease in the oven because the cookie sheet wasn't deep enough. The pan is deep enough to capture grease and the coating on the rack makes it easy to clean than a cooling rack. After disposing of grease, the aluminum pan cleans easily. I use the pan for other things as well. It is the perfect size for holding two dozen sandwiches.

👤I washed it by hand after cooking because the dishwasher will make it look bad. I've never had a better loaf of bread. The fat and drippings on the pan keep your food greasy. It was perfect. 400 for 30 minutes.

👤I have been looking for a pan like this for a long time and they were outrageously expensive. I use it for baking chicken wings instead of frying them because it's great for making bacon in the oven. I lined the pan with aluminum foil and sprayed the rack with an oil spray to make it easy to clean. This is worth it. I'm glad I bought it.

👤These pans are terrible. I have other brands of pans that aren't the same as the ones that are supposed to be put in the dishwasher, and they hold up well despite the fact. If you have time and gumption to wash this pan consistently, you can buy it. I washed this once in the dishwasher and it turned a brand new pan into something that looked aged 40 years. I'd steer clear due to their flimsiness.

👤I want to let you know how much I like the S/S tray and rack set I bought for my air fryer oven. It was difficult to figure out if any of your tray and rack sets would fit in my oven because of the way you listed the dimensions. It took me a while to figure out that you were measuring them by the inside dimensions. I ordered some that I thought would fit, the size was 12.5" x 10" x 1", after I figured that out. The quality is great. I have an air fryer oven with Rapidcrisp that I can use if someone needs trays. Thanks for the great product and service. Rudy.

👤It looks nice. The rack is a great idea. I have used it for both baking and under the broiler, and the tray warps when heated. I would prefer it to stay flat while baking and broiling. The rolled edge would have given better stability. It was a disappointment. Customer Service contacted me after seeing the review and gave me a full refund without the hassle of returning the tray. They get an A+ for that, but I can't recommend the tray.

👤I ordered two sheet pans and both have some scratches on the inside sides of the tray. Even though the items were wrapped in plastic, I think the wire rack cut through the plastic made the marks. I don't think they should be packed together. I am not happy that both pans have scratches. One pan has three and the other has two. The wire rack is not as good as the pan. I hope it doesn't rust. The wire rack has sharp edges. I believe this is the cause of the scratches to the inside sheet pan edge during shipping because they ship the wire rack within the sheet pan. The plastic bag doesn't seem to offer protection from the scratches. Very unfortunate. Someone from TeamFar could comment on this issue.

👤The baking pan and cooling rack are nice. The STAINLESS seems to be good quality. I was almost afraid of what I read about inferior steel grades. I don't remember, but it seems to be a great grade for its purpose, even if it doesn't have a nickel in it. I don't have to worry about the chemicals that might have been in my food or the air from the non-stick baking pans I used because I now have a brand of pans that are more resistant to cracking. These don't seem to have a tendency to turn dark with stains that won't come off like the others. I am very pleased with my purchase and I think this is worth paying a little bit more for.

👤This was bought to replace the pan that was included with the Breville oven. It was difficult to find a pan that was the right size for our purpose. We use the oven a lot, and this pan means no more lining with aluminum foil. The wire grate I use to keep food from sticking to the bottom promotes browning on both sides. I love it more when I use it.
