Best Baking Utensil Set Yellow

👤These are cheap. I was not expecting the best quality for the price. I was not expecting the cheapest quality. The spatulas are easy to bend, the ice cream scoop is easy to bend, the spoons and turners look great, but feel like cheaply made plastic items. The pie cutter is the best utensil. It is well made and feels solid. This set seems to be a hit or miss. This would be a great starter set if you are just looking for the essentials and don't mind repurchasing the individual items as they break.

The tongs would probably melt if they were used to get wings out of the deep fryer. They sound like they would break easily. If nothing else, please buy this for the spoontula.

These are the perfect size and seem to work well on gas cook tops. They seem to clean easily and seem to be non stick. They are not unuseable because they are shorter than typical utensils. They are some of the best I've used because of the colors, non stick, and easy to clean. I won't use them, but I think they will hold up for a few times a month. I would recommend them to others.

The clicking noise when you open and close them is indicative of a poorly fit spring which will jump out very soon. The spatulas are the same size and the handle length is different. The handle size is what other brands provide. This makes it easier to use precision. This set has no value, convenience or precision. The tongs are useless because they don't close strong enough to hold something on the pan.

👤The tip and handle parts hold up to a lot of temperature. The spoke is supposed to keep everything together and bring the rating of the set of tongs down to mediocre. They didn't bother to use a proper fastening at one end to hold everything together, probably some heated stamp to squeeze some material out to overlap to keep the spoke from falling out. The spokes fell out of all the tongs eventually, first one within one year and last one recently, but I kept things in place by squeezing the flimsy end of the spoke shut using aPhillips driver. I couldn't put the tongs back together after one of the spokes fell out. It's a shame; if they didn't cheap out on the spoke they would have been nice tongs.

👤Three years ago, we ordered this set and the first one died. The second died after two years, and we just threw the third away. Some of the one star reviews mentioned that the rivet pop loose was their problem. The teeth on the grabby end didn't line up perfectly, it's comical to pick an item up. They were easy to clean, and held up to heat very well. We might have gotten our money out of them. We'll pick a different brand and see how it goes.

Silicone has a rubbery texture that is helpful for grabbing food of all kinds, it's heat resistant, and it's less toxic than plastic, so I really like it. The smallest one in this set is too small to cook with, so it's not ideal. It might be okay to serve salad. I would be happy paying this price for the two larger ones. If you look at it that way, you're buying two regular sized cooking tongs and then getting one tiny one for salads, etc. thrown in for free, then it's still a good deal.

I share this review to help others. I use a spatula set from Wilton to mix delicate batter such as pancakes and muffins. This set is not for delicate things. Maybe I am just aclutz. The set is very hardy. Each is heavy because of the metal core. The spatula is extended into it, so don't expect it to bend to the curve of your bowls to remove the last bits of batter. I cannot use this set for the tasks I bought it for. The pancake batter had bubbles in it. I switched to a different tool because I was so flustered trying to use it to apply frosting. I can't delicately move it in small motions because it's heavy. I don't get feedback from more flexible spatulas because I don't know when I am pushing too hard or when the frosting is too thick. The blue set was purchased by me. It is not quite navy in color. It is not for delicate baking, my mistake for not catching that, but may be better for sauces and soups and stovetop cooking. I will try that next.

The seals were so tight that I couldn't shake the water out, so you have to hope it dries out before it becomes a problem. There are four The utensils had black silicone on them. They went from black to navy blue. I had to wipe the cloth down to get them back to black. This doesn't affect their function, but it does bring into question the quality and added work with cleaning. The quality of this set is better than dollar store, but reminds me of what you would find at Walmart or Ikea. The quality of places like Bed Bath and Beyond is nowhere near as good. They fare better when hand washed. It is a good price for everything, but some items are not as good as others. If you want to get quality, look elsewhere. Maybe you should give this a try.

If you research online, you will find that the seller will not be trying to pull one over and make a quick buck on someone who doesn't pay attention to the product details on the box. I returned the set because I liked the one I found and I'm very happy with it. Extra plastic stuff that you don't need or want is not very expensive. I hope this helps someone understand what I did.

The flaw is slightly funny but annoying since I have minor OCD. There is a label on the container. The bottom has a plastic cap. The cap was installed upside down. The container needs to be placed upside down. It's not a big deal. The name brand is upside down. The label is in the back if I try to rotate it. There is something. It's just slightly annoying. I could switch it. It's not worth the time or effort to fix. It was bought off Amazon. I don't cook a lot. I'm happy with it.
