Best Baking Ware Set

👤Some of the pans I use for baking are metal and need to be replaced. I wanted to know how well they would stand up against the metals ones. They do well and can see where they will improve over time. The weight of the batter pushed against the sides causes them to be less than nice and straight. The mold formed to the batter, not horrible, but just something that was noticed. They are more flexible than metal, so you will have to plan more for how to use them. If you open the oven with one hand and use the other to put the pie in, there is a good chance that you will dump the pie into the oven. Overall, still very happy with them, but just think through the weight of what you are putting into them with their less ridged structure.

👤I know these are more flexible than others. I wanted to keep the cost down by replacing my baking pans with Silicone. I stopped baking because I was tired of the heavy weight. They take up a lot of space in my cupboards and I have to clean them up. I don't like the way metal pans cook. I use a metal sheet pan to support Silicone. I am glad I tried Silicone bakeware. I am very pleased with this set. I have a variety of bakeware, for a nice price, and I have a renewed interest in baking.

👤I ordered these because I was still afraid of the oven. I am now a believer. I found the pieces a little flimsy so using a baking/cookie under the dish is advised. I had trouble getting the cake out of the pan because it was still hot, but I think I can get better at it. I bought the cheaper ones because I didn't want to spend a lot of money and be disappointed. I feel confident that I can spend more money to get the ones that look better.

👤05.31.18 I have used all of the molds/liners for several months now and they have worked well. I have used them as stand alone molds and they hold up well, but I do handle them differently since they are soft and flexible. I have made everything I have done well, even if the molds are not greased, they are easy to clean and store well since they can be mangled if needed.

👤I don't know why it took me so long to switch from non-stick metal to silicone. I've made a number of items, such as pumpkin pie bars, brownies, and cookie bars, and have been able to remove the food from the pan and cut it on a cutting board. I don't use a knife with these pans. I think the quiche is my favorite. It came out of the pan. I put it on a plate and served it at the table. I have sprayed a little cooking spray in the pan in each attempt so far to help remove the item from the pan. It was easy to clean up. I only gave these 3 stars because I only had them for a few weeks. Time will tell.

👤I thought it was made in the US. I should have read the fine print on the description because it doesn't mean Americoat was applied in America. It's not a suggestion for baked-on food to wash with hot water, mild soap and gentle sponge. The small print on the package says "not dishwasher safe." "Made from globallysourced commercial grade and heavy gauge aluminized steel" is a small print on the package. The family may reside and do business in the USA, but they get these baking racks from China, because USA Pan is a Bundy family company which has manufactured high quality bakeware and provided jobs in the USA for over 50 years. The baking rack is made in the USA. It's not okay for a baking rack to be sold in the USA as a USA family product. It was very misleading.

👤The product description is misleading. The description should not say that the item is made in the USA if it is made in China. I don't know if it's quality or durability yet. I haven't used it. I think the small grids will be a chore to clean after use. It's not steel, it's aluminum, and it has a grey tint from the beginning. It's better to use aluminum in the oven as it conducts heat more evenly than steel. I'm keeping it because of that. I was disappointed when it arrived, but I think it will serve its purpose.

👤Before buying this product, read the description carefully. The product title is not "stainless steel." Even though USA is included in the product title, it is also not made in USA. It seems like it was misleading. Amazon should not be a "buyer-beware" platform. The dimensions are correct at 16.75 by 11.50 inches, which makes it fit in a half-sheet pan. I can't imagine it holding up to heavy usage. It is a lot lighter than other racks I have purchased.

👤The older sheet pan we bought in 2012 is better than the new one we had to replace. We need to bring manufacturing back to the US. The new generations will not understand that they have never seen the difference. A vintage rack would be a better buy. Just saying!

👤The reason I bought them was because they were made in the USA. They are dishwasher safe. When I saw they were made in China, I was surprised and disappointed. The company name on the package is USAPans, which is a misconception since they aren't made here. Also, accuracy is important. I will keep them since I couldn't find this particular size. If you're looking for cookware that lasts for a few months, the product is for you. Not much for longevity. The coating is coming off and that makes me worry. Has it been off since the beginning? I saved to buy the set and have waited for years to find the best package, I wish it was a better product. It was disappointing.

👤This is my first review of Amazon, and I have been buying there since the beginning. I hope that shows my enthusiasm. I would bake Dutch babies and other earthly delights on traditional bakeware. The more-than- likely annoyance and shame associated with part of my recipe adhering to the pan was one of the self-limiting factors of these endeavors. The dessert is the equivalent of a sore throat. I would need to forget these annoyances before I could bake again. Enter Circulon. I prepared a Dutch baby without the hot step and greasing the pan. I just added the batter and put the pan back in the oven. I was able to remove the treat from the pan after removing the baby from the oven. A crumb was left behind. I can't recommend this enough, if you've ever baked anything and had a problem with the material sticking to the pan, I can't recommend enough. I will probably start to suffer from some sort of disease as a result of baking too much. Please pray for me.

👤I just received this. It's a nice set. I hope they bake well. The pans don't look as big in your hands as they do on the website. They put the cookie sheets in the box. They don't look big. You will need both of them for heavy duty baking needs. There were 2 cake pans. They look like they can hold both items. There was a cooling rack in there. I thought it was bigger. It fit in the pan. The standard American size of the cake pan and bread pan is the smaller square one. The pan was standard. I'm looking forward to trying them out, and it's a nice set. I hope they bake good food. That's the most important thing. I will update this after I use the items. I used the cupcake pan. Everything turned out great. I used cooking spray to make biscuits. They slid out. It was perfect! I baked some cupcakes and spilled some batter on the pan, but it wasn't burned or anything. It was easy to clean up. Everything came clean. Very nice! When I use more items, I'll update this. Highly recommended! I've used a few of the items so far. They're non stick and really nice. It was easy to clean up. I baked on food and it came out perfect. There was no hard scrubbing. It brushed off into the garbage. Highly recommended! There are 6 mini pie pans that are 5 inches in size, and the one cookie pan fits them all. The 10 piece set is better than the 5 piece set. If you don't want to add more stuff, this is more complete. This set didn't have any extra pans that I had. I didn't have to pay more. There is an update on 23 September. I used the cupcake pan again. The square cake pan is my go to pan. I was able to cook some egg rolls on the baking pan after getting 2 large Belgian waffles on it. I did not use spray on the pan. I could have put more egg rolls. I used the cupcake pan to experiment. I wanted to see how good the non stick was. I sprayed the pan with bakers joy to make sure they came out. I did not use cupcake liners this time. I entered the pan with the batter. The cupcakes slid out and the clean up was easy. This set is very good.

👤This product is not covered in ceramic. It is advertised asceramic style, but it is really a Teflon type coating. It is hazardous. Do not use this product if you are looking for safe cookware.

👤Absolutely junk. It was packaged in a new way. The other pans in the set were a combination of rusty, peeling, chipped, scratched, and even dirty, and it appeared that one of the pans was deliberately scratched. They were in bubble wrap bags and in the original box. They looked like old used dishes. It could have been a returned item that wasn't inspected before shipping it back out. Very disappointing. The quality level is not very high even if it did not have all of the damage. Would not recommend it.

👤These are turquoise colors. I had an issue with two of the baking pans being scratched out of the box, but I was able to contact the seller and they sent me a replacement for those two pans. I appreciate their customer service. These pans are easy to clean. I wouldn't recommend washing them in the dishwasher. Only hand wash. Food doesn't get stained or stick to the pans. I would order again.

👤These pans work well. They have a non-stick ceramic coating that makes it easy to slip off food. I tried the other half of the pan without oil or grease. I took my muffins out of the oven and it was the same as before. I think I will have to use oil/grease over time, but I was impressed. I love that the two large pans fit in my oven, but are hard to find because they are large enough to feed a large family. The blue paint on the pans can scratch on the oven rack, so be careful. 👤I used this pan once. I used 3x and had to throw it away. This one is going to the trash as well. I only use a soft wash cloth for my cookware. I ran my finger across it and the top layer was so thin that it was just coming off and the rust was underneath it. I have sets of Walmart and tjmaxx that were a quarter of the price, and I still have them. Is it possible that all the good reviews are from the first time they opened the box? I thought they were nice, until I used them.

👤After the winter storms, a flood destroyed my kitchen. This is the first time I've been able to choose what I wanted instead of getting what I wanted. I fell in love with the pans after I saw them and read some reviews. One of them came with some minor flaws. I washed and dried them and realized the cake pan was smaller than I had been led to believe. They look great, they are non stick, clean and I love them. I will need more pans for the holidays when I get a second set because I love to bake. The pans will lose their beauty after repeated use, that's the only negative thing. They are very slick. They slid across the counter when I placed them there. Be careful.

👤This is a half sheet size, will fit my baking mats, and the non stick finish seems good, although haven't used these yet, so can't comment on sturdiness or durability. They seem to be heavy duty. The box was a ridiculous size for two pans and could fit a TV in it. The finish on one of the pans was removed on all four sides. I will keep them, but I should have mentioned the damage.

👤I love Nordic Ware and these pans together. I have never had cookie sheet pans like this before. Cookies, frozen pizza, and similar items just slide off. You should watch out for that pizza cutter because they scratch easily. You will not regret this purchase.

👤These are very good sheet pans. They don't warp in the oven. I am replacing a set that I have had for many years that have been warped and stained. I like the thickness of these. They don't sound like sheet metal. They are better than my old ones that were warped. I like the darker ceramic coating. It has a non-stick surface. I like that. I like the dark color and use cooking spray on certain items. The spray would stain the pans. They always look new because they wash up. I would use a knife. I don't want to damage the ceramic because it's a coating. They are very small and nest together. The outer rim is shallow enough to bake cookies and deep enough to hold the juices from chicken, but you can use a spatula to lift them off the pan. These are the perfect baking sheets.

It is not necessary for what the product will be used for. My kids and I made Martha White muffins for the first time. You know what I mean, just add milk muffins. They came out well. The roast pan is small and perfect for me since I only cook for myself and not for larger families. The pans are easy to clean after I have used them, and everything I have cooked in them has come out nicely. The dents in the muffin pan and baking sheet didn't affect anything I made with those pans. I am very pleased with this set.

👤Complete set for my limited cooking skills. The kids probably use this set more than I do for baking cookies and pies. This set is very nice looking and not heavy at all. The thicker edges of these do help with handling. The surface is very smooth. There were a couple of small dents on one of the trays but they were probably due to the stacking of the rack on top of the tray. I am just being picky. This set of 8 trays is great for all my baking needs, with different shapes and sizes.

I worry that they will warp since they had dents from shipment. If they do warp, I will report it back. 👤I bought 2 of the half sheets and was happy with them. The coating works well. The non-stick coating is not on the bottom of the sheet, so it only gets damaged there. They are light-weight and cook evenly. These sheets were used to bake my scones. They held their shape and were perfectly brown on the bottom. I decided to buy 2 of the sheets. I had to send them back. Nordic Ware is putting a logo on the baking surface. This is not shown in the picture on Nordic Ware's site. Nordic Ware confirmed to me that they have added a logo. I'm not sure who thought this was a good idea, but it's a deal-breaker for me. I think a smooth baking surface would make it easy to lift things off with a spatula. The logo is large and long. The picture is for everyone to see. Nordic Ware has placed branding above function. The return was great for Amazon.

👤A lot of reviewers are picky. It is a baking sheet. I bought a half sheet. I bought two of them. They're fine! The finish seems to work. It's almost like a paper towel when it comes to clean-up. Some people are asking if these are dishwasher safe. Why would you put it in the dishwasher? Put it away by rinsing it off with hot water. Don't worry about it, use my paper towel method.

Start with two, then get two more, and finally by the smaller size. All the pies come out perfect. You can cook fish, chicken, and roast other meats on the cookie drying rack. I like to line the pan with foil before putting the rack in the sheet. It's a great jelly-roll pan.

👤I have had a non-stick for six months. I don't put food directly on the pan. Even with overnight soaking and a lot of scrubbing, there are stains in the pan that will not come out even if you soak it. I read a review that said this has been happening with a new product. 👤I have a pair of Nordic Ware baking sheets, just like this one, but without the non-stick coating. Sometimes I would like to have a shallow roasting pan with a non-stick coating for chicken thighs. I never put aluminum in the dishwasher so the cleaning has to be done by hand. These are perfect for jobs like that. It's too early to tell how long the coating will last, but the pans have a good weight and the raised rolled edges keep them from warping. They are easy to store because they stack perfectly with the Nordic Ware pans. I think they are an excellent value if the coating holds up.
