👤This rack was purchased in February. You can instantly feel the difference between this one and the other ones. It is much stronger. The company has a lifetime warranty. I had to test that as one of the bars was separated from the rack itself. I got a response from the company after I email them. They offered to send me a new one after reviewing the damage. I really appreciate a company that is willing to stand behind its product.

👤I have finally found a rack that will fit a pan large enough to bake a pound of bacon at once, without the pan getting in the way. The bacon sticks in a few places. The bacon stays its full shape and comes off the rack without sticking. The bacon cooks evenly. The rack is heavy. The easiest way to clean up is in the dishwasher. You need to be creative to fit it. If you clean it in the sink, it is best to have a deep farm sink. Unless you can fit it in your dishwasher, it will be easier to clean it if you soak it in hot soapy water for a few hours. Overall, love it, love it!

👤I had no pans, racks, rolling pins or other needed items when I started baking. I needed to cool two loaves of bread at the same time. If you are looking for a well-constructed, spacious cooling rack, this one will be great. It looks like it will last a long time. I have used it to cool fried foods. If you want to invest in a product that won't rust or corrode, it's a good idea to invest in a product that's made from a material that won't oxidize.

👤This cooling rack is very strong. I don't use it for baking. I use it to pour paint. It allows me to lift and tilt the panel easily. It allows the paint to fall through. I washed it up because it was acrylic paint. The weight is not too heavy. It will allow me to make more art.

👤It fits inside nicely. There were no grease fires or other issues with the oven- fried 50 wings. It was too big to fit in the sink. If you fill your baking pan with soapy water, flip the cooling rack upside down and let it soak in that, it's a pro tip.

Many people said that the steel was not 100%. The Teflon coated rack reviews were worse. I decided to buy this one even though it was 3X the cost of most racks and I am so happy with it. Heavy duty and 100% steel! A quick soak in the same pan and rack cleans itself. I put the scrub in the top rack of my dishwasher and it was clean. Love it! The reason I do batches of cooking is to make it easier to cook and clean.

👤The cloth does not proof well for a proper crust. The picture shows it as it is not. I don't recommend this product. We can't use the cloth for any of them because we bought 14 of them. The banneton is very shallow. We are buying from a different vendor. Huge waste of money for our business. We are very upset.

It was sitting on a shelf in the bag that it arrived in. I think there was some sort of water in the basket from the production process. Guess it's back to the drawing board...

👤The fabric shown in the photo is not the same as the banneton. It comes with a very thin yellow cotton liner, which will not work well on high hydration doughs. It is not marked, it may or may not be cotton.

👤The bowl is not up to par. I was watching tv chefs make sourdough bread and they were using a bowl just like this one, except for one thing, it was a piece of plastic. It is small and feels as if it will crack at any moment, you are supposed to let your bread rise in it so your bread has lines on it, but mine had no. This was a real gyp. It would have taken a lot of time and money to return it.

One of the baskets is noticeably smaller than the other. When I divide my dough, I end up with balls that are not even. If you are more precise, you may run into a problem. * I don't know if either of my liners is linen. One might be, but the other is not. The liners I received were not all that good. Both of them work, but it's of note. One of my liners had foreign material on it when it arrived. The problem was taken care of by a few washes. These work well for a home hobby baker. I use them weekly and they have held up. If I needed to, I would buy them again, but I would look for a better quality.

The boule fell out of the uncovered bowl after I started to flour it heavily. The brush included here is very useful for lightly brushing away excess flour from the boule before baking, without ruining the hours and hours of bread structure development. The bread vent requires bakers to place the blade at an angle, so therazorblade holder did not work for me. The action is hard because of the handled lame and blade.

The shipping cost and packaging was a waste because the item was so small. This is the cheapest option you can find. If you want a food safe option, you should spend more money on quality.

I know it wasn't made in the USA, but the one fromBB&B was. The one I found was made in the USA and cost almost 35 dollars. All this will be finished last me. I like to make pies and apple turnover, but I am not a pastry chef. I don't think it would wear out if I used it daily. I will update this review if it ever gives me issues.

👤It is considerably smaller than the one I have had for the past 45 years. The grip is not as wide as my hand. When I blend, my hand sinks into the dough because the blades are shorter. You should compare the models before ordering.

👤The padded handle on the blender is appreciated by my old hands. When I bake several batches of dog treats and blend peanut butter into them, my hands start to ache because the handle is metal. This solved the problem. It works well.

It's not heavy and cleans up easily in the dishwasher.

👤I've wanted to do sourdough for a long time. I put it off a few times because my mother had failed at it and I witnessed it. I decided it was the perfect time to not buy bread because of the plague. For a baker to try Sourdough Bread for the first time? This is perfect! I was a little worried about the size of the baskets when I first saw them, but they're perfect for making loaves that most sourdough recipes call for. The two Bannetons looked nice and the dough was easy to make with no need to clean or worry about the rings on them. The two banneton covers came with me, but I haven't used them yet because the bannetons themselves work just fine. I haven't been abusing the Bannetons, but they seem durable. I use a plastic scraper to get the dough out of the bowl and onto the counter to start kneading, and the metal scraper is the perfect strength to use on the counter. The plastic scraper is for getting the banneton out, but I haven't needed to use it for that at all. So far, the lame has worked well. I've played with the blade, but I haven't had to change it yet. The leather cover is nice, and it looks easy to replace. The curved blade is odd to cut straight lines with, but I have never used a lame before, so I don't know if that's a brand specific thing or what all lame's look like. The handle feels good in the hand, either way. It's a great kit, with everything, but the jar for the starter, that you need to get started on sourdough bread. Is there better quality ones out there? I'm sure you can find better quality pieces. But honestly? For a first time sourdough baker, they are all good quality, but they aren't sure what style/feel they prefer yet. The kit is perfect and has everything. They need to start. I think my mother regrets buying a different banneton that didn't include everything. I would have referred others to this.

I have been making the most amazing bread since I watched a few videos about folding. This product is very good and I would highly recommend it.

👤The pan worked well for shaping baguettes. It came with a scraper and bread lame. It has worked well for baking. I have to handle it with care because the corners seem a bit sharp. I have to keep it in a cool place as the metal could easily get bent. I would recommend this set to all bakers.

👤I bought mine from Amazon and it was not a returned or renewed item. The set arrived in perfect shape. If you don't use an under pan, the tray is a bit wobbly. That is doable. I always bake with an egg wash and the pan washes so well that I barely have to scrub it. I often have baked on egg to deal with. The couche is impressive, but it is too big to use all the time, and the little knife is useless. I make the family loaves of French and baguettes twice a week.

I was happy that the bread came out well, but I was disappointed with the bread pan and knight. I'm wondering if it's safe for me to keep using it. I would not mind sending the old one back if I could get a replacement.

I'll have to figure it out. The basket has a liner and is heavy. I will hang it on my kitchen wall.

I spied splinters and breaks that had been repaired with glue after removing the liners. Both bowls. Strike 2. The number of bad reviews seemed to be out numbered by the good. Strike 3 on me. The guy in the video was adamant that his bowls were the best. Within 5 minutes of opening the box, my return instructions were printed and sealed in the box they came in. In 24 hours, it was picked up. I found a bowl on another site.

I've used one without a handle for years and I will never use it again. If you're looking for a good beginners set that has everything you need to start baking artisan style loaves, this is it.

👤The banneton is a four-star review because it's smaller than the description suggests. The Doyolla bannetons I bought are smaller than the description indicates. They handled my loaves of sourdough starter, flour, water, and salt well. The dough-filled bannetons were proofed overnight in the fridge, and I was sure they would overflow, but the dough didn't rise much while in the fridge. I wish I had taken a photo of the dough in the baskets, because it came to within an inch of the top. The first photo I posted is what the loaves looked like after being tipped out of the bannetons and scored. I used the "Bake With Jack" sourdough 101 recipe and these worked well for me.

👤Total false advertisement! You are getting 2 10inch. Oval shaped Bannetons are not what I received. These are not as large as advertised. I already own a 10inch Banneton and this would be a great purchase. These will fit in my banneton. They are not that deep and measure about 9 inches. Will not purchase from this supplier again.

👤I gave a bad review. These things are not food grade. Don't buy. I soaked them again because I couldn't get the smell out. The water turned black when I used a capful of bleach. I live in New Orleans and it looks like black mold. This is dangerous. Not good. The standard is not quality. The linen liners smelled like they had been soaked in month balls and I couldn't get the smell out of them by using a solution of cool water,lemon, and a little Mrs. Myers dish soap. They are cheap and poorly made. The liners didn't fit the bannetons and that was before I washed them. I soaked it in the same solution and allowed it to dry in the sun, but I had to use one basket. I had to use a linen dish cloth to line it up. I needed it or they would go back. You get what you pay for. Try a different seller. I will do that.

👤There are three issues with these baskets. I would not recommend this product to you. 1. There are a lot of metal and rattan splinters. There is a 3mm gap between the two ends of the coil. I'm concerned about eating these splinters since they come off 2. Shipping was very long. I received them a month later. The packaging was poor with the envelope clear-tapped around the baskets. 3. I asked for a refund when I realized the poor quality of the baskets. I was asked to pay for return postage. A vendor is not responsible for their product.

👤Good quality. The price was raised from $9.99 to $15.99. I don't think it's worth much. The good news is that you can close the ball with a twist of the arm. This is a two handed operation. For the price, you could get several small hand held bowl style sifters at $5 a piece and leave each one in your different dry goods containers. The Vollrath brand cookie sheets were highly rated by ATK and the price probably got jacked up after it was mentioned on the kitchen show.

👤I felt silly buying a dusting wand, but I love it. It has many uses in my baking. I use it to dust confectioner's sugar on some baked goods for their finish and it doesn't waste a lot. There is very little waste because I dust with confectioner's to prevent sticking. I used it to dust with cocoa powder. I have a container with a pour spout and holes in it that I can use to sprinkle corn starch or sugar on fondant. I used it to dust Swerve on a stencil over a chocolate cake. It's small enough that you don't have to put too much in a sieve or strainer, having it go all over the place, and then wasting materials. When you empty it out, it washes up nicely.

👤I use this item to make brownies. I wanted to finish them off with some powdered sugar. Dry powdered sugar can change shape. This item fixes something. To fill it, you have to turn the ball at the bottom of the handle. When you dump in some powdered sugar, you have a metal ball full of powered sugar. If you shake it over brownies, you'll get the effect you were looking for. It's nice to be able to do a stencil over a cake that is not going to ice. In this case, you would cut out a heart, place it on your cake, and then shake the powdered sugar over it. You can remove the template and have a heart in the middle of your cake. Cool! Some people call powdered sugar "icing sugar" or "confectioners sugar". Same thing.

👤It's small and cute. The end of the white handle is easy to twist. I opened the ball, took some powdered sugar, and twisted it shut to make french toast. I was able to dust about 12 pieces of french toast with only one ball full of sugar. I dumped the leftover sugar into its container after twisting it open. I didn't wash it right away because it's only ever going to have powdered sugar. It's easy to use. It doesn't take up more space in a drawer than a fork.

The quality of the liners isn't great and they aren't useful as cover over proof dough either, so only Baskets are pretty standard, but they don't show signs of any issues, and the quality of the liners isn't great.

The dough scraper is flexible, so it fits the bowl better than most, and the dough whisk works better than a wooden spoon or spatula. The price was reasonable.

I decided to try the Artizanka baskets because of the issues with Breadtopia. The Artizanka baskets are comparable in quality, and I like the wooden disks for impressing shapes into the loaves. The baskets are made of the same material as my older ones, but the diameter of the rattan is slightly smaller. The wood disks fit in my older baskets and the wrapping and stapling of the rattan is good quality. You can share the wood disks with other round baskets in the set. The linen liner is as good as any I have ever purchased, and the basket also comes with it. I have used my baskets with or without linen, depending on whether I want the loaf smooth or not. I used the basket and disks. I have never used impressing stamps in bread. If you fill the cavity with rice flour, you can use too much rice flour on the disks. duh! The baskets are well made and should last a long time. I bought a second basket because I was so happy with the first one.

This isn't a bad banneton for the amateur home baker who just wants to step up their bread baking a bit. The cut outs are cute and the dough scraper feels good in the hands. The banneton holds flour well. I conditioned my basket an hour after it arrived. The flour leaves good marks. The bad. The basket is from China. This was in a warehouse for a while. The issue with a lot of warehoused self items is that they get damaged the longer they sit around and aren't rotating out. This banneton is not for the hole or the indent which ruins the basket, it is for the quality of the banneton. If I use the insert, the hole is covered by the wood circles design. Again, look at photos. I thought it would be a lottery gamble. I read reviews and took a chance on this brand. I think it will serve its purpose, but I don't think I'll be ordering more from this brand or seller anytime soon.

👤I have been baking bread for a long time and have a lot of baskets. This basket is made out of very good rattan material and it has different designs on it. The liner fits well and doesn't smell bad. The wooden inserts are what sets this basket apart. I used them for the first time and one did work, but the other did not. I like to do my own scoring but having these inserts makes it so much easier and fun. I already have my own professional scraper, which is included in the set. The seller should replace the plastic scraper with a metal one because it is very solid and does its job. It took longer than usual to receive my order. I guess I ordered it at peak season.
