Best Pantry Baking Organization and Storage

👤These are a nice size and feel sturdy, but not as big as I want. The ones I received were not clear. I would call them smoke. They are translucent gray, which makes me crazy because my other bins are all clear. They are going back because I ordered Clear.

👤I don't have a real pantry and instead have a cupboard with deep shelves and no built ins to keep things organized. I ordered a few sizes of MDesign bins because it was so disorganized that I couldn't stand it anymore. I wanted small bins for snacks and other items that were getting buried behind other stuff, so I used large bins for major food categories. I bought a few MDesign bins to stack on top of my big bins. These are perfect for small items like cocoa and instant breakfast packets, as well as snacks like dried fruit and so on. I love that I can see what I have in my cupboard now that I have been able to get rid of the dirty outer packaging. These small plastic bins look great. These are lightweight, stack easily and are an orderly way to use the extra space I have from my cupboard shelves. These are easy to organize and maneuver because they don't have handles. I like the clear bins as it makes it easy to see everything, but I have also added pantry labels as a finishing touch. I was told by MDesign customer service that some styles of the smaller bins are made in other countries. If that is important, it is best to contact the company. I washed my bins after they arrived, even though they looked great. I am buying more of this style for a narrow cupboard where I store my spices and I love these bins. Great product. 5 stars.

👤I got additional styles of the same brand after getting two of these. They are helpful to keep things organized and ready to eat in the morning. We have a section for things that are easy to find. I switched from baskets to this and won't go back. I have a separate one for after school snacks. If you want to build a system, this is a great tool to use. We have bought other styles for the drawer in our fridge to separate meats, cheeses, eggs, and yogurts. It has been a great investment to our family.

👤This is a great storage box. The plastic is not tall. I was able to put my restaurant condiments in my least usable space in my fridge. I had to make room for my creamers in my fridge. I used the other one in my office to organize my office supplies. Since it is clear, I can see what I have in there and make my space look better. If you wanted to, you can stack them easily.

👤They're fine. Some reviews have said that the measurements are a bit smaller than advertised. The canisters are flimsy, they feel like plastic will break if you look at them wrong. The chalk marker that I received did not write well, but that's fine. I didn't know why I bought these. The lids are the real issue. They are not good. They are not very sanitary. The soft plastic seals fold over when they close. The locking mechanism causes the lids to close at odd angles. I had to take every lid to dry them because they pooled up with water inside the lid or inside the seal, even though they were not water-tight. I bought them for what I wanted, but I wouldn't recommend them or buy them again.

👤The ounces are not close to reality. I tried to put a 12 ounce box of cereals in a 28 ounce container, but it only took half the box. It is more like 6 to 8 ounces. Remember about half of what they say if you remember the volume. I need to find a use for them and buy ones that are more accurate. I think it's false advertising but I think I can't return them because I put stuff in them. It was brutal!

👤The containers are sturdy. The only reason for a 3 star review is that they are small. I wanted to be able to store larger amounts of dry goods. I keep them because I can store tea, coffee, and maybe some spices. The containers would be perfect if they were bigger. I would pay more for that.

I was looking for storage solutions when I saw this set of containers. The pantry shelf was the perfect size for the containers. I was thrilled with the quality of the product and the fact that the pen and black labels were included. It is much easier to get the ingredients I need now that I know how to open the containers. Great product!

👤The containers are easy to seal. I have arthritis and I can't handle Tupperware's sealed lid because I love it so much.

👤DIMENSIONS The lid takes up 1 12 inch of the height, which is down from the top of the container to the top of the lid. I am trying to give a very clear description, hope all these details are understandable. The total height of the space is given since the lid goes down, but they allowed for this in the design so they hold even amounts. Each one is square 3 12 x 3 12 2 that hold 2 cups and measures 4 14 high and 6 14 high. Don't forget to add 1 12 inches to the height measurements. The small container has 2 14 inches of space and 1 12 of height. When a few people said they were easy to open, they weren't kidding. It was a lot more than that. My right hand is weak and hurts to hold a pencil after having surgeries on both thumb joints. With these containers, I can flip the lid open with one hand, which is very sore. They are very strong.

👤The containers can all stack and the lids match all of them. All of the same size makes it difficult to fit into a cabinet. I was hoping to buy more of the larger sizes as I don't need any more of the smaller ones, but can only find this set. Amazon is the only seller. Why not just get a second set and use the smaller ones in the craft room? $50 dollars is not bad for the 2 containers, which are 68.6oz (2L) and 84.5oz (2L) that I really need more of. What went up by 19 dollars? I will not be buying a second set and wish I had gone with a different brand that sold more than the one set. Maybe they will sell the larger ones in a 4 piece set? Maybe get a few larger ones for a set of cereals?

👤I was having a problem with A N T. I ordered a 26 pc container set thinking anything boxed or bag would be fine, and then of course I crossed my fingers that we would just transfer into a container. Guess what? The ants are not marching 2x2 or 1x1 anymore. I don't know where they went but they aren't here. All of the containers fit. There's no need to match this top to that bottom because they all fit. The labels stay put, I haven't run them through the dishwasher, and they come with lots of extra labels. I ordered a different pack of chalk markers and the one that came with the containers worked better than the one I spent 15 bucks on. It's bright and white, and stays put until you wash it off. I like the look of my pantry more now that I have more containers. I'm a little paranoid. It makes me happy to be able to get food out without having to clean up the mess.

Some containers had no lids that were sealed at all, despite the fact that they were advertised as interchangeable. The lids don't seal well enough to prevent spills. They are pretty but not functional. I will be back.

I need one more set of these containers because I have only won half of the battle with this one order. The labels stick to the plastic, but the marker is very faint and smudges. The labels don't look as crisp as I would like. The containers are made of plastic. The seller claims that the lids are leak proof and that they take a little effort to push down, but I am not sure if that is true. Will update. I think this is a great set and money well spent, more than likely another will be purchased to complete the job.

👤These were a waste of money and I was really disappointed in them. The part that snaps the lid open and closes is snapping off after a few months. Most of the things in the containers we don't use every day so it's not like they get a lot of use either. If possible, we would like to get a refund or replacement for the broken ones.

There's no wasted space and nice lines in these. I bought the tall ones for pasta noodles and am working on organizing my pantry.

👤I had the urge to reorganize my pantry after watching The Home Edit, and these labels made it happen. I used the Talented Kitchen script pantry labels in black to make sure that they all matched the Rubbermaid Brilliance food storage containers. I had to buy 2 sets of labels because we needed 3 "cereal" labels and I needed to cut apart other stickers to create the exact label I wanted. I took the words from different labels to make what I wanted. When I cut it, I could see they were transparent, but I couldn't tell after I filled the container. Don't mess up the placement. They will come off and re-adhere, but they won't be fully transparent anymore. You can smudge the lines, but it takes some work. Make sure you press down in the middle and work your way out if you want to avoid air bubbles. The good part is that they stay in place. There is no doubt about that.

👤I like the labels. I rearranged my pantry to identify the contents of my new clear containers. The script is lovely, and they have almost every item I use. I have a few negative comments. There is a They are difficult to remove and cannot be re-positioned. There is no second chance if you get it right the first time. A thick Sharpie will not write on the blank labels included in the set. I don't know what else to try. Overall, they look great.

👤I like these. My kitchen has been made by them. I like the style. I went crazy and bought the white version and extension set. I love them. I smile when I open my pantry. I put my jars on both glass and canisters and they adhere to both. I've used a few in the fridge and have no issues with glue. I have washed containers with the stickers a few times and they have not had any problems. I've "frankenstein-ed" a few of them. There was only one sticker for the chocolate chips that I have. I put "cookie" and "chips" together to make a new one, just keep that in mind.

👤Half of the containers are stuck together after I open the box. A thin piece of plastic covers everyone of them, I suppose to keep them from moving in transit, but it creates a barrier. I pulled some apart, but some wouldn't budge. Non are large enough to hold a full box.

👤I found a solution. If you stick the flat handle of a measuring spoon or butter knife between the containers, you can break them. It can be done, but it is still a struggle. The containers are not designed to fit the standard sizes. A box of raisins was too much for the smallest container, but enough to fill the second smallest container. The large containers can't hold a full bag of chips. This isn't a perfect solution if that sort of thing is bothering you. This is helpful for my attention deficit disorder. I can see when things are running out in my cabinets because they are no longer cluttered with bags and boxes. Which is the most important thing. It was absolutely suctioned together. The packaging is terrible. It is impossible to pull apart. I will have to return them if my husband can't get them separated.

👤It was a relief to have containers that fit my pantry. Why are containers rounded? These fit well and stack well as well. I can open and close them with my hands. The price for the number of containers is better than most. The large containers can hold a 5lb bag of flour or sugar. The bag of brown sugar fits nicely in the next size down.

Pull gently on opposing sides until it comes loose. I bent the flaps back and forth three times before closing them. The view of what's inside is not blocked by them. The plastic is thick and flexible, so I could see how it would break if a corner hit the floor. I agree with others that if you'll be washing them, take the rubber gasket out. We're using them to store dry goods, and they fit nicely on my lazy susan. The scoops, markers, and labels are bonuses. There were no issues writing with the marker. I haven't tried wiping it off yet, but there are plenty of stickers. So far, so good, can't speak about their longevity yet.

👤These are great! They have handle openings on either narrow end, one juts inward and the other outward. To stack, you need to stack them opposite of each other, so the bottom one has the end that juts out from the open end of your self, the one on top has the end that juts out from the open end. Having them all the same direction means they nest for storage. These are a nice thick clear plastic, so they are important. Even when stacked, they do not bend or flex. They're easy to clean with a damp cloth and I've washed mine in hot water when they've been spilled. I use them in the pantry and fridge but have not used them in the freezer, so I can't vouch for their longevity. I have dropped these onto the floor from the fridge or pantry shelf and they've never cracked, which is a really great, accidental, test of their resilience. I own a couple sets of these from different brands and this brand is my favorite, even though it was not the most expensive or best reviewed. I would like to be able to buy a set of 4 large ones or 4 small ones without buying the mixed set.

👤These aren't stackable. They nest inside each other but cannot be stacked on top of each other without the top sliding down into the bottom one. It was nice but not what I needed.

The plastic bin that held the chocolate melt and almond bark weighed around 5 lbs and had to be supported underneath when moving, but it broke or flexed too much as I was concerned it would do. I loved the size of the bins and was able to store many items such as sprinkles, treat packaging materials, sugars, and boxed item. The bins weren't as stacked as needed. I had to balance them so that they sat on each other. I couldn't do this with the larger bins. We don't have pictures or instructions in the box to determine if this is a feature of the bins as I had thought. They worked for what I needed and would recommend. They are clear and can be used in a lot of places.

👤These hold a lot. There are 3 baking pans, 6 cutting boards, and 9 cookie sheets in the picture. They are sturdy and have a little weight to them, which makes them great for organizing. It's not a cheap version. It would work to organize large cabinets as well.

👤These are the best rack I have ever seen. I have more cookware than I can shake a stick at, and I desperately needed a way to organize all those pots and pans, particularly pans, since I did a job rotation where I worked on a cookware brand. It was very frustrating to have to pull out 50 pans because I wanted to use the one on the bottom. The manufacturers warranty on your fancy cookware can be voided if you stack your pans in a way where they all sit on the other cookware surface and scratch it up. I purchased one of these items as a test to see if I would like it, and after setting up both racks in my cabinet to organize my pans, I immediately bought another set of racks. I don't think 1 rack on it's own would be enough, so now I have 4 racks total. There are 3 racks lined up next to each other in my cabinet. I use the 4th to organize my bakeware. I want to buy another set but my kitchen doesn't have a lot of space. I don't have a place where I could do it. I've been using these racks and rearranging a bit and they've given me back a lot of space in my kitchen and made it more functional. They feel high quality because of the nice weight of the product. The finish is dark bronze and it looks cheap, but I like it because it matches my high-end cookware nicely. It seems like my pan and the rack will last a lifetime with the proper care, since neither of them gets scratched up or shows signs of wear when I take out a pan. I can not recommend enough how these have changed my life.

👤I don't know what it was that took me so long to purchase this, but it makes a difference. I live in an older home with less-than-modern cabinets and I can't find a place to store my pots, pans and lids. I have to stack the pots and pans on one level in a cabinet that is split in two by a shelf, and I had the lids all laying in a big pile, mixed in with cutting boards on the bottom. It all fell apart when you needed something. These organizers are perfect for the space I have to work with. My cutting boards are in a neat place, I can reach them without pulling out the rest of the board, and this opened up room for other things to be stored in the same cabinet. A+.
