Best Quarter Baking Sheet with Rack

👤The pan are not suppose to warp. I bought them because of that. I want a full refund now that my arm is burned. A replacement with good pans would be helpful. The sheet pans caused pain to my right arm and I am from the USA.

When you say to yourself, "what the hell was I cooking with a giant pan this whole time when I could've been using several smaller ones to do the same Job?", life has peaked. Being able to cook multiple dishes on multiple pans is appreciated. I can cook potatoes in a pan. Chicken is in another garden. These pans are so thick they are not going to bend. Score!

👤I ordered different sizes of pans. A full sheet pan, a 1/3 sheet pan, 3 half sheet pans, a 1/2 sheet pan, and a Jelly roll pan are included. Some of the pans had rack that fit in them. They aren't worth the money. They are not safe to use in the dishwasher. The pans have never been put in the dishwasher, but one of them accidentally got washed in the dishwasher within a couple of weeks after I got it, and the coating came off, and has gotten worse since then. After a couple of months, the coating on all of the others started peeling off and they are starting to get stained as well. It's getting harder and harder to tell which one was the one that went through the dishwasher. The coating on the pans is flaky because of the racks that came with them. I can't recommend them to anyone. I wish I had kept my cheaper ones. The reviews warn you that the coating will fall off. All of the positive reviews have to be paid for.

👤I had a pan like this for a long time. I like to cook bacon on weekends for breakfast, but I don't like the mess of the cook top and not being able to get the right amount of crispness on the bacon. I used this pan to cook bacon in my oven at 300 degrees. The clean up was easy because the bacon was cooked perfectly. The cooking takes longer, but if you time the making of the coffee and the cooking of the pancakes you should be good. I am happy that I bought two of them.

👤The baking rack and pan are the easiest to use and clean brands I have ever used. Heavy gauge steel that won't warp is easy to clean up. I have cooked bacon on this rack, and it cleans up like new. The instructions warn against using cooking spray as it will bake on a gummy coating that can only be removed by damaging the non-stick coating. After cooking bacon on the rack, I drain the grease and put the pan and rack in warm soapy water for 30 minutes. Then I use a plastic bristle brush to clean it. Voila! easypeezy. This will be an heirloom in the future if you put a little money up front. Thank you, USA!

👤Don't buy this set. The grids are too big and only fit garbage sheet pans. I bought a set to give as a gift, but I haven't given it to them yet. Sausage grease was flung over the bottom of the oven when the sheet pan warped, causing the grease to burn to the bottom of the oven and setting off every smoke alarm in the house at 2am. It's not cool with a sleeping husband and a baby. I used the second one to toast buns and melt cheese on them in the oven at about 325F. The second pan did the same thing. There was no grease to fling this time. The pans are not sanitary. The rack is large and doesn't work with standard commercial sheet pans.

👤Carefully read. A quarter sheet pan should be 9x13. It's half the size of a half sheet pan and it's a quarter of a full sheet pan. I bought a 9x7 piece of paper, which was smaller than a sheet of notebook paper. It's cute. I should have read it better. I assumed it was a quarter sheet. These are not a quarter sheet. They should change the name because it's deceptive.

👤The set is made of steel. It is easy to clean and is a healthy option. Unlike aluminum, which can't go to the dishwasher, you can throw it in and wash it in the dishwasher. The cooling rack are amazing. They allow you to either put the whole sheet on it to add cooling from the bottom or directly on them. Think about cookies. It's absolutely wonderful to have sheets of cake. It is very friendly. The quality is great.

👤I use these in my smoker. They fit on the smoker grate. I put the meat on the sheets. The drippings on the sheets and the racks allow smoke to enter the meat. The bowl at the bottom of the smoker has no drippings. This is not a good way to clean the sink. Great value too.

I have been using this almost everyday for about two months now, and it has never warped in or out of the oven. The highest temperature I have used it at was 450 F. Very strong. The wire rack is sturdy and can fit inside the pan no matter the temperature. It will scratch. - It will be hard to keep it sparkling. It has brown grease spots. The pan's edges are brown, but I use tin foil in the bottom to catch the juices. It is almost pointless to try and keep it clean, even though there must be a way to get those stains out. I am satisfied with how it performs in cooking my food. Which has been great! In regards to cleaning, I put the wire rack upside down in the pan and pour soapy water in it so that it will soak for at least 30 minutes. I take the wire rack into the sink and use a brush to clean it up, not a sponge or rubber. If you use a sponge scrubber, you can catch it on the edge of the rack and tear it. The brush will reach more areas than the sponge. If you don't care about your pan looking pretty, I would recommend you to get a new one. Good luck!

I didn't have a lot of doubts about the quality, but more of the size I was concerned about, but it fits about a pound and a half of thick cut bacon on here with no problem, and the rack holes are perfect for the bacon not to fall through! I am very pleased with this rack and look forward to many more. When shopping, the empty bacon bag is included.

👤I really wanted to use this product. I was washing for the second time. I washed it when I received it, but didn't use it until I was ready to use it. I wiped the paper towel on the soap I used. The video shows something coming off the tray as I was drying the sheet. I don't think it's food safe to me. I threw away the package I was stuck with.

I kept it because I needed it to entertain my guests the next day. After the very first use, there were a lot of spots of discoloration that appeared after cleaning.

👤When I picked it up, I was surprised by its heft. It felt heavy so I got a magnet and verified it was aluminum. I think the heft is due to two things. The pan itself is a heavy gage aluminum with a nice robust beaded edge, and within the rolled edge bead my magnet detected what could be a heavy steel wire. A steel wire inside the edge is likely to help stiffen the pan. I'm very pleased with this pan so far. I'll adjust the review once I get used to it.

👤I wanted to buy new sheets, mats, and cooling/ cooking racks after initially searching for silicone mats for our cheap baking sheets. I searched and read many reviews of Sheets that warp, lose their form, collect water, rust, and emit strange odors. Poor welds, rust, warp, or are just weak are some of the things that Racks can't support. I lost confidence in the ability to find something reliable on Amazon. New Star Foodservice showed up before I adjusted my search criteria. I decided to proceed with my purchase after reading the reviews. I put these with heavy duty rack from Hamilton Housewares. I rearranged the sheets for our oven to fit in the largest sheet set. My wife and I are happy. We now have these high quality sheets in all of these sizes. So far, so good! We don't see any of the issues reported by other reviewers because everything is clean.

👤I have used these in baking pans for everything from baking and roasting chicken thighs to asparagus and mixed vegetables. I've used them to freeze all of the above, plus things like ripe bananas, which peel right off without sticking, as a way to vacuum seal for long term storage. When chicken is roasted with a sauce and then frozen on a pan, the clean up is no harder than it would be if it was cooked. If you feel lazy and don't want to exert that much effort, they are dishwasher safe for top rack cleaning.

👤I bought the oven for cooking bacon. If you're careful, they are deep so the grease won't spill if you take it out. The cheap baking sheets should be left behind. They mean it when they say mirror finish. If you don't want the bacon to curl, place it on one rack and turn the other over. If you cook it at the right temperature it will not curl. It would be around 400 degrees. Baking sheets are large.

👤I'm using these with shallow pans with a mat in the bottom. These are very well made and sit high enough above the mat in the bottom of the pan to allow hot air to circulate that cooks all surfaces. It's a good idea to spray the rack with oil before baking or roasting because the grid is quite close. Our Breville toaster oven can be used with the combination of the pan, silicone mat and the SS rack.

👤This pan warped more than any I have had before. It is fine for roasting but not for delicate baking. It starts out flat, but once in the oven there is a loud pop. You can see the results in the photo that was communicated with the manufacturer. They responded very quickly. Sorry to hear the tray didn't work for you. We are finding in a few cases that it warps, but in the majority of cases it doesn't. It seems to be a problem in ovens that don't have an even heating, which makes one side of the pan heat quicker than the other. We are fighting against the natural properties of the steel. If the pan is evenly heated, it won't warp, but if one side is hotter than the other, it will warp. We used a thicker grade of steel to try and hold the pan rigid, which works well, and put the rod inside the rim. I am happy to arrange for a refund if you can provide me with your order id. If the pan is usable for you, then keep it, if not, then give it to a friend or relative, as chances are it won't warp in a different oven.

👤It is easy to clean but bent in the oven at 450 degrees. When heated, it will pop back into place. It has been staining very easily. I changed to 3 starts because it pops back to place and still heats evenly when popped in the oven.

👤The description says they designed and made a non warping baking sheet, but it does warp a lot. We use these for things like baking french fries, tator tots, chicken thighs, and when they get hot, they warp badly. One corner will be close to an inch higher than the others. It's not acceptable in a baking sheet. I have some old aluminum and steel sheets that don't warp, and I also have some plain steel sheets that don't warp. I wanted to use the dishwasher. I've used them about a dozen times with the same results. They warp when I use them. The temp I use for fries and tots is 450, but they warp at 375 for chicken. They need to be flat at the temperature they are used to, but that's useless when the temperature cools. The design was bad. Don't buy these if you want sheets that stay flat. They may work fine as a cookie baking sheet at 350 or lower, but I have not tested to see if they start warping. They are useless as a baking sheet at higher temperatures. I'll add more pics later. The pictures of the warping have been added. I don't recommend them because they are not warp resistant. Try another brand and save your money.

👤I'm not the cook. I know how to use hardware and tools. My girls told me they didn't have good quality baking equipment so I got this cooling rack. I bought this rack based on positive comments about it from a friend. This thing can be used to beat a man to death. It's heavy, solidly built, won't bend or deform from abnormal use, and does it's job with attitude and an over engineered style. I bought one because I didn't know what I was doing. I'm buying three more because you have to have four. I don't mind. It made my girls happy and satisfied my manly definition of a solid tool. I did well.

👤I ordered this cooling rack because it was easy to clean and it was made of STAINLESS STEEL. The supporting framework is made of steel. The wire mesh on top is not real steel. It's hard to wash because of the rough coating on the wire mesh. I used the rack today and it works well, the baked goods seem to get stuck to the wire mesh.

Is it possible that Amazon shipping caused this? The rack was thrown in the Amazon box so who really knows, but there are no obvious signs of damage. It doesn't seem like a shipping problem. Storage problem? Maybe. I am leery now. I am not worried that a heavy cast iron skillet will fall off, but what if the dish soap was a bowl of soup? It might be light enough to be a problem. I only bought one rack as a trial. I am unlikely to buy more of these so my research is incomplete. It's the same thing. The owner of the Ultra Cuisine brand sent me a nice note apologizing for the problem along with a replacement rack. Thank you much! The replacement rack is very nice. 👤We've tried a lot of different racks in the past, even after seeing reviews that suggested they might not be good for baking, only cooling. I was very happy to find this one that can do both. It was suggested by a youtuber that focuses on Sous Vide. He uses it to hold vacuum sealed bags with food in the water bath. This has held up well under water and has been used for baking. This rack is for the price. When you bake something on it, spray some cooking spray on it and it will clean up.

👤I bought two of these pans to use for Christmas cooking. I spent Christmas eve cooking and baking with these pans. There was a lot of build up in the pans. I baked fish on top of the rack. I loved them! But them. When it was time to clean them, I soaked them in warm water and let them sleep. This is what I woke up to today, as I do with all my pans. My pans are ruined. 👤I will definitely order another one of these pans. Excellent quality, I love how sturdy this pans is. I checked the Amazon description and it said it was dishwasher safe, but I was hesitant to put it in the dishwasher. I should have washed them with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and dish soap, but they came out with dried spots. I tried and the spots came out. The pan's finish looked scratched. See the picture! Hand wash the pan. There is no clean up if the pan is lined with aluminum foil or parchment paper.

👤The pan and rack are small. I like it. The material rusts because of the rolled in edges that retain water. It leaves brown rust water when I pick it up. I think I will have to return it. It's the perfect size and would be great for baking fish.

👤The pan and rack are heavy, so that's a plus, but there are problems. There is a heavy edge, but there is a gap between the side of the pan and the rim, so you can't really dry it well, so rust will build up over time. The top edge of the pan has rough spots that look like a knife was run over it. There is a spot on the rack edge that is stuck and can not be removed. I haven't cooked it yet, but I think it will be a great pan.

👤Within a month my pan is starting to rust in the crevices on the back side and is completely discolored from hot substances making contact with it. The pan is not holding up the way I expected, but the rack is fine. It works well for cooling and drying out food, but the fit and finish fell apart very quickly. I expected it to be a bit more durable, but maybe there's some user error here, I should have seasoned it or it's not for use with high temperature liquids or foods.

👤The pan/rack set is perfect for me. It was used for drying salted steaks in the fridge. The 1/2 size sheet pan takes up a lot of space. This one is large enough to fit on the top shelf. Excellent quality and weight. It's great for baking and other cooking tasks, if you use it on the small size, and I use it to bake a few sweet potatoes at a time. I would buy again in a heartbeat.

They were scratched, a few rust stains were visible on the sides, and now they needed to move onto their next chapter in my garden area. I was the only option under the sequestration. It took me 2 hours to read reviews and make my mind up, but I changed my mind before I press BUY. I was annoyed at the amount of time I had taken to make the purchase. I wasn't ready until I was. I found these cookie sheets, which was a good thing. They looked at the boxes I wanted. I really wanted the cookie sheets with the checkered rack and not the slatted rack, because I wanted them for BACON! I discovered that I wanted Silicone baking mats. This set had everything. They were on their way when I pressed the button. I love them! I have had them for a while now. They are used every Sunday for bacon. They are easy to clean. I have not had any issues with warping. I dry them so I don't see rust. I don't have to watch it because it's the easiest and least messy way to make bacon that all turns out perfect at the same time. I put my strips on the rack and warmed them to 350. In 20 minutes, bacon is done. It's easy. I would buy these again.

👤I got a half sheet pan from the local restaurant supply store and it has lasted for at least 10 years. I thought it was a good deal to buy all standard commercial sizes, since it came with the grate and the silicone mat, and I finally decided to clean up the mess of mismatching pans. It feels like it's 30% thinner than the pan I already own. My 10 year old pan has no dents and it's been through a lot, so I don't mind that it came with a dent. I went to my local store and found that they sell combo packs with the grate and the silicone mat for the same price. I'll just go to my local store now that I know what I'm buying.
