Then wipe the thin coat of oil on the stove top. Below my pie recipe is my crust recipe. These are easy to make and hard to mess up. It is the most time consuming part of rolling the crust. If you use a pre made crust, you can have a pie in the oven in a few minutes. It takes more time to heat the pan than to make the pie. It is 20 minutes add on time but for me it is worth it because I clean up the flour and mixing bowl and cutting board. I find rolling the dough out to be my biggest irritation.
